This was a beautiful, flattering gown. The length was just right. Unfortunately it was a bit snug on me so I didn’t get to wear it. Next formal event I have I will rent this dress and size up. 

This is a beautiful dress with subtle color and pattern. I love the reverse iridescent in the ruffle. It was comfortable to sit in, dance in and stand around in. I would not say the fabric has much stretch, but that wasn't a big deal the dress still fit and moved beautifully!  The designer size chart is a good size indicator! 

Wore to a black tie gala and got tons of compliments! Loved it so much I bought it!

I rented a 4R and 6R and could have wore either but opted to squeeze into the 4R with spanx. I wore a sticky bra and that was perfect. The pop of color underneath was a hit too. 

Loved the look of this dress! Wore it to the Black Girls Vote gala and got so many compliments. It does run small though — the back zipper was a struggle and it fit a bit tight in the chest. Once it was on, it was still comfy. I recommend sizing up, ladies!”

I love this gown!!! But it’s a guessing game with my size now that my dead thyroid is getting under control. Will have to order in another size later! It’s truly beautiful!!


Absolutely stunning on! Sooooooo many compliments!! Rented the 4 and 6 because I tend to be between sizes. Both would’ve worked, but I wore the 4. The 6 was slightly big in the chest and strangely about an inch and 1/2-2inches longer. Actually, very pretty drape in the back with the longer length, but dragged a bit in the back and I was concerned about poor wear on the dress when outside. The 4 was perfect, shoes a little exposed but safe for walking. Bust was snug in a good way, but did find myself having to adjust slightly throughout the evening for comfort. Fabric is thicker but not heavy. Fantastic for travel because no wrinkling! As per other reviewers, the pictures don’t do the fabric design justice at all. Lovely iridescent weaving that brings out different colors. So very unique. All in all a total WIN! My husband kept telling me how beautiful I looked. And again, tons of compliments…especially nice to receive from other woman I did not know.

This dress was so beautifuil adn fit so well. I wore it for my birthday photoshoot only but would totally rent for an event that requires gowns. While it looks more silver and black, there are blue and purple hues that allows for cr3eativity with the shoes. I wore purple. 

Ordered the 4 and the 6, 6 fit perfect. Love this dress so much, if I had a reason I would buy it. Lots of color and the pictures don’t do it justice. Had tons of compliments. Rent this dress!

This dress is gorgeous. The Long was perfect on me and I’m only 5’8” (the regular was out of stock so I took the long version and it was fine) 
I should have sized down to a 14 but it worked 

Slightly more metallic than anticipated. May not work for super, busty women. Comfortable and easy to dance in.

I wore this to the opera and a woman stopped me and said she missed the days when everyone came to the opera dressed like this. It's such a unique print, like iridescent fish scales but make it glam. I loved wearing this. Even at my height the 2R worked with heels. Note: if you are a smaller cup size the top will stay up fine but you will probably want fashion tape to prevent gaps. 

I got a lot of compliments on this dress. It was great!!!

Great dress for a gala! Was comfy to move and dance in 

I ordered an 8R and 6R. I was happy to fit into the 6R. It was very comfortable and ai received a ton of compliments. I wore it with heels and took off my shoes to dance, so it was a tad long, but it worked out great pattern is almost embroidered; it's not just a printed fabric, which I didn't expect and thought I wouldn't like, but when I put it on, I loved it. 

This was such a beautiful dress but the top was much too large for me. You would have to be very busty to fill it out. 

I loved this dress. I’m in between a 6&8 and could have sized down, but I loved how comfortable the dress was and forgiving in the stomach. Loved the high slit and felt the chest support was strong. Got compliments all night from other women. 

Loved it! It was perfect for black tie wedding! 

Loved this dress! Wasn’t sure from the photos but tried and loved it, and it fit great for the occasion. 

If you want to turn heads….this is the dress! 

The fabric is everything! So unique, great quality, and more interesting in person. A snug fit, but not uncomfortably so. My only complaint is that the boning didn't go down far enough and had become twisted and tweaked making it necessary to adjust the top and girls frequently. It was clear this dress was well-loved before it came to me. Made for epic cleavage on me, so be prepared. But I would totally rent again for a gala or black tie event. 

Absolutely loved this one, and it was great for the girls! I felt like  a mermaid in this one and got so many compliments. Great for busty girls and wasn't too long. 

Wore this for onstage event.  Confortable.  I usually don’t wear strapless but this one fit just so well.  

Absolutely fell in love with this dress. Wore it for anniversary dinner and my husband gushed over it. It has great structure and fit. The details are beautifully done and it's better in person than in the photo. 

The dress was perfect in every way! It was gorgeous in person (more gold than silver, but the silver still popped), had a great fit, and made me feel like the belle of the ball! 

So comfortable and the fabric is beautiful. I have a very hourglass shape. Fit perfect in the bust and hips, was a little loose in the waist but it was not that noticeable and was comfortable. I wore a strapless bra underneath and the dress stayed up all night, even while dancing. Height was perfect. I wore 2” heels and it didn’t drag. I received many compliments on the dress.

It is very snug in the chest area, which I loved because nothing moved, but if you have a large chest you may want to go up a size for the room. 

The gown is iridescent. I was looking for a dress for a wedding in Florida. Material may have been too thick for a May wedding in the south. Regardless, the chest was way too lose on me.  

This amazing dress had me feeling like I was walking the red carpet.  The fabric was gorgeously detailed w peacock feathers but had zero stretch or give. Size up or your lungs can’t expand to breathe! I normally wear size large on top, size 8 or 10 bottoms, and a size 10/12 in dresses.  The 14 was absolutely perfection. 

It can fold over a bit in the front and I suspect that the 12L that I got may have been one of the more previously rented dresses which is why this was happening. 
Overall great dress, that fit the Funky Formal theme for my friend’s wedding. It was also more comfortable than I expected which made dancing the night away so much easier. 
This dress had a flattering silhouette and I could see how it would be complimentary to a variety of body types and sizes.  

Get the size up. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the 12 so I squeezed into the 10. The dress is so amazing my friend made this photo for me. I was able to ballroom dance with no problems in the strapless dress. Very well structured.

I loved this dress! It was super flattering

I loved the pattern and texture of this dress.  The ruffle and drape in front provided coverage for my midsection which always boosts my confidence.   I tried it on first without a bra but I did not have enough to fill the top of the dress adequately so went with a padded strapless bra which helped. 
I loved this dress and had so much fun wearing it. I was sad the night ended and I had to take it off. 

Not much stretch with this dress.   THE bust was a bit snug, the remainder of the dress fit well.   Easy to walk and sit with dress due to side slit.   

At first try, I did not think this dress was going to work, but after figuring out some zipper logistics (needed to pull the back of the dress down while someone else pulled up, thanks husband!), it was a dream!!! I am normally a size 10, but luckily the 12 was roomy enough for my hips/large rib cage circumference (that's where the dress fit tightest). Perfect length though and never felt like I needed to pull it up  (which happens for me on most strapless dresses). Overall, stunning and received countless compliments, so do yourself a favor and rent it ASAP! 

I will be renting from Rent the Runway again!   It's very convenient to shop for so many styles without ever leaving your home.  I am also a big fan of the return pick-up from your house!!!
