Loved it! Got so many compliments. Fit just right and it wasn’t too long in heels (I’m shy of 5’2”)

I have NEVER received so many compliments as when I wore this dress. It was so beautiful and flattering. A tiny bit large in the chest but overall fit me better than my backup size (4). I may end up renting this again soon.

Out of all the dresses that I ordered, this one fit the best. If you're a woman that kind of has a straight waist, this one will give you a tapered, tailored waist and more of a bottle shape than what you actually have. If that's something that sounds good to you, I would definitely rent it for that reason. I felt like this dress was the most flattering on me out of the 5 I rented. The red is a really gorgeous red and it stood out and all my pictures. I would say it's the perfect Christmas dress. The strap was a little bit big on me and fell down several times throughout the night, but nothing I couldn't handle. The bustline is very pretty too, and I feel like it would fit a lot of women, sizes and shapes. Overall, I felt like it was gorgeous and it will look nice on a lot of body types.

For reference, I wore a size 6 in this dress, and it fit perfectly. I am about a size 2 in jeans from White House, Black Market and a size 4 in most all other dresses. Size up if anything. 

I received lots of compliments on the dress I wore to a wedding! It was very comfortable to wear all day long and wasn't too long for my 5'1" 

I really like this and a friend said to choose this one for the event but I found a darker purple to be more my style. This was flattering and not too body con though. If I rented again I would size up 1 and get a 10 (I’m usually 8/28). 

This ran large in the bust. It’s a lovely dress, but didn’t seem suitable for what I needed. 
However, it felt great and I would have asked for the next size down if I were to hold onto it. 

This gown is flowy yet fitted in the right spots. I was comfortable all night from sitting during speeches to the dance floor. Tons of compliments!

I got so many compliments on this dress! Wearing size 2. Nice not to hem or trip on the length! Could have also gone with black or red heels but I went with gold. 

Wore to a black tie wedding and loved the fun pop of red. Comfortable and relatively comfortable for formal wear. The boning got uncomfortable by the end of the night.

Love love love this dress the style everything. It was a little tight on the top, a bigger bust may need to keep that in mind but it did help it stay in place. Perfect for black tie wedding or formal affair 

I wore this for professional family photos, and the red was a stunning contrast to the green background. The dress fell beautifully. I was able to wear a strapless bra. I’m 5‘9“ and it was the right length with 4 inch heels.

Second star is that it’s a true red. Other than that, it’s a one star review. Had such higher hopes for this one. 

I was the hostess of a black tie gala at The Elms in Newport for a gathering of Bordeaux wine aficionados on Bastille Day and had to look the part! The dress was stunning and shaped me nicely and fit well - once I got into it! It has a built in bodice, so no bra needed. But ideally, you will need a friend to zip you into the dress, which fits very tightly on purpose. 

My biggest complaint, echoed by others, is that the wires inside the support for the bodice (think modern day corset) actually poke THROUGH the fabric and stab you in the ribs! It’s painful and leaves a mark. I used double sided fashion tape to try to cover the wires where they poked out. But this is a flaw in the dress. It’s gorgeous and I felt like a queen wearing it. But be prepared to protect your skin. Ideally, RTR should have their seamstress sew thicker fabric over the tip of the wires. They hurt!!

Fits great, it’s super comfortable and doesn’t fall or anything! It could be worn for many events! I wore it for a parade

True to size and absolutely beautiful gown!! 

RENT THE DRESS!! I rented this for a black tie wedding. I was nervous it would be too long (I’m 5 ft tall) but it was just right with 3-4 inch heels. It’s so gorgeous!

Compliments all night. The ribbing was so uncomfortable - but the dress was worth it!

Perfect dress for any formal affair.  The dress is long so heels are needed. Great material and the color is the perfect shade of red.

This dress fit like a glove and was perfectly supportive. A bit long for me even with heels, but a showstopper nonetheless!

LOVED this dress! I should have sized down but they didn't have it and when I got the 8, I could barely size it up over my bust 32DDD, but when I actually work it 3 weeks later it fit and had room to spare. So I'm not sure what was going on but either way, I stuck some fashion tape to me in the front and enjoyed the heck out of my birthday party! 

So classy and beautiful! Compliments all night long. I didn’t have to wear a bra, but I wear a strapless just in case because I am a 34D but the design and built-in bra was really supportive on its own.

I felt gorgeous in this dress for my husband’s award ceremony. Fits wonderfully on an hour glass. It does run a size small.

Vibrant gown with flattering ruffle detail. Good length with 2-3” heels. A little scratchy under the arms. Could have done a size smaller. Would rent again!

So I'm a size 0. I got a size 2 bc it was the only size available, but it felt larger than a two. Furthermore it made me look wider than I am. Probably the extra fabric. It just wasn't flattering at all. The material and color were nice though. 

Great fit- true to size and was a good length for 5’5” with tall heels (hem hit just barely off the ground). I felt glamorous and comfortable!

fit very well, the lining on the bodice is very flattering. not too long but needed to wear heels, i am 5’4”. the color was beautiful.

Ordered last second for a big event, was a little tight in the chest at first but loosened throughout the night. Would rent again! 

This was a beautiful dress for the occasion, Presidental retirement banquet for Univ of Tampa and school colors are red and black. This was the wow factor I wanted knowing so many others were wearing red as well. Beautiful fit. I did size up because of my chest, so the 8 fit perfectly. 

This gown was so flattering around all my curves. The red was bright and vibrant and made me feel old Hollywood glam. Highly recommend!

This dress is absolutely beautiful—flowy, elegant, and perfect for a special occasion. It was my first time using Rent the Runway, and I’m thoroughly impressed! The return process was super easy, and I loved that they included a size 2 as a free backup. I typically wear a 4 petite, and the size 2 fit perfectly without the need for sky-high heels. Highly recommend!

I loved this dress and would absolutely rent it again. Got so many compliments. I’m normally a zero or two, and went with a zero in this dress because I am very small chested and the two was too big in the bust. I’m 5’5 and the length was perfect with my high heels.
