This dress was ordered as a back up at the last minute. It was big on me but I made it work with a few pins strategically placed. 

I've been trying to find a dress for an awards dinner at a resort in Cabo. This dress is beautiful but definitely very firm fitting (I took a chance to see how it would look on). While it's a gorgeous dress, I didn't feel like it was right for my event. 

I've rented only Badgley Mischka now with rent the runway and I must say- for hour glass girls- it's the way to go. Hides all the flaws and accentuates all the positives. Great color, true to size fit, was comfortable and danced all night. No complaints!

I got so many compliments. The only thing I didn't like is that the strap on the left side was a little loose and kept sliding down. I usually am between a 20-22 so maybe that's why! 

I rented this for my law school's formal. I felt like a Princess all night. The fabric had a good amount of stretch and give and was comfortable. The sequins can run your arms a little, but I didn't notice it too much to be honest. I felt gorgeous in this dress, I loved it. 

Color is really pretty in person.  Comfortable and light and you can wear a normal bra.  

I felt great in this gown. It fit well and I loved that I could wear a normal bra with it. I was afraid it might be too long since it was a Long, but it was actually perfect with high heels. I got compliments all night long!

I wore this to a holiday party and I felt amazing in it. I received lots of compliments. It's definitely a VA VA VA VOOM dress

I'm a 16 (stretch) 18 (no stretch) I ordered a 20 based off reviews. It was wayyyyyy too big on me. I do have a smaller waistline so if you need a dress with a filler midsection this is the one for you 

I rented this dress for a gala. It fit better than expected and was comfortable throughout the night. I will probably rent it again - loved it. I almost made it through the night without the sequins bothering my arms 

I’m finding that even though I’m a 0 or a 2 in everyday clothes, I am definitely a 4 in evening wear. This dress fit perfectly. Loved ever square inch of it! 

This dress fot great. I was very worried since I'm short with huge tatas and a spare tire. The girls were shown perfectly and although they were out there, they were covered. Was able to wear a regular bra despite the lower back. The sequins do rub the under arm after awhile. I didnt feel super self conscious about my belly during. I felt the dress was very flattering. I can see a small outline in the pictures but considering what I'm working with, I will take it lol. Definetly recommend

Wore this dress for a big awards gala, and won! Felt like a million bucks even beyond the trophy. The fit is forgiving, accentuating curves while also drawing the eye away from the stomach. It's not going to hide your shape, but why not lean into it, right? I decided not to wear shapewear and just let my fat glory on display. Also, I had to get a pushup + plunge bra to fill out the top of this dress, as in the size 22 dress, my 42DDs were not anywhere close to filling it out in their natural habitat. But in that pushup/plunge bra, they are fabulous. I love this dress and was sad to send it back. Got a ton of compliments. 

I usually wear a size 6, so I was pleasantly surprised by the fit though the material has some stretch for an ideal fit. The dress fell right above my heeled toes with the back being slightly longer. Elegant and classy!

The dress fit well, is comfortable, and was very forgiving; it's a little stretchy. I am a curvy woman and the dress was able to handle my assets. I got soooo many compliments about this dress! 

Loved wearing this glamorous dress. I don't normally wear sequins, so this was new for me! It was a great silhouette. It fit true to size, and has stretch to hug curves in the right places. It was not even too long for me, which I was worried about as I am 5'3". (Taller ladies 5'6" and over may want to order the tall size.)


FYI - the sequins do get a bit rough under the arms. If you are sensitive to that kind of texture, this might not be for you. The only other thing is that it is a bit too low cut to wear with a bra. A strapless or fashion tape could help if you don't want to chance the odds of a nip slip (or live dangerously like I did). 


Wore this for a black tie event for my husband!

It was a nice dress, different from the usual black dresses at formal events. The sequins weren't itchy and the dress itself was comfortable. I didn't have to wear a bra, and there was a good amount of cleavage. 

I am only 5'2, so I wore the Petite, and even I thought it ran a little short. Luckily I had planned on wearing some shorter heels anyways!

The only downside is almost every other woman  at the event had a sequined dress, so I didn't feel like it stood out as anything special. 

Runs short. It was the perfect length for me, and I'm 5'2" and only wore three-inch heels. If you're average height (above 5'3") go with the long version. On the flip side, if you're on the shorter side like me this dress is perfect if you're worried about length!

Not sure how much I weigh because scales are the devil, but I am typically a true size 0, and this one had a little extra room (it fit -- but I could still breathe normally and it zipped up cleanly) 

This is also a TRUE SIZE ZERO. Not a vanity size 0. It must be designed for a more narrow build, because I basically have no shoulders and it fit perfectly. Overall I'd say it's ideal for a petit body type overall, which was awesome because I typically have a horrible time finding long, gown-dresses that don't swallow me whole. 

I got so many compliments! I could wear a regular push-up bra without seeing any straps. Wish I had order a 4L, was a little shorter than I preferred. 

I didn't end up wearing this dress but it was very pretty on. I'm 5'4 and this dress definitely required substantial heals so I wouldn't step on the dress. My favorite part was the slit to show some leg. However, since this formal event was around a lot of family, I opted out as it seemed a little too sexy for the occasion. I also tend to stay away from form fitting, but this dress wasn't overly tight for me at 130lbs. It also has some rouching (sp?) at the midsection that helps to hide any belly pooch.  The sequins did get caught on things easily and may have been annoying if I had worn it all night. 

Rented this lovely piece for a Roaring 20s Wedding wedding Dec 2017. Lovely dress. Plunging V neckline. Which I didn't mind, but may be too much for some. I sized up, as the 20 (one shoulder version) was just a little short in length and fairly snug in the rump. 22 was long enough to just sweep the top on my heels. And perfect fit. The sequins were fun and a lovely rich navy color. 

Pros: the fit was perfect. The quality was amazing. 

I wore this to my boyfriends military dining out. It was perfect! I loved how light and comfortable this dress was. The sequences on this dresses are beautiful and extra sparkly which I loved!!! The con with this dress was I wish it was a little longer. I would highly recommend! 

Even with sequins there was a stretch to it so you did not have to worry about feeling restricted. It fit true to size though if you are a different size up top vs bottom it was a little loose. Had a sexy feel without showing excessive skin. Great dress for any size. 

Great dress. Received lots of compliments. Hid all my "imperfections" well. Would definitely rent this dress again.

That being said, even though the length is regular, it seemed just a little bit short to me. I am 5'6", and without heels, the dress barely touched the ground. With heels on, it looked a little weird, but it was nothing that made me hate the dress!

Prom this year was space themed, but I also wanted to go elegant and this dress was perfect! Felt like the night sky and so classy . The slit was at the perfect length and the cut isn't too low. My only problem were my heels kept catching on the bottom of the dress so when I walked I had to hold my dress up a bit, and I did not wear a bra which I soon found out I should have. Apparently my boobs were too small to fill it up so a bra wouldve made it a 5/5 experience. I would definitely rent again!!

This was my backup dress when the size 16 I ordered in another style didn't work- this dress was wonderful! The 18 was out of stock but it would have been perfection. Since I sized up to the 20, the straps/chest area was a little large but I didn't have to pin. I just found myself pulling up on it during the night. The sequins were beautiful and the ruching was very flattering! Would definitely wear again. 

This dress is so beautiful and very flattering. I'm 5'3" and weight 135lbs. I'm curvy and I usually wear 6 in jeans and a 4 in tops. The ruching at the yummy had a very slimming effect.  I ended up wearing the 6S with 2 inch heels and the dress just skimmed the floor.  My back up size was the 8S and it was really short, didn't touch the ground.   The dresses came a day earlier than scheduled and were easy to return. I will definitely use RTR again and would highly recommend this dress. 

I adore this gown!!! I felt beautiful and feminine the entire night!!! It was extremely comfortable!!! Not snug AT all. In fact I probably could have sized down especially with shapewear underneath! I liked that I could wear a regular bra but I would recommend wearing a "plunge" style one as there is a bit of a deep v. 

This dress is a showstopper! The girls at RTR are amazing. My initial dress and my backup style were horribly unflattering and they over-nighted me an additional two dresses!! As soon as I put this one on I knew it was the one. The fabric is so forgiving and flattering. It runs very true to size and was the perfect length in the front, and a little longer in the back which gave it a dramatic effect. I got compliments all night from complete strangers. I couldn't have had a better dress. Highly recommend - especially for us full figured ladies! 

Usually wear 18/20 in jeans and top..but went up a size..it was a little big in the top..but nothing a safety pin wouldn't take care of!


This dress is beautiful--I got compliments all night and found the fit to be flattering. It's scratchy (because of the sequins) but not distractingly so. If you aren't comfortable showing some cleavage, this probably isn't the dress for you. I'm 5 feet tall and wore this with 3-inch heels. 

I am 5 4" and I wore 3 inch heels. The length l was perfect. It was super comfortable to wear. Can wear regular bra under it which was great. I did have to do a small pin at the bottom of the V neck as it seemed one side was stretched a little so it exposed my bra. The pin worked great and it was perfect after that. I received lots of comments about how pretty the dress was. 

This dress was trying incredible! The color and sparkle were beautiful, totally perfect for the New Year's Eve masquerade ball I wore it to. The fit of this dress runs a little large; I usually wear a size 8 and ended up wearing the 6 I got as a back up. That being said, it hugged my curves perfectly (I'm VERY curvy in the hip and bust area) and wasn't overly revealing in the bust. It was also super comfortable and didn't scratch under the arms like most sequined dresses do! The only real issue I had was with the length of the gowns. The 8 petite was VERY short, coming several inches above the floor without shoes on- and I am pretty short at not quite 5'2. The 6 long I ended up wearing was a little too long and so I ended up having to hold it up for dancing. But all in all, I was very satisfied with this dress. I felt so glam the whole night and was so sad to have to send the dress back. Would 10/10 recommend!

The dress fit true to size and was very flattering. It ran a little long on me at 5'2" with 3 inch heels, but worked fine and didn't get in my way much. It's my favorite dress I've worn to date!

This dress was amazing. It was super flattering, comfortable and so, so, so glamorous. The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is that it is clear the dress has been around the block a few times. The sequins in the armpits were worn and almost silver. There were strings where some sequins had fallen off that I had to trim. That was frustrating. But I'm sure no one else noticed. 

I can’t even begin to describe how great I felt wearing this dress. I can’t find a single negative thing to say.
