This is a perfect mother of the bride dress. Or anyone going for a more conservative look. While the color is vibrant, the design reads a bit matronly. 

Wore this to a November black tie optional wedding. The sizing was true to size and the length was perfect. Got so many compliments on the color. 

I’m normally an 8 so I ordered the 8L so it would cover my heels, and it was the perfect length! It ran a little big in the bust and waist, so I’d suggest ordering two sizes to see which fits best.

Wore this to a wedding. I ordered the 6 and 4r. I wore the 4r. It was a little too long (I’m 5’0”) but not too noticeable. It fit well and I got tons of compliments. I have broad shoulders and this dress sort of hid that, which I liked. 

This dress is so fabulous for a black tie event. The color is so vibrant and the style of the dress is so elegant. You feel secure in the dress with the zipper placement and thick material. Length was also perfect for me with a kitten heel!

So perfect. I felt beautiful and got a million compliments. Wore spanx on the bottom but didnt really need them and no bra or sticky tape needed. I’m 5’4 and would probably get the long if I rented again 

This gown is STUNNING! I lost count of how many compliments I got on this dress. The color is even more beautiful in person than in pictures. I’m 5’5, wore 2 inch heels, and the dress was a smidge away from touching the floor (which was perfect for me!). I was shocked the size 2 fit me (I’m curvy in the hips and thighs) and still had enough extra room for comfort. I have a small bust but there was still plenty of extra room up top for larger busts. The cut of the dress is super flattering with the gathering/pleats in the waist and hourglass cut for the hips.

Wore this to our butterfly 🦋 ball, it was comfortable and classy!

Compliment after compliment! The fabric is thick & luxe. The color is gorgeous. Only complaint is the zipper—as other comments mention, it’s hard to zip and I ended up wearing the larger backup size because I was getting dressed alone & the extra space made it easier to zip alone. Stand out in this purple gown at your next black tie event!

I wore this dress to a formal event and got many compliments.  I'm small busted, the size 6 was too big but the size 4 fit great without a bra.  Larger chested ladies might find the top too snug. 37-30-40 

I wasn’t able to wear the dress as advertised but it still worked. The side zipper was difficult to zip up when I wore the dress on my left shoulder. I decided to wear it as a tube dress, and it zipped up without issue. Received many compliments. 

Classic formal dress.  No stretch, but proportions are a true 8.  If you’re a little more hourglass, or anticipate sitting for an extended period, you might want to size up so it’s less-fitted but a flattering tight over curves.  Color speaks for itself. 

This was my first experience with RTR and WOW! The dress arrived as promised, communication was great and it was so comfortable. I felt amazing in this dress and received so many compliments. I’ll rent this one again!

This was an amazing dress for an awards banquet! The fit was spectacular and the color was so gorgeous. I was worried the material was going to be too thin, but it was thick enough that you couldn’t see any bumps, my belly button, etc. Such a fun dress!

Beautiful gown for a black tie event, the only downside was the hidden zipper on the side. I needed help from my husband to zip it!

Ordered this dress as a last minute backup to one that didn’t fit quite right. Got it in just before the event I needed a dress for, and it was absolutely perfect! I loved the vibrant purple color and the fit was amazing. It was the perfect length with silver shoes I already had, and everything came together and I ended up liking this dress even more than the original I had picked. I got lots of compliments on the dress and color during the event and after. Highly recommend this if you want a simple and elegant dress, with a touch of drama (the bow at the neck) in a standout color. 💜

Loved it! Perfect for a creative black tie gala. Comfortable and easy to wear - no bra needed at least for me. I debated getting a petite but with  4.5" heels the regular 0 worked well for a floor length effect. I noticed some others including the model wore this slightly shorter but I thought full length was more flattering on me. Would not have purchased this for nearly $700 but it was very high quality! Love RTR for pieces like this!

Loved this dress, was perfect for a wedding. 

Striking color and show stopping design, but VERY snug through the rib cage.  Bra unnecessary but high waisted control top hose definitely were!! 

The 4petite was too tight in the rib cage, but the 6 petite was perfect. Length worked with heels. I loved this dress!!!

This dress got so many compliments! Fits well but the zipper was a tad difficult so I almost didn’t wear it. Glad I was able to!

Gorgeous and a very flattering fit.  I received many compliments.  It is not very forgiving in the waist and a little tricky to zip.  I’m a normal size 12 but went up to a 14.  Glad I did…I probably would have been more comfortable in a 16!   The length was perfect on me and I’m 5’8”.  Would definitely rent this one again!!

This dress was better than I was expecting. The color was so beautiful and I got so many compliments. The zipper was tricky because I always feel like the teeth of those hidden zippers get bent so I had to have my husband help me zip it but otherwise I loved this dress and felt it fit true to size. It's not super long as you can see so you will see your shoes. 

It was too long for me, so I had to use temporary hem tape, but it worked! I’d buy this if I could!

Had to wear some solid shape wear but so glad this fit for a semi formal Mardi Gras themed event
