I got so many compliments on this. It was so comfortable, great with a strapless bra (though you don’t really need one), and just a cool shape and architecture. In the pictures I thought it’d be more teal, it’s a dark teal/emerald. I wish this would go on sale so I could snag it up!

Incredible dress, so many compliments! I am fairly narrow in the ribs and this dress was tight! I would have preferred a size up but it was manageable. Great color and fun to wear rent this dress!! 

Pictures don't do this dress justice. I was celebrating my 50th and wanted a non-typical dress that had color and accentuated my upper body (arms/back) with enough sexiness. This dress did it all. I felt amazing, beautiful, and sexy. I was tempted to buy it but could not imagine myself wearing it again. Some dresses are so epic, they only need to be worn once:). If you're considering, just get it. And the fit was perfect. I do have a smaller waist and am a pear shape so if you are more apple, I would size up because there is no real give in the waist area.

Wasn’t sure about all the folds, but this style looked unique to me. Glad I chose to rent it and it fit great after I sized up! Loved the color and I got a lot of compliments on it when I wore it to a friend’s wedding. 

This dress was absolute perfection! Perfect for a beachside wedding with the scallops giving mermaid vibes.

This one is for the girls! The color is unbelievable and the construction is gorgeous! I got so many compliments. Two things to know: One, the ruffles at the top didn't stay up the way I would like, so either be prepared to adjust through your event or use a little strategic fashion tape. Two, it's tight on the ribcage - recommend sizing up - and the corset boning may be poky if you're sitting a lot. It's a better dress for standing. 

I wore this to a gala event. It was super comfortable and a show stopper. I felt like a celebrity in this dress

I was extremely lucky that this zipped - that being said, once on this was jaw-dropping. 10/10 for a formal affair 

So never got to wear cause description says blue but this dress is green. Like green that matches the bridesmaids dresses for the wedding that I was going to. But this dress was beautiful. New with tags which breaks my heart cause I know someone eventually is going to throw it in washing machine and ruin it for future renters. Horrible pic but did not want to take off even though I just touched it a couple times and twirled but honestly worth the 80$ rental to twirl

If you have a larger ribcage this may be a little tight, and the ruffles on the bodice can easily get flipped down. But overall stunning option & got lots of compliments! 

This dress was outstanding, it was snug around the waist, which meant it didn’t move all night. No bra needed. I will say my second size the front of the bodice was very floppy and wouldn’t have stayed up if I had needed that size. Not sure how that could’ve been fixed? 

Such a fun dress, stayed up all night and complimets galore. Exactly the type of dress you want to rent for a dressy wedding 

Beautiful color and unique design. Stand out dress without being too loud.

Had to do some temp alterations to make it a bit smaller around the chest, but otherwise dress was perfect. Length on me was about at the ankles for the front and then an inch or so on the ground in the back.

Received so many compliments, was so comfortable and fun! Would size up for back up for back up size. 

Dress was stunning and fit only slightly small, maybe size up one size.  The ruffles at the top flop down so use double sided body tape to secure so dress looks correct. If not ruffles flip over and underside is black. 

If you have a large bust, I would size up! So fun and comfortable to wear. 

This dress is stunning. Did need to stream a little after arrival. It has plenty of chest room, so great if you’re busy! Color is beautiful.

The waist gives no grace at all, so if you have a thicker waist, size up. 

I couldn’t find a dress I wanted to wear on a valentines date with my husband. Decided to look at rtr and found this gem. We had so much fun we only took one photo and unfortunately it’s dark and I have my coat on. But I wanted something to wear with my cowgirl boots and it looked so good! My only 2 complaints are if you’re busty I’d not only go 1 size up like everyone said but 2 sizes up for your backup. I am 36C and needed a 10. I ordered a 6 and an 8. It still fit but was extremely snug. Then my second complaint is minor but the size 8 came in a little messed up on the ruffles. It came undone and kept falling down. I put a safety pin to hold it up. 

Obsessed with the color and frills on this dress. Wore to a black tie wedding and the length was perfect. Came straight out of the suitcase with very few wrinkles thanks to the micro pleats!

So cute and fun! Good length if you’re on the shorter side and needing a midi/ full length dress

Beautiful fabric and color, flattering fit, stayed up all night no issues. The only thing is that the ruffles/layers were pretty fussy and needed a good amount of double-sided tape that needed some tending throughout the night.

I loved this dress for a black tie wedding. The zipper gave us a lot of issues, but after some fighting with it, we finally got it zipped up. I received so many compliments! To note on sizing: I’m two weeks postpartum from giving birth, so I sized way up to fit my current body (usually a 4, but I fit in the 10). The only part of the dress that was too small was the bust, but I’m currently breastfeeding so my measurements are wonky.

Wore for a fall beach wedding .. so many compliments! 10/10! 

Compliments all night. Really fun to wear to woodland creature theme gala. Could not wear/did not really need strapless bra. Really tight around bust band-needed help zipping so perhaps size up? The top was a little loose so expect cleavage or use tape. It’s a little short so good for dancing although I didn’t test that out. Overall, really fun rental!!!! 

Got lots of compliments in this dress at a BRO wedding. RTR was out of my size when I reserved the dress so I wore a 2 but was able to pin it in the bust so it fit better and you could barely tell. I’m 5’1” so the dress hit the floor in the back with 3 inch heels but it worked bc the wedding was black tie. 

The minute I saw this dress on RTR, I knew I had to find an occasion to wear it! I almost never use reserve, but when an event arose that was worthy, I did for this one. Because of the reviews saying it ran very small, I erred on the side of ordering a 6 and backup of 8. I wore the 6, but did have to pin the bodice right in the middle of my chest to keep it from gaping. But because of the pleated “leaves”, it was completely imperceptible. I really enjoyed wearing this and felt beautiful. It did dust the floor a little at the back due to my height. But it wasn’t a problem. Just had to make sure I lifted the skirt when necessary. 

Received tons of compliments on this dress the whole night. Similar to other reviews, if you’re between sizes, size up for the backup size. I ended up going with my original size because the boobs in the next size up were too big. The band around the waist was a little snug in my original size but it was only for a night! This dress doesn’t have pockets. 

Multiple people at my spouses work function stopped me to tell me how much they loved this dress and I couldn’t agree more. It’s gorgeous, unique, and really stood out from the crowd.

The zipper was a little sticky, so it took me a bit to get it on, but once it was zipped, the dress was surprisingly comfortable. I’m usually wary of strapless styles, but this one stayed perfectly in place with no slipping or worries about a wardrobe malfunction. The color is vibrant and eye-catching (especially flattering for my fellow deep autumns!).

I honestly wish I didn’t have to return it—I’d wear this dress again and again if I could

First things first: SIZE UP for fuller bust and/or wide rib cage! I took my TTS size at first but could not zip over a full bust and stressed over getting the correct size in time. You’ll be glad you sized up first!

This is probably the best dress I’ve rented from RTR. Fabulous from the moment I zipped it on. I felt like an elegant leafy vegetable for a fall wedding though I’m sure if I’d worn this in the spring/summer I would have paired with more oceanic accessories. The ruffles can be a little floppy and I had to adjust periodically for photos—I considered fashion tape but liked the movement without. Speaking of movement: excellent twirl factor. Very swishy and fun.

Short girls, you can definitely pull it off and ensure it doesn’t drag, just wear your comfiest tall heels—I’m 5’1” and with shoes that added 4” of height the back tip just made it off the floor.

The zipper in my particular dress was also finicky and stuck but nothing that a quick google couldn’t help fix. All in all a big A+ rental!

I LOVED this dress and so did everyone too. I am a M/L on top and a L/12 in bottoms, and the 12 worked perfectly for me. I could see if you carry more weight in your chest/stomach, needing to size up. 

My only complaint is that the back of the ruffles are black and not the same color as the front. So I had to keep adjusting them. Fashion tape is a good idea to keep things in place. 

Easy to travel with as well.

This dress fit really well and I’d say it’s true to size. The zipper was a little difficult because of the extra structure that you have to zip through to get it up, but it once zipped, it fit.  Even trying to zip it while it’s on a hanger can be challenging — lots of zipper resistance. For reference: in addition to the measurements in my fit profile, my waist currently = 29” and hips = 36.5”.

I wore a size 4 but the size 6 also fit (the 6 was a bit too loose for my comfort in the chest and would need a double-sided sticky bra to make it feel secure for me).

Following a really large dinner, the size 4 did start to feel a little tight due to the extra structured ribbing in the waist.  So I went back to the room and changed to the 6 for the remainder of the evening.  It was nice having the back up option, but I feel like it was my fault for overeating and choosing some things that historically don’t sit well with my stomach. So it was a Win/win for having both sizes.  If I had to do it again though, I’d still order the size 4.

I received tons of compliments. Even had some of the staff pulling me aside and whispering how much they loved it.  Would absolutely rent again!


The zipper truly is difficult to get up, but it is a beautiful dress. It took three friends to work the zipper. I am glad I sized up. Lots of compliments.

Beautiful dress BUT it was a bit too tight in my upper waist, where it held the dress up.  The size 4 was way too tight, I couldn't even zipper it & it was a struggle with the size 6! My bra size is a 34 DD so I think the size 8 would of been falling down.  It was very comfortable, lightweight & gorgeous color!  Wore it with black strappy heals so I could wear a black shawl & purse. 

This is a gorgeous dress and gorgeous material. The top was a little bit tight, but I managed to make it work.

I got SO many compliments on this dress, for good reason! Stunning! Some of the top flaps weren't staying up on their own, so I used some fashion tape. The rib cage is tight! I'm normally a 2 but a 4 fit perfectly. I'm small chested, too -- can't imagine this would be too comfortable on larger chests

Wore this for a garden party and felt like a flower! The color was perfection (I’m a classic Autumn iykyk) and the fit was great. 

Took away one star because the zipper was SO difficult. It took three people to get it to finally zip all the way up. I thought it was a size issue so we put on the bigger size dress but had the same problem, so definitely a flaw with the zippers. 

Very pretty but didn't like how the top flaps kept flopping down, and also it's SUPER tight around the waist/ribs.

The zipper is extremely stiff. I couldn’t even zip it myself or with help and ended up not being able to wear the dress. It’s a shame because it is pretty but the zipper needs to be fixed.

Beautiful dress & lots of compliments.  I’m normally a size 4 although I ordered an 8 due to the many reviews I read (small in waist/big in chest).  I wish I ordered a 6 as it may have fit better around the chest. 

Fit a little tight in the rib cage.  Usually wear a size 6, and the 6 looked fine on. But got an 8 to try as well and ended up wearing that because it was more comfortable. If you’re on the fence, I would size up.

Beautiful dress, great teal color. Could have been made better. The layers around the bust don’t stand up like the photos. They would need to be starched or reinforced somehow. Bust was huge! Even with a push up bra I would have needed to stuff it to fill it out. No built in cups or reinforcement either. Unfortunately didn’t work for me. The 10 might have fit better, this was a 12. 

I selected this dress because it was different with a gorgeous jewel tone to it. I liked how it was geometrical and the way that it was cut. 

I would say overall the dress fits small, but the hardest part of the dress is getting into it.

It took my husband and my sister to zip me up into this and it was very difficult. I had plenty of room in the dress, but the zipper was a nightmare. It took 15 minutes to get me into the dress after a ton of pulling and at one point, I thought they were going after cut me out of it. 

Once I was into it, I did get compliments on the dress all night. It wasnt my favorite rental, but pretty once on.

Truly beautiful dress and I received so many compliments. BUTm, there was basically no pleating in the bottoms layer. This is a tough style to have for a rental, especially when RTR doesn't always ship things very neatly. My assumption is the dress has been steamed and lost some of the pleating unfortunately. That said, it's still a beautiful dress. I'm usually a 2 or 4 in dresses and the 2 fit perfectly. I am smaller through the waist and back though so if you're shaped differently, it might be better to size up.

Side zipper is hard to get up. The fabric falls after wearing for a while. A lot of compliments but recommend bringing something to wear over top.

Gorgeous color and material. Ended up wearing another option as I felt the top was too poofy for my taste.  

So glad I selected this dress! It’s a bit darker than I usually go with but for January it worked so well. I rarely see a dark teal and it was gorgeous. I am usually a 4 or 6 and due to my chest and rib cage being smaller and the 4 fit best (even with a strapless bra). The zipper was tough due to the structure but I just took it slow. The material is so soft and the flow was great. I received alot of compliments. 

This gown is very sculptural and the color and material are very sumptuous. And I’m sure on some folks it would be fantastic. But I think I may be a little too petite/short because it just felt like I was wearing very fancy lettuce.

Loved the gorgeous emerald color. Chest runs large in my case, had to add a tight belt to keep it up, but it kept slipping lightly still due to the material texture. But really beautiful dress.

Size up for sure! Also you will need to steam it before wearing. Overall loved it and got several compliments.
