I can't agree with anything negative reviewers might say about this purse. The shape is just as shown, the color is warm and goes with so many outfits, and the side zipper to access your wallet/contents is convenient. I tucked the backpack straps into the purse for a majority of the month, but this past week decided to experiment  with the backpack option. I loved this too. Comfortable and versatile, this purse made my whole RTR Update this month ideal! I'm going to rent this style again in another color!!

I was on crutches for two months and needed a bag that would look like an adult carries it, since I am a professor, but also that wouldn't bang up against my crutches. This bag is high-quality leather, sturdy, and the side zipper is so SO great! I could put my office keys in there and just unzip the side without having to fiddle around with the bag and drop my crutches. It was so convenient, and made me feel dignified at a time when I was feeling vulnerable hobbling around with a fractured leg. The only con is that my giant iPad Pro would not fit all the way--I couldn't get the top zipped with that in there. But if I felt safe enough to leave the bag unzipped it fit, along with my wallet, a bottle of water, and keys and makeup and all that jazz. Really fantastic bag.

This is a nice bag that just fits my Mac Air so that's good. The top handle makes it hard to put things inside and get them out. The backpack straps are a little too wide set to sit properly.  The bag still looks so great so I'll carry it for the rest of the week. Wouldn't buy but nice to rent.

I LOVED this bag!! It is amazing you can fit so much in here I highly recommend it for vacation but also it's great for an alternative to a work bag. I used this bag on my vacation overseas and was stopped at airport security and they asked to see my bag and had to wipe it down to test for drugs or bombs? idk I didn't have anything with me of course but I was so nervous that no one would understand that I rented this bag and I have no idea what was in it before I got it. Just something I totally didn't think about when renting it for my vacation. Luckily I had no issues just a funny story to tell afterward haha 

I love this bag I just wish RTR also had the larger size of this style as this one doesn't quite fit my laptop. It's even a bit of a squeeze with a cardigan + umbrella. 

this purse was so cute and still big enough for my stuff and anything my kids might add.  The best part was that when I needed my hands for all my kids I could wear it as a backpack and it was still cute. Very tempted to purchase this purse.

Fits my laptop, gym clothes, book, lunch, and a bottle of wine :) Loved being able to switch between shoulder and backpack, especially on subways where you constantly have to readjust your bag. I found the backpack straps worked better when the bag was full. Incredible color. Wish I didn't have to see it leave. 

Beautiful color and great quality. Every time I wore this: weekends, dates, to work, etc. i got compliments from someone. 

I took this bag on a trip to France, and it was exactly what I was looking for. Great to wear as a backpack, but also easy to slip over your shoulder. Fits all your stuff plus a bottle of water, and is very secure for walking around busy cities and riding the metro. The straps have great woven details and the dark purple color is beautiful and goes with everything. Loved this bag. 

Straps are not adjustable so the bag hangs low. Not big enough for a laptop. Cute, but I didn't wear this out. Glad I could try it out at home because I have unlimited!

I ordered this for work for a few weeks and it was such a great bag!! Beautiful leather, gorgeous color, lots and lots of room. I was able to get my yoga gear in here, plus notebooks for work, a cosmetics bag, and my wallet without it being bulky. 

This bag was great for my winter trip. It was large enough to hold winter gear while inside and perfect for walking the streets of downtown. I also love that it was able to be converted into a regular purse by tucking the backpack straps into the bag. The side zipper made it easy to access item inside when on the go.

I didn't love wearing this as a backpack - the straps would slip off my shoulders too easily, but I liked carrying it as a purse and didn't find that the backpack straps got in the way at all.  Roomy inside and a fun color.  

I was not personally crazy about the back pack style, but the bag was of high quality and I am pretty sure it was brand new when I received it.  the arm strap was not very long, so plan to actually wear this as the back pack if you reserve it.  

The bag itself was lovely but I found the steps not be very functional for me

Loved the look of this bag on line, but it was just stiff and not easy to carry.  It felt awkward to carry with one backpack strap.  I used it for a couple of days, hoping it would soften up but ended up sending it back.  High quality materials though!


It isn't truly a backpack.  It would be a great bag without the straps that "make it a backpack" however, in my opinion a backpack doesn't need a top strap, maybe just a loop.  I may also have been the first to get this but it was very stiff.  I felt a bit like a kindergartener on my first day of school, with a hard square backpack.  

I wanted to buy this purse in black because it seemed versatile . I took it on vacation and I have to say that the straps are always twisted and falling off my shoulders. I ended up just carrying it over one shoulder the entire time.

I'm glad I rented this before I bought it !
