Perfect for a day in Salem or for work/dinner! If you’re short, the length does put the hips at a weird place that kind of bunches together due to how the dress is cut— but overall still a really chic and classy look.

This was the perfect black dress for my Halloween costume as a nun. It fit very comfortably. The fabric was super silky and soft so it draped over the body well. As other reviews noted, there is a seam on the side of the leg split that nipples up. It wasn’t super noticeable though. This would be a great dress for a work event as well. The slit on the side is sexy but not too high to be inappropriate IMO.

Tip / fit: no stretch in chest, I had to skip a bra

Review: wore for a Halloween dinner and loved it

i was conflicted about this dress! i ordered my regular size (6) and a size up (8) because there were reviews that the chest wasn’t designed for a full bust, which i did find to be the case. the 6 fit everywhere better, but the chest was way too tight. the elastic on the sleeves was also all stretched out. i went with the 8 which was looser but looked better overall. i was concerned with the lumpy side seams, but some steaming made it less noticeable. overall the dress was pretty and comfortable, but the sizing was strange and i wouldn’t be happy about paying retail for the quality. 

I did not wear this, the side zipper seam is bumpy. That was just below my hip and was only going on at one side so it made my whole silhouette look odd. I guess it would be fine if it was tight fitting.

This hit the curves in the best ways possible. I'm a 12-14 with wider hips and this was surprisingly a+. Was able to dance freely and still have room to breathe.

This dress is so classy and also breathable to wear for work. 

Was a tiny bit tight in the shoulders/chest area 

  Sized down. Someone had this hemmed prior to me wearing it. It runs large. I added a belt.

Great fit conservative with a little sass the lace details and slit made this dress feel sexy

Wore a size 10 which was comfortable with some room. 

I usually wear a 12 but took advice from others and ordered the 10. It fit perfectly! Wore to a wedding got tons of compliments! 

I thought this dress will show all my imperfections since is lightweight and shiny, but that wasn’t the case. Made me feel like a million bucks

Loved loved this dress. Very vintage and feminine feel. Would definitely rent this one again. 

This dress is the most perfect black dress. It had it all- sexy, classy, chic, high fashion etc etc. I wore it to perform at a baptism and it was comfortable and perfect. I wish I could keep it! Fits very tts.

The dress is really versatile. It is easily dressed up or down. Also the material is very comfortable and pretty. It is a light silk so not very good for cold weather. 

This dress was a dream - really let me channel my inner Wednesday Addams! A little loose in the hips area but loved the overall look

this wasn’t form-fitting but the fabric was so soft & quality was great
