Both the size 4 and 6 fit well, but I felt more comfortable in the 6.  I loved that I could still wear a strapless bra even with the crisscross back of the dress.  The gold snap at the neck it a genius touch!  Only con I have with the dress is regarding the side zipper.  There is no hook to go with the zipper and I noticed a few times that the zipper was unzipping a bit.  Definitely not a reason to not rent the dress, but something to be mindful of.  All in all my favorite RTR dress so far!

I loved this dress online and it was even better in person.  I usually wear either a 2 or 4 in dresses and the 2 fit like a glove so I never tried in the 4.  The colors are gorgeous in person and it has just the right amount of sparkle.  The whole process was easy - I will definitely use RTW again.

Dress was a perfect fit and easy to wear. The color and material was nice, too. I wore a sticky bra under. 

I am typically a 4 in dress size which is what I ordered and it fit perfectly!!

I wore a 4 and am usually between a 4 and 6.. wear a racerback bra! Very cute party dress that accentuates your waist!

I wore this to a daytime wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The fit was very true to size and the dress was super comfortable. The orange band on the waist is very flattering and the dress has a little stiffness too it so it doesn't fly up on you on the dance floor. The material is think enough and sturdy enough that I did not need to wear a bra with it and did not feel strange about it! Great dress overall!

This dress is stylish & awesome!  The cut was very flattering and it was very comfortable to dance the night away in!  The material is very forgiving, kind of a lightweight brocade feel, so it did not cling to any of my problem areas.  The style was sexy enough for my fancy party, but I also thought it was modest & classy enough to wear for a wedding or dressy work event.   I wore the 12 because the second size 10 was not available, it was a tad too big for me, but I still felt really great in it. 

I cannot tell you how many compliments I got on this dress.  RTR was so wonderful and easy to work with, I cannot wait to rent again!  

I had the 4 at Derby - the zipper broke on me and I had to squeeze in the 2- (the 4 wasn't too small, but the hanger hooks kept catching in it- I told them the dress had an issue when I returned it- I sure hope you didn't get that one- sorry

I would have worn the size 4, but the zipper was broken when it arrived. Luckily the size 6 fit well, also. The colors of this dress are beautiful and it was very comfortable. Lots of compliments!

I wore this to a graduation. The material is quality and has a little shimmer to it. The color and cut is beautiful!

The fabric has absolutely no give to it so I wore my larger back up size.  Once the waist fit better, the dress was super comfortable and did not require any adjusting throughout the afternoon.  The cut is very flattering if you want to show off your arms, but not have to suck in all night long.  The color is beautiful and I think very appropriate for spring/summer.  

The dress was tight across my rib cage and made it a little bit difficult to breathe or sit, but was fine for a party.  Thick fabric and shimmer made this appropriate for my December birthday party, I was worried it would be too summery-y.

Fit was true to size. The zipper needed to be pulled up slowly for all the teeth to align and stay together. But was fine once zipped up slowly. I am now a serious fan of Rent The Runway! Great experience in every capacity.

I received this as a back up when my original selection was no longer available. The dress is cute, but nothing special. It was so tight in the chest though that I could not wear a bra. It definitely gives you a defined waist and more room in the skirt. It may be a great option for someone with a smaller chest.

Overall I definitely liked this dress.  I could've worn the 4 but I opted for the 6 because it was a little tight fitting around the chest.  I did wish that the dress had a clip at the top of the zipper because I noticed during the day that sometimes the zipper would come undone a little.  I wore a sticky bra with it, I could've worn a strapless bra; however it did show slightly so I opted to use the backless bra.  I got lots of comments on the dress and it fit very well.  

Fit was great.  However, the side zipper wouldn't lock, and several times I had to keep zipping it up, which was annoying.  Initially, I wore it with a rhinestone bracelet, but it kept catching on the brocade fibers, so I had to ditch the bracelet, and trim the snagged threads.  This dress looked great with dangly earrings, and gold strappy sandals. I received several compliments on the dress.

I wore it with a strapless bra, and to prevent it from showing in the back, I used a frog-backed rhinestone pin to the dress/bra.  I suppose fabric tape would work, too.

Dress was worn to a rehearsal dinner, then out on the town afterwards. So comfortable and felt great during dinner and dancing. Nicely structured and did not crease. Many complements all night!

We rented both the 4 and the 6.  The 4 fit, but it was a little short.  The 6 was a more comfortable length and had a little more room for dancing and eating in the waist.  We did need a strapless bra, but this dress was amazing.  This was our first experience with RTR and it was great!

This was a back up to the back ups. Long story, but I couldn't be happier. The fit was true to size, and it was comfortable even in the July heat. I also wore the Kendra Scott Lucca bangles in gold. 

Loved wearing this dress! The fit was perfect - didn't feel too short, and waist and chest couldn't be better suited for me. The fabric is thick so it hangs well and you don't have to worry about wrinkles. Wore it to an outdoor summer wedding and indoor reception and I really think that thinner fabric that sticks to you could have been worse in the heat than this dress was. The gold shimmery thread in the fabric made it feel really fun and it was super easy to accessorize with earrings and a bracelet. I really liked the criss-cross and small keyhole detailing in the back, too. The zipper slipped about an inch or so when I was moving around, but it really wasn't a problem. Wore with a strapless bra and had no problems with it showing in the back. Would rent again!

I've been staring at this dress since I joined RTR. Gorgeous color and love the metallic sheen!  The 4 fit as well but was a little snug at the waist.  The 6 was perfect.

It fit great. the colors were beautiful. Received lots of compliments. I wore a size 6. I'm 5'5" and about 137lbs.  The material was a little itchy, but loved the dress. 

I had a work party to attend. Details regarding appropriate dress attire were vague. This dress was easy to dress up or down. When it was determined it was a "casual" evening, I dressed down with wedge sandals. The dress is very comfortable. I wore a strapless sticky bra. I would think even a racing back bra might not be discreet enough to be hidden in the back. There is a lovely gold button at the back of the neck, which is a nice detail. The size 8 fit, but was not as comfortable lengthwise. 

I loved wearing this dress, I didn't get a great photo of the dress itself, but it fits true to size and is very comfortable. I wore it with gold accents and it pulled together very nicely.   

It is comfortable and really cute! I got a lot of compliments on it. It does run a bit large so I would recommend going a size down. 


Great dress. I wore it to a rehearsal dinner/party.  I actually wore it without a bra because it  fit perfectly on top and didn't see necessary.  I got a lot of compliments on the style, color, etc.

This dress was perfect for an afternoon wedding.  Great material, comfortable, does not wrinkle. Others have mentioned wearing a racer back bra - I couldn't make that work, had to wear strapless.  The fabric around the neck and over the shoulders isn't wide enough to cover straps.  

I originally ordered a 6 with a back up size 4.  Unfortunately the 6 was too tight so I sent an e-mail at 10PM at night and by 8:30AM the next day the size 8 was being overnighted to me.  It arrived and fit perfectly. I loved this dress!  It was easy to wear, the material has some stiffness to it so you are never adjusting it.  The color is vibrant and perfect for a summer event but could probably work at other times too.  I wore a strapless bra and nude open toed shoes.  I wore it to a party and danced all night.  I felt comfortable all night which is the most important thing to me. Loved it but most of all I really appreciated the awesome customer service RTR provided.  I would definitely rent this dress again.

Very flattering.  Very versatile.  Could be worn at just about any event...dressy or more casual.  Gold threading made it a little dressy for graduation so I wore an orange cardigan to dress it down.  

The dress I had ordered was not in stock, so I was sent this dress as a replacement and it was great! I wore it to a rehearsal dinner and it was perfect. 

Perfect dress for a bridal shower! Loved the sparkles on the dress - made the outfit more glamorous. Got lots of compliments! The color was very pretty!

If you have a large bust, size up in this dress. I ordered my normal size 8 and it was way too tight for me to wear (though I briefly considered not breathing all night). Really cute though. The dots are metallic thread. 

Loved the pattern and neckline- liked the open back detail.
Skirt is full but fitted top.

This dress was wonderful - can work for a summer dress or Christmas season dress. The fabric was good quality and the size 4 fit perfectly.   Unfortunately the zipper on mine was broken but the RTR customer service quickly overnighted me another dress which was lovely.  Feel confident renting from RTR.
