I wore this dress as a costume for Halloween. It was the perfect Morticia dress. I sized up to the L ultimately because the opaque layer was pretty short on my frame. The medium fit better but I have long legs - if you’re tall I recommend ordering a size up as an option! I also added black tights to make it darker for the costume but it was super pretty as is. 

An incredibly comfortable dress that got compliments all night long!

I read other reviews saying this dress runs big but I found that to be untrue for me at least. I rented the medium and large and couldn’t even zip the medium. Was still flattering and received a lot of compliments but I wouldn’t rent it again

Wore to a Halloween party.  Beautiful dress, a little long but ok since it was Halloween.  I’m 4’11 and rented an XS petite.  

This dress is very comfortable. I sized up because it was a better fit in the bust area. It is low cut so I had a bra that was able to help conceal some cleavage. 
This dress is both sexy and sophisticated!


This one is true to size. I rented it for a black tie event and was really excited for it to arrive, but when I put it on I really didn't feel anything special. It just felt meh on my body. Really beautifully made though, would consider renting again for a more casual event 

This dress was everything. The fit was amazing - there was no back up size available for the date that I needed. I took a risk and was beyond impressed with how it fit me (like a glove!). The lace is gorgeous - not super delicate, and didn't snag on anything. The front of the dress is pretty low cut and there is a tiny button to allow more cleavage but I didn't use that. I did need to wear with a pretty low-cut bra so that it wouldn't show. I was comfortable and felt confident all night. 

Got compliments all night for this gown. I'm tall (5''8/144 lbs); I wore 4 inch heels which made my legs look really long in the sheer bottom half..
I'd recommend a spanx style undergarment

Absolutely stunning dress, the photos do not do it justice. The least detailing is exquisite and it is super flattering, especially I think for a taller, thinner frame.

Rented for Halloween to be a vampire. It was perfect. 

This dress was flattering in all the right places. The only time I questioned the cleavage was at the church for the ceremony. Nothing a cardigan couldn't fix. Perfect for the reception. Was able to dance all night. Would rent again! 

I'm usually a size 4 in most things (and could've done a 4 in this dress) but I sized up based on other reviews. Glad I did because I think the dress was more comfortable as a result. The skirt underneath did come up pretty high when I sat, but the overlay kept things appropriate. It's very long, too, which I liked and it was totally manageable. While there are definitely some goth vibes going, I felt elegant in this dress. 

This dress is beautiful! Very sleek and elegant! I wore it to a formal winter wedding and got so many compliments! There is a little room in the hips, so good for dancing and moving around. Worked well with 6 in heels. 

I wore spanx and it helped a lot, but overall it's a great fit. Lace wasn't itchy at all - comfortable! It does run a bit long - I'm 5'5" and wore 3" heels and the dress was barely above the floor. It really looks dope in person and perfect for the event (a Halloween wedding). 

*Note! There is a button that's kinda hard to find in the chest that helps with the cleavage! I didn't see it at first and thought I would need tape and stuff...the button makes it perfect, so just know it's there!

I rented this dress for Halloween. I'm usually a US 4/6 (34-28-38), and rented the SR. It was definitely snug, but not uncomfortably tight. I'm 5'8, and it was right at my ankles. I was wearing flats anyway, so this didn't bother me. The lace and fabric are very light. The part around my hips (looks like a black miniskirt) did sit a little short on me when I sat down. I thought it was perfect for the occasion. I added the corset belt & necklace. Perfect for a gothic bride. 

Too wide in the shoulders! Wish I could've made it work for Halloween. It's long at 5'3 but with heels I would've been fine, but it looked like I had shoulder pads even though there were none!

It fit well through the hips and arms, but was a little big/loose through the waist. I'm 5'10" and it was plenty long. Able to sit in and and move around pretty well.

The dress was beautiful and it was a tough toss up between this one and another. Ultimately, I loved a different one more. Fit well

This is one of those dresses I wasn't sure about but tried and loved it.  Very flattering!  Was complemented all night on it.  The shorter layer is pretty short and hit me mid thigh. Sleeves were great and not too tight (sometimes I find lace sleeves hard to wear.)

Loved this dress. However the small regular fit me better but it was to short. The medium regular was a little loose in places but the length was perfect. 

The dress is beautiful on. Fitted but not suffocating, it was very comfortable also in the fact you can wear a regular bra.  It is a long gown.  I am 5'8 and wore heels, it still touched the ground.  I prefer long you just have to be careful not to get a heel caught in the lace.  Loved my first experience with Rent the Runway!  Wore this to a black tie affair.  I wore the small size, am 5'8, 140 - if that helps for reference.

Glad I got the two sizes. I needed the large. Also probably would have asked for tall next time. Overall very happy with the dress

This dress fit me great and is good if you have a little bit of curves. Wore it to a work holiday party and I stood out just enough. I'm 5'7" and I was able to wear the dress with 3" heels and it did not drag. If you are shorter this dress is going to be too long. 

Next time I would wear a different bra. The one I wore did show I the picture and would shove when I bent over. But I needed the bra to give me some additional cleavage look 

I'm 6' tall and this dress was perfect length. I wore 2.5" heeled boots and it was floor length. Unfortunately I didn't take any better photos. It fits close to the body. It was comfortable and sexy. I got many compliments  "haute couture witch" vibes. I wore this to a witches dinner party on Samhain Oct 31. 

Stunning dress but don't bother renting unless you're at least 5'7" AND willing to wear heels. I'm wearing 5" heels in these photos & it's still 4" too long. Also the lace is very staticky & every piece of lint or hair stuck to it making it necessary to go over it several times with tape. Even with all that, I'd still wear it if I was tall enough. Tall girls - this one's for you!

This dress is a stunner. It fits perfectly. I received loads of compliments. It will be perfect for the upcoming holidays and festivities 💕
