The fit is perfect. I am 5’4 125lbs with a size 28 D chest. It was a modest length. I was worried since I had my baby 7 weeks ago that this dress would not fit my new body the way I wanted it to but it did not disappoint. Super comfy in the hot months of summer in the south. I wore this for a day out in Charleston. 

Very cute. Was a little big but I made it work. The tie was a little confusing at first but I realized one side wraps around from inside the dress and the other other wraps around from outside the dress. 

Love love love this dress. It is definitely at the top of my favorite rentals list. My only regret is that I didn't rent it earlier in the summer. Not gonna lie, that collar gave me pause but I finally decided to rent it and give it a whirl. So glad I did! It's fun, a little sexy and flirty but also has a bit of a classic look. I wore it with sticky boobs that were on their last leg but the way the top fit I still felt secure. Oh yeah and it has amazingly large pockets. Great fit, great rental!

Second time renting it.  The size small fit better than the extra small.  I probably could have fit a medium too but I like the fit of the small on me.  So maybe size up if you don't like a tight fit.  I didn't have trouble with the waist band at all, as other reviewers suggested.   Easy to wear and a cute design makes dress a staple.  Will most likely rent again.

Of course I loved this dress! My fiancé almost didn't let me wear it because he didn't like the ruffles...turned out to be his favorite when it was on!

This is super feminine and sweet. Kind of "southern belle-ish". There is alot of fabric. It's heavier than I expected. Fits true to size. I got a ton of compliments. My husband wanted me to purchase it. I gave it 4 stars because I wasn't that in love with it. I thought the wrap was strange, the collar was uncomfortable, and some weird pockets at the bottom.  But for a day-to-day it was a hit! 

Loved this dress. Backless but still conservative and super flattering. The belt is tricky to figure out but I eventually got it to work and it was a comfortable and cute dress for my high school reunion. 

It is backless so no bra and it's very roomy

Best dress ever! Comfortable and it's so well made. True to size. This dress also has POCKETS.

Loved this comfortable weekend dress that I wore to the beach for vacation but it was a bit large and also hard to put on.

This dress is super cute on the model and on hanger but once you put it on the fit is really weird. I noticed that for Alexis dresses and romper have a weird fit. It's kinda big/loose on the waist line but the halter neck part pulls pretty tight on your necklace as if my torso is too long for this dress. The tie at the waist creates this weird open gap and when you tie it makes me look pregnant. I wanted to love it but didn't work out. 

Love this dress so much! It's a little tight around the waist, but flairs out so it's forgiving in the stomach area! Very comfortable!

I absolutely fell in love with this dress. I would have bought it if I didn't already have a collection of similar dresses. But honestly I'm still having separation anxiety after sending it back. This picture does not do it justice, the collar and details are exceptional. The fabric was extremely high quality. And the fit was very comfortable. I wore this for Easter and it was comfy enough for the day. 

Fits like a small.  Xs would have fit too. So so so cute and flattering! 

Had to get a large so it was a little big. It was cute but came wrinkled and it was hard to keep it straight. Got lots of compliments. 

I loved wearing this! I was afraid from some of the pictures the dress appeared to have too much fabric, but I actually loved it on. The back is so pretty I wanted to wear it again the next day! It fit, but an XS probably would have fit me a little better since  there seemed to be a little gapping in the front. Would rent again! 

Rented this for my honeymoon and wore to some wineries in Chianti. Perfect summer dress for the day. Thicker fabric so it hangs slightly heavy. Neck detail is unique and fun. 

This dress is HUGE IN THE CHEST!! So large that I didn't really feel comfortable wearing it. I also didn't feel that the hook and eye closures were very secure. It also has pockets on the chest which are a really odd detail. Wouldn't rent again. 

Great dress for every day wear or casual events. Easy to wear. Doesn't wrinkle. Pockets are always appreciated! Nubra works well as a regular bra can't be worn bc backless. Easy to adjust to your size with wrap around tie belt. I usually wear a 2 or 4 and the small was perfect. 

Loved the stress, received many compliments from friends and complete strangers. Comfortable, special, will rent again!

Super cute & fun dress, material is super thick but it's still pretty airy because it's backless 

Although the dress has unique features it was too big and I couldn't wear it without a shirt underneath. I was planning on wearing to a winery but settled for wearing to work. There are several things that are very odd about the construction of this piece. It was was lower in the front than on the model so that was a problem. The front has hook & eye closures so that added to the revealing nature of this dress. The tie thing was weird and I'm still not sure if I got it figured out. Definitely not my favorite and it was a pain to "maintain" all day. 

Fits really well, very flattering. I love it so much I don't even care that my back is exposed - though that's normally not my thing. Love that fabric too- very well made dress even though the button at the waist made me

Adorable dress! Exchanged the medium for the large due to the top being just a little too snug. You can't wear a bra but it is well lined. I wore for a 4th of July party. Love the ruffles and full skirt! 

I am a true 8 and this dress fit a little snug along the waist (as you can see), but it was perfect for Sunday brunch!  Nice and cool and comfy.  The pockets are deep and perfect for not carrying a purse :)

I loved the unique silhouette of this dress--the collar and the halter make it really stand out, however, you can dress it up or down with shoes and accessories. I received so many compliments and loved wearing the dress! Bonus: it has pockets! 
The dress I received was missing a button and a snap, but thankfully they were both in places that weren't noticeable. I have an hourglass figure, and I would say that the M had a smaller waist and the fabric has no give (I find this brand to run small in general.) Size up if you're in doubt! The tie belt is very flattering! And note that the front has hook and eye clasps from the waist up, which is not bad, but something I didn't notice in the pictures on the RTR site.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress. The material is heavy because of the high quality but not hot or clingy. The collar is everything. The wrap is flattering. The length is conservative but not matronly. I wore this to a BBQ with white sneakers, but I also tried it on with heels. The dress is versatile and gorgeous. I wore it with sticky boobs. I received compliments all day! I'll definitely be renting this again! 

I got tons of compliments on this dress! The back is fantastic, very dramatic, and perfect for super hot weather haha. The high neck would probably look better with an updo, it went up to my chin.

I love, love, love this style! It was so cute. The open back takes it to the next level. I would wear this for a date night or a casual wedding. I felt so comfortable in this style and can't wait to wear it again! I chose to wear this with no bra, but you can opt for sticky cups.
