This dress was super light and casual, but the ribbed material paired with its side slit dressed it up. Loved the bright color for late spring. 

The reviews are right, the slit in the side comes up really high. I knew that, so just wore out for a Saturday brunch. Loved the material and the quality. TTS as I think ALC always is. 

The slit really is VERY high and revealing -- probably my 30-week bump didn't help. Very comfortable and adorable when layered with thin leggings; otherwise might be best for a night out. 

Loved it! Form fitting dress. Slit on the side is pretty high, but makes the dress that much more fancy and appealing! Got many compliments! 

Very lightweight. Perfect for something casual although could be dressed up. I stuck my leg out so you can see how high the leg slit is! Loved!!

I think I like A.L.C dresses. This simple t-shirt dress is anything but simple. The fabric is soft and stretchy. The split is daring. I take risks with my clothing so the split was no problem for my 6' self,  but I can see how some might feel it is 'too high'. I would have bought it had it been a bit cheaper and considered keeping it the whole summer, but I know I'll definitely rent it again. 

This dress is super sexy. I originally rented it for work, but the slit is very high, so I opted to wear for a night out. I have a booty and this dress highlighted my curves fantastically. Trendy color as well! 

The fit is very flattering, the slit can be a little much of you got a lot going on in the "trunk" 

This was a great rental! Being 7 mos pregnant, it made me feel like I looked good! 

Loved this! The material is quite light so you can definitely wear in the spring. Fabric not most comfortable but also not scratchy - just doesn't make me feel like it would be worth it to buy for this price. However - loved the shape, the length, and the slit is fun. Maybe wouldn't wear to work but would wear on a weekend or even out to drinks. The small fit well and wasn't too form fitting. But because the material is rather thin, the dress in general is not as forgiving / flattering. Would love to find something similar to this at a lower price point !

Rented for NYE; I was only going to a house party so I wanted something comfy but also a big statement. I'm 5 months pregnant so this was the perfect option! Stretchy and comfortable but the slit added some flair. It did ride up and I was pulling it down a lot (not sure if that's the fabric or my big belly) but otherwise I liked it a lot! Great color 

I loved the color and style of this dress! The perfect combo of elegant yet casual. Made me feel awesome for our anniversary date night.The slit is really high so size up if you're tall and be comfortable with showing some skin. 

Lightweight knit fabric dress. Comfortable for summer months. If you're tall and have a butt be aware that the slit is pretty high and you might show a little side/under butt. got lots of compliments and would rent again! 

The slit on the side is SO high. I thought I'd be able to wear to work, but it went all the way up my thigh. Worked well for a day of wine tasting in Napa!

Love the color and lightweight fabric but the slit is high and curious if I can wear during day. Would tights help?

Loved the color and fit of this dress. Unfortunately the slit was much higher on me than the picture. I am not sure I could have pulled it off even on a night out, but definitely not during the day. I tried it with leggings rather than sending it straight back.

Stretchy, comfortable material in a flattering cut for curves.  Worm leggings underneath to be outdoors in the Fall as the slit is very high.  (The model is probably 5'10, but on this 5'4 woman, it was thigh high.). Would rent again.

I tried this on and instantly wished I hadn't . It was so comfortable and so cute but I just didn't feel confident enough to pull it off. Will be renting again when I drop a few pounds...

The slit goes very high up but love the fit & feel 

Wore this for two different events while pregnant! The skit was a little too high with a 7 month belly, but with a long cream sweater was perfect! 

All in all, cute dress but the slit runs very high and waist is not form fitting.

Unfortunately I couldn't wear this dress because it was too short snd the slit came up way too high. 

I am tall with long legs and this slit was bonkers high. Unwearable.

This dress grew on me the more I wore it, probably because I received so many compliments and so much attention. Do be warned: the slit is Very high. If you are wearing control top pantyhose, the control top part may show if you are not careful. I wore it with a belt and booties.

Looked great with a tan leather jacket! Good travel dress too.  Ran small! Usually a Small but got the Large for a looser fit. 

This dress shows basically everything, so be ready to have it be clingy to your body. I love that and think the vertical lines are flattering. It is a little dough on someone who has wide hips and a big butt though - the slit on the side is really short because of the way I'm built. Probably won't wear to work but will throw on a jean jacket and wear it to brunch. 

The con of this dress is the split up the side.  It comes up higher than the picture 

Fit was true to size. I'm a 6-8 and got a MR. The material is pretty stretchy but not tight. The dress is thin and shows underwear easily. It's also a lot shorter than I thought. I'm 5'0" and the dress didn't look too different from the model. All in all, not appropriate for work without the right undergarments but definitely cute for the weekend. Easy to wear and it looked cute with flat sandals. 

I loved the color and think it would be really lovely on the right person. However, for me, the slit came to an unflattering part of my thigh.  The lightweight material was good for a light spring garment but I also felt a little self-conscious in it. 

I'm usually a medium on top (sometimes small) and larger on the bottom. This dress is stretchy so I was able to put it on and it was comfortable and looked good except the slit went all the way up to about 2 inches below butt! Gonna try sizing up. The fabric is more of a rich brown than orange and it's a very lightweight knit so good for spring or fall weather (or year-round here in Los Angeles)!

Love the color,  fit is body skimming and comfortable.   The slit is high, so I chose to wear it with skinny jeans as a tunic.  

I love the material, color, and design. Unfortunately the side slit was very high up on my leg, and I felt I couldn't wear it during the day.
