This is one of my favorite dresses I've rented! It can be casual or dresses up so easily. The cut along the bottom is so unusual but super flattering. It was perfect for a chilly spring day.. I wore it to a daytime graduation with low booties. It's very comfortable, but I would say the bust is small. I'm small breasted and was fine just not wearing a bra, but I'd say if you're bigger than a C cup either size up or this might not work for you at all. No stretch really. Loved the color pattern and crimping along the botttom.
This dress is beautiful. Very well made and the layers on the skirt are super fun and flattering. It has a low scoop neckline that makes it a little bit sexy as well. The pleating on the dress I received was kind of flattened out - probably from being worn and cleaned so many times - but I still rate it a 5/5.
Neckline is definitely a little revealing so had to limit my movement, but I still loved the cut of this dress. It fit TTS for me, with the full back zipper a litter hard to get by myself. The asymmetrical hem was fun and easy to dress up with some white booties for a date night.
Loved wearing the dress on vacation. I wear a 10 normally and fit quite comfortably in an 8. It is very low cut, so if you are bigger in the best you will have a bit of tasteful cleavage. It does not stretch, it is pretty form fitted material.
You can wear this anywhere. The fabric is to die for. The front is definitely very low cut so I just put a bandeau over my regular bra. I have a relatively small chest - 34B - and it was fitted so if you're bustier you may want to size up.
Fit into the 2R and almost wore it but because I was going to a 15 course dinner opted for 4R which was just a little more comfortable. Would not have worked for larger busts but I felt comfortable and sexy in it and did not need to wear bra. Flowy and forgiving yet flattering. Loved it.
So many compliments. I have broad shoulders and arms and it still fit quite comfortably. This was a unique piece I work to both work and out for dinners and dates. Very comfortable.
Wore for an evening at the Warhol Museum and kept for birthday celebrations! It is pretty low cut with a wide neck which makes your chest look fairly broad.
Could go dressy or casual. Lots of room to breathe without looking like you're in a tent.
My sister actually ended up wearing this instead of me, but I'm reviewing it on her behalf because she LOVED it & looked great - she normally wears a size 4 (she's 5'9" and small chested but strong) and found it true to size!
Great dress! Wore it to dinner with friends. My girls were very perky in it which was a tad uncomfortable but hey, it's whatever.
Beautiful print, versatile enough for day or night. Running true to size, I'd recommend order one size up for backup. The fabric has no stretch to it and the shoulders and arms were slightly tight. If you're broader you may want to size up for backup. The bust still had room, but the scoop neckline is pretty dramatic. Easily can be worn with or without a bra. Waist and hips fit snug yet comfortably.
Stunning fabric and the movement and swish were delicious. Took one star off bc it's extremely low cut and a camisole was a must. I took this on a tropical vacation so wearing the cami made it hot so I didn't feel as breezy as I wanted to. Loved the layers. They probably made it less slimming but I didn't care!
Extremely low cut and can't wear a bra, but it was soft and fun to wear! Got some compliments!
I have broad shoulders and this fit perfectly except for the fact that once zipped, I couldn't lift my arms up over my head completely. This meant that I couldn't unzip myself. My rule is that I never wear/buy anything where I need help to dress or undress. I like the dress and fabric. Fun, different print. But made me feel like a linebacker. Lots of layers on the bottom add voume, plus the mid-calf length isn't great for my height, and the dress made my broad shoulders look wider. Wouldn't rent again, but only b/c it's not right for my body type.
Fit was true to size. Only drawback was how low cut it is. Too low for work, do I had to add a tank. The colors are really pretty too
So cute/great fit with a supportive stretch/but a little too busty for my taste.
I liked this dress in person and it fit pretty well (true to size). Lots of cleavage. I wanted to wear this dress, but after I saw it photographed it just didn't translate.
This dress was so low that I had to get creative. It looked silly without a bra, so I had to fold in the cups on my standard black bra. The top was tight enough to hold it in place most of the night, but it was frustrating because it made me feel a little uneasy (worried about a slip!). For reference, my bra size is a 34 A/B. The style is very flattering. Would really be ideal for someone with a slightly bigger chest or someone trying to conceal a baby bump. There IS a nice liner that is figure hugging, so keep that in mind. Great quality, just wish the neckline was a little higher.
This dress was filtered in the true maternity section but it is not a true maternity dress. it didn't close with my 3rd trimester belly.... too bad because it looked pretty and fabric was nice.
I wasn’t a big fan of this dress. I think it looks better in the pictures. The ruffles weren’t as detailed and the top was super low cut and wide. For someone that has larger breasts and doesn’t want to show off a ton of cleavage this dress is not for you
Not silk -- mostly polyester, just the outside bodice is silk. Strange silhouette, not flattering. Did not wear.
wore a tank underneath for work and again for thanksgiving. So many compliments.
Dress it down or up, this dress is beautiful! Fits true to size. Perfect length (I'm 5'6"). Watch out busty ladies though. It was perfect on my and fit like a glove on top....but that was without a bra....and there is not much stretch in the dress. Loved it!
TTS fit that likely works best for average or tall women without a large bust (as it is cut quite low in the front). I packed it in a suitcase and it traveled well....it also looked pretty cute with a black cami underneath for work. I *loved* the movement of the pleats and the layers. Great dress!
This dress is amazing - especially if you don't mind that it is low-cut. The bottom pleating was really cool and laid nicely while the top part was fitted. Got lots of compliments. This would probably be a good dress for someone pregnant since the bottom is so flowy.
Nice dress, wore it casually but can be dressed up with jewelry and shoes. Very low cut if you have boobs!!!!
I ended up not wearing because it didn't have any stretch on the waist and top. I'm a 10/12 on the top and 12/14 on the bottom. It was too tight in the waist for me so had to return. Unfortunately, the 10R was the biggest size available. So I can't size up. :-(
.
Barely zipped over my 29 week baby bump but I am carrying a bit high so may work better for those with a lower belly. I wouldn't be able to wear this much longer.
Very pretty and unique but very low cut! Your bra will totally show unless you wear a camisole. I wore to the ballet and I'm debating if the style with the layers on bottom is too much for work. Definitely too much for dinner at a friends or an afternoon event so the utility is a little limited. Dress up yes but its a bit over the top for most events. Its pretty though and flattering.
Good fit even with low cut.
I loved the material of this dress and the fit except it definitely is as busty as other reviews have said. I wore it for a dinner on vacation so it was OK, however I would probably not rent it for any other occasion.
It's hard to find a cocktail dress that has sleeves and is forgiving in the mid-section but still makes you feel kinda sexy. Warning: the fromt is cut crazy low and looks a bit porn-ish if you're busty.. Wearing a lacy, bright, teal, full-coverage bra underneath popped the lighter color in the dress without looking trashy (or so I'd like to believe).
I do really love this dress. After reading reviews I decided to go a size up. I'm normally a size 2 but was concerned the girls wouldn't fit in the top and also heard it is a bit snug. I could have worn the size 2 so, I would say go with your normal size unless you have broad shoulders. I do not but noticed that the shoulders do not have much give. I am going to pair this with a black lace bra as to avoid a slip . Very cool style/ leather jacket perhaps over
My fiancé loved this dress. I liked it. It wasn't the color I thought but was still a nice print. Very forgiving cut in the waist. Was hard to find a bra that didn't show in the front, but did make the girls look good!
i'm short so the longest part of the dress just touched the ground, it was also a ton of fabric. cute dress, but would look better on someone taller. i had to wear a sports bra because the neckline was very low. i thought it took away a little from the overall look of the dress and wish i didn't need to wear it. just ok on me, but still a fun pattern/dress
Pretty colors and design but the lining falls right under the chest and is not flattering...in fact made me look larger. Also wished it was slightly shorter.
I thought the dress was cute for the baby shower I was going to but I couldn't zip it over my ribs! Loved the hemline.
