I wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner and it was perfect!  The 16 was a little big on me in the back, but not so much that I wouldn't wear it.  I wore it to an outside rehearsal dinner in Texas, and it wasn't too hot.  The red is super flattering and I really liked this dress!

Beautiful red color. The lace is so pretty. Very comfortable. 

Fit perfectly! No tugging, pulling, or readjusting needed ALL night. The back "V" is a nice added touch. The lace is high quality - no snagging or catching. So comfortable and easy to dance in!

The red and lace were a classic and beautiful combo for the upscale wedding I attended.  I normally don't wear such a bold color for a wedding, but the classic cut of the dress made me feel more comfortable with it.  I sized up to give it a looser look, although I loved how the true to size dress looked too.  I absolutely loved this dress and received countless compliments all night long.  Totally recommend for someone looking for a classic look.

You need help with the zipper but I could’ve put it over my head 

Great fit- a bit stretchy, so we could have gone one sixe down, but it worked great. My daughter is very conservative, as far as fit,  and was so happy with this dress.  She is very athletically built and has a hard time getting things to fit her well through the chest and shoulders. It worked perfectly and the lace wasnt scratchy. 

The dress fit was forgiving where needed yet gave me a curvy shape. Length was good. Lace didn't catch on anything. Color is gorgeous.

This was my first RTR experience, and I definitely plan to order through them again! I'm glad I got the two sizes I did (16W and 18W) because they both fit differently depending on what I had on underneath (aka no spanx or spanx). Luckily I found some amazing spanx that allowed me to fit into the smaller size. It didn't look or feel too small at all either. I got a lot of compliments, espcecially for the red color. Perfect for holidays. The underneath slip was weird at first, but you just have to make sure you place it correctly and pull it down all the way. Also, I highly recommend wearing a bra that matches the color of the dress because you could see nude and black through the lace on top.  I'm so happy I got this dress and it fit! Made for a great holiday party! 

I usually go for a fuller skirt, but needed something easy to dance in for the Cotillion Holly Ball.  I received so many compliments while wearing this dress!  Fit was perfect, has just enough stretch to be comfortable.  Definitely wear a strapless bra, otherwise you will see the straps.

I wore this dress to my husband's work Christmas party. I liked how this dress looked nice on women that have a similar body type of myself so decided to try it. I ordered a 14 & 16 (typically wear 14 in non fitted items & 16 in fitted to not show all of my flaws as much). I went with the 14 because the 16 more just hung on me & didn't do much for me & the 14 did more for my curves. It was still easy to sit down in & spanx helped not show my tummy as much. I was very happy with this dress & got lots of compliments. 

Was a great dress for a wedding. Color was great. Were some small rips in lace - but not noticeable. Would watch with some jewelry. Loved it!

Work this to my husband' new hire dinner, loved everything about this dress!  I usually go with black, but the red lace was gorgeous and the dress was very comfortable.  Received a lot of compliments, felt beautiful! 

I really enjoyed this dress and received many compliments on it. I am almost 5'10" and it wasn't too short, which was a minor miracle. I ended up wearing the smaller size and still was able to put it on without unzipping the back. There are two slips underneath, so I felt well covered. The lace is substantial and well-made. I did need to wear shaping undergarments because the dress is not structured enough to smooth any problem areas. The color of the dress in person is definitely deeper than in the picture. It has more of a wine undertone than orange. I would definitely recommend this dress. 

Event was in the winter so it was a nice in between dress. Fit was great, others mentioned the arms were a little tight but I thought it they were perfect. Loved the color and the whole dress was in great shape. 

I wore this to my cousin's wedding in wine country in California. In February, it can still be chilly there so I picked one with some sleeves just in case and it was the perfect choice. Both sizes fit, the 16W and the 18W, but the 16 was more snug around my stomach, which is my problem area (I still haven't lost my "baby weight" 15 months later...) so I went with the 18W, even though it was a little big in the sleeves, but it didn't look bad. The color is a gorgeous shade of red in person and the quality of the material and the lace was so beautiful. I got lots of compliments on the dress and I felt so pretty in it.  I would definitely rent it again! 

I was looking for a dress that was at least cocktail dressy, but not too revealing. I love this red lace dress! Based on other reviews, I ordered my typical size and 1 size up. I ended up wearing the larger size (though both fit), but my regular size showed a little too much curve for my taste. The lace is beautiful and heavy- I didn't have any problems with holes or snags. The dress is lined, but I still wore shapewear underneath. I was a little apprehensive about the lace arms (no stretch), but my bigger arms fit just fine with room to spare. Overall I am very pleased with my experience with Rent the Runway, and this dress in particular!

The fabric was comfortable and soft. It was bright red and looked very expensive. I had ease of movement and it fit true to size. I ordered a 18W and got a 16W as back up because I didn't know which size would work best and the 16W fit perfectly. I didn't get a full size picture of me in the dress but the display picture is spot on. The process of renting this dress was seamless and I will always "Rent the Runway" for such occasions! 

After reading everyone's reviews and deciding the dress ran large, I went with a size 14 and it fit perfectly. I was worried I was going to be overdressed for my event, so I tried to dress it down with some flat, and that worked well. If I'm being honest, I shop at Kohl's a lot, and this dress felt so different from the stuff I normally wear - it didn't feel cheap! I didn't once worry about pulling the lace overlay... it was secure. I really loved this dress and probably will wind up renting it again!

The dress runs a bit large, so I wore my smaller option. The one in my size still looked amazing on, but the fit was a little better on the smaller size. The material was a little heavy, so having an outside party in the southern April weather wasn't ideal, but I definitely wasn't miserably hot. I would suggest wearing it to an indoor event. 

I will more than likely rent this dress again bc that's how much I loved it! You won't be sorry for renting it and you will love all the attention/compliments! 

It was comfortable, classy, yet sexy. Fit true to size, I am also really short but it fell right on my knees Perfect for an outside wedding. I was a little nervous of tugging the lace because it felt so dainty.

I got the dress as a quick replacement from customer service due to a problem with the dress I had initially ordered. (Customer Service with RTR is AMAZING by the way.) I had worn a dress by this designer before so I knew the size would work for my body. The fit was still a little loose, but overall very comfortable. Had quite a few people walk up and remark on how beautiful the color is. I'd definitely wear another dress by this designer again. Felt really very elegant in this dress. Loved it.

Lots of compliments! Loved the lace and the color. Had a small snag/rip on the  lace in the front, but I don't think anyone noticed. Very comfortable and light. A little bit big for me, but still worked.

This was a great dress for a November wedding in Chicago!  The color was great - it's a slightly deeper red in person than in the photos.  The red lace felt really fun and was balanced by the dress's more conservative silhouette for a fancy wedding.  The dress was super comfortable - there's not much stretch to the arms, but the body of the dress is pretty forgiving.  I'd size up for my backup if I was on the edge of a size.  I usually wear a 14-16 and both the 14W and 16W fit fine- the 14W fit a little better in the shoulders so I went with that one.  Wear a red or nude bra - the straps of the slip under the lace are thin and it will show through.  I'm 5'6" and it was just knee length and crept up a few inches as I walked around/danced.

The dress was very comfortable.  I'm not normally a 14w. I wasn't sure what size to get so I went to a plus size because of it being a sheath dress. After gaining 20lbs over the summer I couldn't find a dress so I decided to give RTW a try.  I didn't want a 14w in my closet that I would never wear again.   I'm 5'7" and 190lbs. I'm pear shaped also.  The length was perfect, it hit just at my knee. It was a little loose but not enough to be falling off.   I'm so happy to have stumbled across this site and I'll be ordering again and again.  I'm so grateful!  

I was hesitant to get a shorter dress and Oh, I'm so glad I did!  It was flexible and comfortable.  I danced all night and didn't want to take it off for the after party- so I didn't!  The photo online makes it look a bit boxy but in person it's totally not.  It looked so sexy, it hugged my curves in all the right places.  It's so elegant all you need are some killer earrings and some nude shoes.  I will definitely be renting this again.  Absolutely NO cons!  I typically wear a size 18/20, have 42HH boobs, and I'm 5'6" tall.  This hit me right above the knees.  Do yourself a favor and rent this dress :)

Fit well but make sure if you want a form fit to use good under garnets and a superb bra :) 

The dress was exactly what I expected! It was a beautiful color, very comfortable and high quality. It does run a little large but I would not have wanted a smaller size and risk having to any shorter. It is a heavier lace, which kept me warm(loved that, I'm always cold) but I wouldn't suggest it for an outside event in the summer months. It was perfect for what I needed and I will be renting again! 

I ended up wearing the smaller of the two sizes. Hit right above the knee. I'm 5'11". It wasn't too tight, but slightly form fitting. Remember to wear a beige bra, because the top is lace. I got a lot of compliments. I have bigger arms but the lace sleeves were totally comfortable too. All in all, a great choice and a beautiful dress. Will definitely be renting again!

Flattering! I'm between a 14W and 16W so there isn't a lot of variety available to me. I was pleasantly surprised with this dress. I thought because it didn't have much of a waist it would look like a potato sack on me, but sizing down I found it to be a flattering, but comfortable dress for a wedding. Dancing and eating didn't make it any less comfortable. Be careful about bracelets as the lacy fabric catches. Got compliments all night!

I choose to wear the 16W but the 14W also fit but was a bit shorter. I have large arms so I was excited that the sleeves fit. I had to purchase a red bra as the lining has spaghetti straps. Very comfortable.

I rented this dress for a wedding. The color was absolutely gorgeous. The dress was a little boxy but I felt very comfortable. The back is just as stunning. Added a pop of fun with a leopard clutch and nude heels. Get ready to be complimented all night!

I was in between two sizes (18 and 20) and decided to wear the 20 just in case. It was a little big on me- but I'm weirdly shaped (much smaller on top than bottom). It was so light and comfy- I got SO many compliments. The red really pops in photos! Awesome Holiday party dress. This was was my first RTR experience and I couldn't be more pleased! Happy Renting! 

This was my first experience with RTR and although I was a bit anxious the dress was absolutely gorgeous!  By reading other ladies reviews  I was able to determine  the size  that would work best for me.  The dress does run a bit large but at my age, I am all about comfort.  I wore this to Western KY University Homecoming Events and Football Game and received  so many compliments both in person & texts , even  the next day.  I am pictured with my daughter who also rented her red dress from RTR.  We both were very pleased!  In fact we have another event (formal)  this upcoming weekend, and our dresses from RTR  are on the way!  Hope to post more pictures soon!
