I loved this dress! I ordered a 6 as a back up, but the 4 fit perfectly. I got so many compliments and really felt that it was flattering in every way possible. I definitely recommend this for any occasion.

Ordered this for my birthday dinner and night out. Received the 2 and the 4. The 2 was wearable but tight so opted for the 4. Still a fitted look but not overly so. Really enjoyed this dress. Comfortable and easy to wear.

A little hard to move in - but no complaints at all. I was still able to dance the night away. You definitely need someone to help you zip up and zip down. Not easy an task!

I wore this dress for valentine's day. Even though the dress was short sleeved, the heavy fabric made it ideal for a chilly night. The dress fit like a glove.

The dress was fitted just perfectly. It was difficult to move my arms at times, but only when dancing. I LOVED how I looked and felt in the dress. One thing that seemed strange was the stitching at the boob of the dress. However, with the design of the stitching it worked well! I was extremely satisfied with my first rental!!! The 4 was too baggy in the chest area, so the 2 was just what I was looking for for a slim, tight fitting dress.

I'm lucky enough to work across from the RTR Flatiron location, so I had the luxury of trying on this dress prior to renting. The one I received was in great condition and I was really happy with the fit and the bold, bright color. My favorite part was probably that with a dress like this I was able to totally get away with a statement necklace and basic flat boots (it being an NYC wedding on a rainy morning didn't hurt either). Important note: this dress is not ideal if you are going to be hitting the dance floor, as there is limited movement in your arms. I wasn't concerned about this, because the wedding I attended was a sit-down lunch w/simple background music. Wouldn't recommend for something where you really want to cut a rug! I would totally rent this dress again! It's very fitted but has a great shape and highlights all the right areas. A+

I wore this dress to my bachelorette party. Overall the fabric and details were great and it was a very sexy/flattering dress without losing any class. I didn't notice when renting, but the hem is shorter in front than in back just by a bit which was a neat feature. However it was a bit snug. I usually wear a size 10 or 12 (38D bust, 39" hips) and the size 12 in this dress fit, but was very tight.

I thought the dress fit really well -- even the length was perfect (and I am really short). I liked how the back was subtly longer, which made it good for dancing. The chest also fit fine, which means it's probably not a good choice for small-chested girls. The fabric was thick, which was nice for a fall wedding. The fact it was form fitting made it sexy, but the fact it's not revealing kept it classy. I chose the size 2, though the 4 would also have worked (just would've looked a little baggier). With Spanx, the 2 was perfect. Loved it!

Some pros: you can wear a regular bra and the color is even prettier in person. Cons: The seams were a little weird in the bust area. Overall, a great dress.

When the dress first arrived I thought it was way too tight and short to wear to a rehearsal dinner. I called Rent the Runway and was told the 12 wasn't available. They offered to overnight another dress in the same price point. I retried the dress on and figured I could make it work. It looked great, I just wasn't sure if it was too short for a rehearsal dinner. I felt great in it, but it does seem to run small.

I am 5'3" about 145lbs. This dress was perfect for a summer wedding. It hugged me tight in all the right places. I wish I didn't have a little pooch from having a baby 8 months ago but even with the pooch I felt fabulous in this dress! The one thing I couldn't tell from the online picture was that the front is a little bit shorter than the back. Although this came as a surprise to me I still loved how it looked on me. And as an added bonus it arrived a few days earlier than anticipated which was great!!!

Loved this dress! It fit perfectly - definitely true to size and like other reviewers mentioned, there is no give in this fabric. The fabric itself is pretty thick, which I like because I feel like it helps conceal any "flaws." The color of the dress is very much a poppy-red, so I paired it with a teal/aquamarine bracelet and nude wedges.

Very well made dress, heavier material than expected- perfect for a late winter formal work event! The color is more orange than red and its bright! Perfectly paired with a nude pump- I ended up not wearing the neclace I ordered with the dress, the dress was enough of a statement on its own. I have a fairly large chest, the 2 was snug but flattering- the 4 was too big.

Dress was good quality and true to size. It was a thicker material, which I prefer. Got tons of compliments! Only negative was that the gold on the zipper was a little worn off but, I wore my hair down and I doubt anyone else would ever notice.

The color of this dress is amazing in-person. The cut is wedding-appropriate and a definite win if you want to be noticed without stealing the show. The fit is a little tight, especially around the bust area, so if your full busted, order a size up for your backup. It also was a great length for tall girls. I wish I could have kept it!

The dress fit great! The zipper was a little sticky but with another person's help it went up! As someone who a little taller it's always nerve racking renting a shorted dress but this one hit perfectly! It wasn't too short or overly long! The fabric isn't stretchy but it's a little thicker than I expected. I wore it to an outdoor February wedding in Florida & was perfectly comfortable.

Loved this dress! It was extremely form fitting, but in a classy, not trashy way. I wore this on Valentine's Day to a restaurant with my husband, and then the next night to attend a fashion show/fund raiser. I felt extremely sexy, and the color attracted a lot of smiles from others. This dress is a bit shorter than I typically wear, but it really compliments the legs! I'm also very hippy (32-27-36) and as others have mentioned, I think this dress was meant for the straight and narrow body type with a large bust. RTR suggested I size up, and I'm glad I did, even though I ended up wearing the size 4, not the size 6. I do want to warn others, that even though this dress has very thick material, you can still see underwear lines. This includes lace patterns on undergarments and spanks - and even the seams of pantyhose! Plan accordingly, and you will be fine. I have rented 15+ dresses from this site and I always receive the very best service. Thank you RTR for once again making me feel like a star! You are the best!

Loved this dress!! The fit was amazing up top (it was a little tight in the hips and thighs area but it was ok). I loved that it was modest and I could feel comfortable in it and the fit was very tailored and sexy. The fit and fabric really made this dress for me. My fiance loved it as well and I'm very glad I rented it... I would definitely consider renting again

I wore this dress to my sister's engagement party and felt absolutely beautiful all evening. It was the perfect combination of day/night for a 3pm party.

LOVE this dress! It was very figure flattering and great for busty girls. The color was also really vibrant and looked nice with my skin tone. The only two slightly negative things were: 1) Thick material. It was quite hot in the restaurant after a few cocktails; 2) I couldn't move my arms above my head. The arms were so tight! :) Highly recommend for a winter night out.

The shape of this dress was incredible along with the color, made for one spectacular night! The top is a little snug I wasn't able to lift my arms very high, but it was worth it. I'll def. rent this one again. Unfortunately I never got a full body picture in the dress, but I guess that just means I have to rent it again!

This dress is fabulous!! I found it to fit pretty true to size. From the comments I read beforehand, I expected it to be snug in the hips which it really wasn't. On me it was more snug in the chest area. Not the best option if you plan on dancing, but other than that this dress was perfect!

I ordered the 0 and 2. Could have worn either, but for comfort went with the 2. It had just the perfect amount of stretch to it and I LOVED how it went a tad longer in the back - very subtle and amazing. Didn't want to return it because it is such a classic, well made dress. Coincidentally, I wore it with a Zac Posen gold clutch and gold shoes with a pink and poppy braided necklace. In the picture you can't really see all the detail of the dress, but in person it has just the right amount of lines and structure. I was nervous about the sleeves being too long, but they were perfect. Highly recommend!

This dress was my backup, but I ended up falling in love with it. The color and fit were perfect, and exactly as shown on the model. A few things to note for future renters: the material is fairly thick, so it is probably not an ideal summer rental. Also - a few past reviews mentioned this, but there is a seam at the boobs that creates the illusion that you are nipping. It is not so extreme that it ruins the dress, but it may bother some people.

I wore this to a wedding rehearsal dinner. It was a very simple dress but the bold, electric color gave it a pop. The material was thick and stretchy so it was very flattering. Use caution with the sleeves though. The size four was slightly loose in the waist for me, but could only raise my arms up about halfway. This is a closet staple and wish I could keep! I will definitely rent it again!

It was a little tight- I am normally a 2 and was a little inbetween sizes with the 4 being too big in the top.

Rented this dress for my company's holiday party and it was a big hit! Very comfortable, gorgeous color, and great construction. Fairly conservative length and neckline but still sexy thanks to the fit. Definitely recommend.
