Rented this for a black-tie wedding. I ordered it as a back-up dress, but ended up feeling much better in it than the dress i initially picked (BCBG Lemon w Lime). I got it in the size 2, thinking that'd fit me, but luckily I got a backup size in 0 as well, which is what I ended up wearing. It was super comfortable to wear, although I had to use fashion tape in the front to make sure it didn't end up being too low-cut. The torso area fit well. Wore it with 3-inch heels, which left a glamorous-feeling train. Surprisingly, the train wasn't too cumbersome, despite my tendency to be accident-prone. Would definitely wear this dress again.

The fit was incredibly comfortable! I was able to eat and move and never worry about how I looked. Double sided tape and seamless panties was all I needed and I was set for a night of dancing!

I choose this dress as a second option for a wedding and it was so sexy and flattering. It moves really well and opens with a slit when you walk. I loved wearing it and got so many compliments!

I wore this dress to a charity polo tournament in 100 degree heat and found it be extremely comfortable and flattering. The only downside was that I had to wear some very tall heels and still found it dragging a bit. No complaints otherwise - was definitely a hit and made me stand out in a sea of black.

This is a beautiful dress! This was actually my backup dress for a wedding, my first choice was too finicky so I threw this on in panic at the last minute! The color is very pretty, more orangey than red as it appears in the picture. Very flattering for hourglass figures as the waist is fitted. My only negative comments would be that it is VERY low cut, I felt a little uncomfortable wearing it to a wedding. Also the fabric shows EVERYTHING. I am not a fan of Spanx and find them very uncomfortable, but really had to wear them with this dress. But overall beautiful color and sexy fit!

It is a pretty dress, and looks like the one in the picture! It was very light weight which was nice. One thing I personally didn't like was that it was too low cut for my style, but other people may like that.

First of all, I have to say that this was my first experience with rent the runway, and their customer service was the most incredible experience ever. I received three dresses the day prior to when I was suppose to be flying out for a wedding. To my dismay, none of them fit, and one had a stain on the dress. Rent the runway went WAAAAAAYYYYYY out of their way to ensure I received another dress, overnight to my new destination. The Zac Posen was the dress I ended up going with. So, the dress, Its a lovely dress. I'm generally a size 4, and the size 4 that I wore fit almost perfectly. It runs a little bit big in the hips, so it wasn't the most ideal fit there, but everywhere else was a winner. I am 5'7 and I wore 3 1/2 inch heels and the 4 Regular was about a half an inch too long, so I had to keep holding up the back so that it didn't catch my heel. That was really my only complaint about this dress. You will DEFINITELY need some kind of a slip, or spanx (I opted for spans) the behind is rather see through and you can definitely get an eye shot of your underpants if you aren't careful!! Cant wait for my next event to try again!!! THANKS RTR!

I wore this to a medical school formal an felt amazing. The long was the perfect length with a 3 inch heel. I highly reccomend fashion tape to secure the front from popping open when you lean forward. Otherwise awesome dress.

If it had been my own, I would've had it hemmed, but the fit was fine for one night.

The tangerine color is beautiful, not overly bright or neon looking. The fit was fairly true. I ordered the 4 and the 6. I think the difference between the sizes was mainly from the waist up. The fit was pretty similar in the hips. I wore the 4. My strapless bra peaked out just a bit at the bottom of the armhole. I had to use a couple of pieces of tape in front to secure the wrap style top, otherwise it would have drooped and revealed my bra. I am 5'9" and wore 3 inch heels and wore the Long. It was good it wasn't any longer! The jersey fabric is very clingy and I definitely needed spanx to smooth out the rear. The dresses were both in very good condition and free of stains when I received them. This was nice because I had gone to a local dress rental shop previously and was disappointed at the condition of some of their dresses. I will say that the dresses smelled somewhat strongly of dry cleaning chemical when I received them. It was nice to know they were so clean but I was glad to have a couple of days to hang the dresses outside of the garment bag to air out before wearing. The necklace was a bit long. This was my first time using RTR and I will definitely do it again. What a great resource!

The fabric of the dress is great! It didn't get wrinkled from all the sitting and standing for the Marine Ball ceremony, and would be great to pack, etc with no worries. I have a very small bust and the size 0R was slightly more stretched out in the bust than the size 2R. I decided to wear my supper padded silicone inserts in my strapless bra and use excessive amounts of stylist tape, rather than going up to the 2R. Although I love the fabric, it shows every line and wrinkle beneath, and is tight in the rear... even a no-line thong would have shown. I got complements, and the dress was easy to wear and to move in. I had to hold up the small train while dancing, but it was no problem because the jersey type fabric is stretchy and light weight.

Unlike some of the other reviews, I thought the dress was a bit loose fitting and didn't cling. I thought the tapered cut on the bottom flowed gorgeously and was perfect with 4 inch platfoms. I loved how the dress carried as you walked. So Fun and easy to wear!

A little long in back and had to use the tape but overall very nice dress

The fit was flattering. If you are an hourglass or have a full-bust be prepared to have the right bra or shapewear. It was very va-voom. Looked great in pictures and was fun and flowing to dance in, but I needed to pin myself in at the top to make sure my invisible bra stayed in tact. The color photographs really well and the side cut emphasizes and lengthens your legs.

Loved this gown. The length was a little long for me, even with 4" heels. The drape was nice. Needed to wear a strapless, backless, silicone adhesive bra which I did not love - but thats just me. The edge material of the dress was a little funky like a frayed piece. The color is more along the lines of orange.

I felt like a princess! The dress was gorgeous and brought out the best in my body. The flowy design made me feel like I was on a runway with the wind blowing on me.

I wore a size smaller than I anticipated I would. It fit great once I had the right size on.

I rented this dress for black tie fundraiser, dinner and dancing. I've gained a few pounds so ordered the 10 and 12, I liked the way the 10 fit on top and didn't notice much different on the bottom. The fabric is a heavy jersey-like fabric, so lays beautifully and doesn't show every bump or bulge. It was so comfortable to wear and the top is sexy but not too revealing. I received a TON of complements. It really stood out in a sea of black dresses. I think it would fit several body types based on the construction of the dress and weight of the fabric. Would definately rent another Z Pozen dress in the future. Loved this dress!

Not formal enough for a very high end formal, but perfect for a wedding, outdoor summer event. Bright beautiful color and shape.

Rented this for a formal awards dinner in DC. I wanted something fun, but formal. I love the color, deep tangerine. Beautiful with my fair skin, and really made the blue in my eyes pop. Tons of compliments, and I stood out in a sea of black. I rented larger than usual due to the other reviews (small in the waist, no room in the bust) but had to return those in a hurry for my usual size, the four was actually still a little big in the waist could have gone for the 2. You will need some kind of slimmer like spanks underneath. I hate them and do not usually wear them at all, but this dress is clingy in the skirt and shows every ripple, even if you are thin and in good shape, plan ahead. It was long, but with a high pair of heels (brown satin Badgley Mischka) the back just cleared the floor.

The fabric allowed for a good draping effect and good movement. The orange in the photo is true to the actual color. A good choice for the not-too-formal garden wedding I attended.

The color of this dress is stunning! It is a great dress for a more formal occasion. This dress is very fitted in the hips, so if you are curvier I would highly recommend sizing up in your backup size and I would recommend wearing SPANX! I would also highly recommend fashion tape because there is a very deep V in the front of the dress!

Loved the design of dress: straps, cut, drape. The color is cheerful and flattering. The material is clingy; get your Spanx ready.

The long is very long, and would not have worked if I weren't tall AND wearing 3+ inch heels. The color is great and the jersey fabric feels very comfy for a formal gown. The slit is very high so keep in mind when choosing shape wear for underneath, which is a must since it's very clingy. Overall I liked this gown but wasn't in love with it.

I received this dress as a back up because my original didn't have one of the sizes. This dress is really nice but you better have the right curves. It's a fitted dress so if you have a muffin top, it will show. Beautiful color.

Selected this dress as back-up and ended up not wearing it to the black-tie wedding I was attending. The orange color is quite pretty, as is the draping fabric. However, I would recommend Spanx even to women that don't usually wear them, because the fabric is quite thin and can cling around the rear. Also, the back of the dress is quite long, which can cause an issue walking.

I feel like it would be better for girls with less hips. It is a bit large up top then tighter through the waist. It is a gorgeous dress.

Amazing dress. So comfortable to wear! The movement it provides when moving and dancing is gorgeous. Runs a little small through the rear, and (as much as I hate to say it) the previous reviewers are right -- Spanx are DEFINITELY needed. Thus, the 4 stars. Now that I have Spanx, I will definitely rent it again.

this dress is really pretty and great for an outdoor event, but it doesnt give you much support in the chest area, which is problematic because of the spaghetti strap sleeve (making it difficult to find a bra that won't show) also if you are short (im 5'0) the length is pretty awkward. would probably look great on a tall woman with smaller chest area!

I really loved this dress. The color is more coral than orange. I do highly recommend shape wear with this.

I would give it 5 stars, but the back of it was too long. I did the best I could to lift up the dress when I walked. It was unavoidable at times to let it drag. It was a very comfortable dress to wear, I received a lot of compliments.

The color is gorgeous, loved the cut of the front; however, the dress hugs your curves VERY tightly. I have an hourglass shape so it accentuated my tush a little more thatn I wanted for a rehearsal dinner. Also, the back is longer than I expected even with 4 inch wedges. I ended up wearing another dress I rented.

I had to send it back before wearing! I have a small waist and the drape made me look much thicker. In my opinion it would work for someone with a little stomach to hide. It is beautiful- color is vibrant and fun!

It is not visible in the photos, but this dress has an intentional "rough edge" or "eyelash" seem all the way around the hem and up the front sash. I thought it made the dress look rather sloppy. The dress was very wrinkled upon arrival, and although I steamed it with my Rowenta steamer, it really wouldn't perk up around the bottom and along the waistline. The top of this dress is lovely and forgiving no matter what size bust you may have. That was the only plus though. The bottom half was rather sloppy instead of having fluid flowiness, despite the irregular (pretty) hemline. Very strong dry cleaning odor as well. While both the 10L and 12L fit me very similarly, I didn't wear either.

I am tall (5'11") and relatively thin with a small bust. The coral color was lovely and the slit is great, but I looked pear shaped when I put it on. I think you need a decent bust to balance the draping and the way the fabric lays on the hips.. that or be rail thin with no hips to speak of.

I really wanted this to fit , but for a 5'3" woman, I couldn't even buy heals high enough for this gown.

I had rented another dress for a black tie optional wedding that was too long for me, and RTR searched high and low to find a dress that might for me for the occasion. This is what we settled on, and unfortunately, was beyond disappointed. First, the dress smelled like my grandmother's apartment and arrived with at least one small hole along the hemline. This obviously applies to the particular dress I received, and not to the style overall. I usually wear a 00 or 0 and got this in the 0R. It fit in some places, but not in others-- for example, my bra was busting out of the top (I am a 30C). I maybe could've taped it and made it work, but the back of the dress was too long-- I am 5'1" and was wearing 4"+ heels. You can't use hem tape on this dress because all along the edge is a frayed trim.
