I wore this dress to senior prom and it was just GORGEOUS! I looked and felt like a celebrity in iy, and I got tons of compliments. This dress is high quality, it fits in all the right places, and the color is the perfect shade of red. The fabric is thick but stretchy, but some of the stretch is all stretched out because of multiple wears, so it runs just a little bit big. I was also a little long on me, but it's shorter in the front so it's easy to walk in. If you look a the picture, I also crossed the straps in the front because it was a bit big in the chest and my girls weren't quite rising to the occasion, lol . All in all, I LOVED THIS DRESS, and you will too!

I was concerned it might be a little long for me since there were no petite sizes, but it worked out great with my heels and I never felt like I was going to trip over the material. The dress fit perfectly everywhere else and was easy to dance in. Only took some maneuvering to go up and down stairs. I love this dress and highly recommend it it you want to standout !

Wore this amazing gown to an NYC Masquerade Holiday ball. It was a stunner! Hugs in all the right places and the material is heavier towards the bottom. The back has the nice bow detailing. You won't regret the choice. A head turner indeed.

Wore platform heels and I still had to keep up the dress so I would not trip over it. I was careful it was such a beautiful dress I just wanted to be extra careful. I weighed 107 in that dress and if I lost another pound it would probably have been a noticeably bigger. I used a padded halter top bra with extra padding, you need curves to look good on that dress.

This is a dress that makes you stand out. It was my replacement dress and it was perfect. Definitely hugs your curves and I am a 36DDD and I didn't even have to wear a bra with it. Shape wear made a huge difference in smoothing everything out. Would hands down rent again.

It's extremely form fitting and holds you in in all the right places. Quite low cut. I found the straps a little hard to figure out and had to tie it a couple of times with the dress off before I could get it to work. A little tricky. I still think I didn't get it like it was pictured but it still looked great. If you are 5'3" or shorter, you will need super high shoes so it doesn't drag. I was wearing a 5" heel with a platform and it still dragged a bit in the front (but not enough to trip). I wore it with a Nu Bra, so no straps could be seen in the back. Overall, this dress was very comfy and I was sad to take it off at the end of the night. VERY glam! This dress will have heads turning in your direction.

Stunning dress! I received so many compliments on the dress. The dress hugs your waist creating an hour glass shape with a beautiful tail at the bottom (perfect mermaid-like shape). So flattering as the dress accecentuated my natural curves. The color is a deep red and clearly stood out at my event. There is a slight flare/tail to the dress as well. I'm 5'4" and I wore 3 inch heels and the dress was the perfect length. I would highly recommend this for any formal event in which you want to stand out! The Lady in Red!! Side note - when I was in the restroom another girl asked me if I was famous!

I knew I was going to a formal event in upstate New York so I picked this dress because I wanted to bring a piece of Hollywood to the cold dismal place. Sure enough the dress was smoking hot and received it's due recognition. Unfortunately I had to wear a size 2 because the size 0 reserved for me was returned "damaged beyond repair". Thankfully it's a fitting dress so it didn't look big on me, you should be fine if you order your size. The color is stunning and the cut of the dress embodies confidence and maybe a hint of attitude well deserving for it's overall beauty. The length, well it is what it is 58 inches long and at 4'11 I'm 59 inches tall. I managed to pull it off in 6 inch heels but it might be difficult for those close to my height. I highly recommend this unforgettable dress. Think "Lady in Red", this dress is unique and will set you apart.

I cannot describe how amazing this dress was! I have people that only met me at that event or saw pictures posted and say - "that red dress" It's sexy and anything but understated - be ready to stand out in the crowd.

I ordered the size 2 and 4. The 2 was only slightly smaller than the 4, but I went with the 4 in order to be more comfortable. The dress is made of a stretchy material so it hugged every curve perfectly. I received so many compliments on this dress at the Mardi Gras Ball.

I went to the Grammys recently and this dress fit my body like a glove. The 4L hugged all of the right curves. The dress is quite thick for a gown, nice and heavy. I'm 5'9.5 inches tall so the front showed my feet a bit. It was nice that it didn't drag but I would have preferred that it went to the ground in front, it's longer in the back. I wore 4 inch heels. The dress photographs beautifully and I was the star every where I walked in it. I crossed the front because halter style it didn't lay correct against my boobs. However, I preferred it that way. The back ties worked best to loop under and tie in a double knot. It was an amazing gown and I didn't want to take it off. I was getting compliment after compliment and a lot of stares. My measurements are 35, 26, 36. I weigh 122 pounds. The 2 was too snug to look classy, 4 was perfect. I would rent it again and it couldn't have fit better or looked more expensive.

I wore this gown for the Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Honors Banquet and received soooo many compliments all night long; EVERYONE wanted a picture with me! I ordered this gown in a 6L and a 8L and the 6L fit like a glove! I'm 5'9" so I brought a couple pairs of heels with me in case but a nice pair of 3 inch silver heels was PERFECT! No shapewear was needed and I didn't need a bra either; the dress hugged every curve of my body and kept me in, tightly. The fabric was divine and I was just completely floored with how amazing I felt and looked in it. This dress was a SHOW-STOPPER!! RENT THIS GOWN!

I rented this dress for the SAGs after I saw Theresa's picture - she looked gorgeous in it. When the dress came, I was really impressed with the fabric. It had some texture in it which you can't tell from the photos. It was a beautiful dress and it fit perfectly. I would definitely recommend this dress if you have a bustier chest. I rented this dress for an “Old Hollywood” themed Holiday Party. This dress was an absolute show stopper!! The color is a rich, shiny, Cherry Red. The fabric is thick and has stretch, so it’s extremely comfortable. This dress hugs every curve, so I did wear spanks just to smooth everything out, but no bra was necessary. Make sure any undergarments you use are seamless or you will notice the seams under the fabric. There is a ton of fabric on the bottom, which can make navigating stairs a bit tricky. Flash photography is not kind to this dress due to the shiny fabric, but it is AMAZING in person. I received a TON of compliments all evening! If you want to stand out and be noticed, this is the dress that will do it!! Gorgeous!!

This dress is absolutely a show-stopper! I received complements all evening and my fiance loved the dress! I wore this to a movie premiere red carpet event and felt very glamorous in it. I ordered the 4L and 6L and both fit almost the same, but I opted for the 6L so I could enjoy eating and drinking! This dress is best for someone with enough bust to fill the top....I am a 34C and feel if I were smaller chested it may not have been enough. I did not wear a bra.

This dress was amazing! I got so many compliments. What I loved the most was the experience. I made a stylist appointment not expecting to pick this dress out, but tried it on just because. It was on the more expensive side, but I was hooked. It was, of course, way too long (as most things are), but in-person they do temporary hemming for me for free and right away, which was fantastic! It worked out so well! Cons: Looking back at the pictures, I'm noticing that it made my stomach stick out. Not ideal. It was also very heavy. The dress was actually quite loose on me though. Wish I got a 4 instead, but it worked out and I loved it. Wish I could wear it again!

This dress is beautiful and the material is exquisite, but it hugs all the curves including the ones you don't want to be highlighted. I got a lot of compliments on the dress, but the pictures were horrible. I don't have a large stomach, but I looked pregnant in this dress. Even spanx wouldn't help the issue seeing as it is an incredibly form fitting dress.

The dress is GORGEOUS but didnt fit right on my body. The 10 was loose on my waist and tight on my hips...so tight that it showed every little thing. Spanx helped, but I just wasnt comfortable. Luckily RTR sent me another dress for my event :)

I wore this dress to a fancy Halloween themed fundraiser party. I had compliments all night long. This dress fits a little snug so I wore spanx underneath in order to smooth out the satin.

The fit was perfect! I had to wear the sticky bra for it because of the plunging neckline, but I felt beautiful in this dress. I wish I could own it, and I would definitely rent it again! It was the most expensive dress I'd rented on from RTR, but I was so happy with it!!!

I wore this dress to my fiancée's Military Ball. He had just returned from Afghanistan one month before so I needed the perfect dress for such a special night for us. This dress was it! It hit every curve, making it the perfect fit. It was sexy and still very classy at the same time. When we arrived at the ball, as soon as I stepped out of the car, all eyes were on me and I knew this dress was a winner. Not to mention my fiancée's expression when I stepped out of the room ;) I'm a 30DDD and didn't have to wear a bra. It held the girls in place all night. If I could purchase this dress, I would do it in a heart beat! Rent it! It is everything!

I felt like a million bucks in this gown. It is truly extraordinary and just gorgeous. It does run in touch small. I am typically a size 4, and wore my back up size 6.

The size 2 was a bit long but I wore six inch heels and it was fine, I just pulled it up a little while I walking. Also, use fashion tape to hold down along bustline and cross the straps in front to create more of an hourglass shape.

I originally rented the 2R for my school's spring gala, but it ended up being ruined by the previous renter. I had a lot fewer options than I would have liked as it was all very last minute, but RTR was wonderful in working with me to calm the anxiety of not having a dress. They sent me alternative options, but I was so stuck on a bright red dress so I was hoping I could get away with making the 4L work, but it was just too long for me. Had I had the time to hem it with tape, I *might* have been able to get away with it, but I was short on time and didn't want to ruin the dress by having it trampled on all night. In terms of fit, I think it was pretty much as I'd expected based on other users photos and reviews. The 4 would have been ok, but it's the kind of gown that I feel is meant to be expertly tailored so getting something more truly fitted was important to me so as not to have any bunching or other signs of a not-quite-the-right size situation. My one hesitation before placing my order was the neckline though and while it wasn't the worst thing, I felt like the cut would have looked better if I had a fuller chest. The bras I wear are 32Ds, but I often feel like my actual chest doesn't translate to that or look like as large as one would expect it too unless I wear a bra with a bit of padding. If I had some sort of inserts or something to fill me out an push 'em up then I think the dress might have been a bit better, but for the reasons all ready mentioned, it just wasn't working overall and renting it in the first place was essentially wishful thinking on my part. For the girl who it does fit though, it's bound to be a stunner.

I had just had a bb four months before attending our formal and I wanted something that would make me feel feminine and gorgeous. This dress totally lived up to my wants. My husband was able to always find me in the sea of black and navy dresses!

I wore this for a James Bond type of themed opera ball and loved it! Just the right amount of vamp minus any tramp. My husband was a fan.

This dress was a show stopper! Red carpet material, for sure. I wore it to a fundraising Gala and I got compliments all night. I felt very comfortable wearing it; It fit so well, with no need for a bra. The back ties, so you can adjust it to where ever it needs to be, based on your bust and torso length. It is made of a very thick and luxurious fabric that just swishes around when you walk. I had on 3 inch heels and with my height of 5'5'' the front just hovered above the ground, while the back trailed along. This was slightly cumbersome while dancing (had to be careful it didn't get stepped on) but it wasn't an issue at any other point in the night. I am so pleased with my selection, and couldn't be happier with the excellent customer service from Rent the Runway. I will definitely be renting again when I have another event to attend!

The material of the dress is heavy and has a lot of structure to it. The cut is amazing and showcases all your curves. The color is to die for....intense, blood red. I wore all hair up so that you could see the bow tied around my neck.

This dress is extremely sexy. If you're looking for a dress that will not draw attention, this is not it. I have a pear shape, and have a hard time finding dresses that find my bust and hips. This dress fit both thanks to the stretch. Would probably have the possibility of looking more classy on someone with smaller hips. Nonetheless, I received a ton of compliments and attention - but it was not necessarily the type of attention I wanted. However, this was the back up, and I didn't have any other option. I would rent this again, but for a different type of occasion. Hippy girls beware.
