This dress does run short and I'm only 5'0". So for me to say that it was short with barely a heel on is saying a lot. But other than that, it was such a beautiful dress. I've never felt so beautiful in a dress before! I wore this to my prom and I got complements all night! It is a bit heavy at first but after it gets really easy to wear. Absolutely amazing. Please rent!

The dress was a hit!! It's even more beautiful in person. Got tons of compliments. It is heavy and slightly painful at times because of the sequins but beauty is pain right? Lol definitely recommend it!

of course it's so beautiful but beauty comes with pain! the sequences obviously are not soft but besides that fits so comfortably easy to walk in and keeps your posture right up! I was by far the prettiest dressed at my Pagent

Despite the armpit irritating , I felt beautiful and I danced in it . I twirled in it , I literally looked like a celebrity. A lot of people say its heavy , its heavy but once I put it on I didn't feel it until I took it off. When it was time to give it back , I hugged it and smiled. I will never forget that dress and how it made me look best dress. PLEASE RENT! This dress was a mouth drop... I walked inside with my boyfriend and everyone started clapping and I was the only one who wore a gold dress. It makes you stand out ! RENT RENT RENT!

This is the most beautiful dress I've ever worn, and I had people complimenting me all night. BUT, it is heavy and the straps are tight, had slight irritation under my arms from it. Also, I am short (5'1") and this was the first time that a dress wasn't super long on me, in fact I was only able to wear 1 inch heels with it otherwise it would've been too high off the ground.

If you are looking for a sequin filled, red carpet appropriate dress, I think you've found it here! This dress is glamorous to the max, and held gasps by everyone when I walked out in it. Being the material is all sequins, it did have some itch to it and it was pretty heavy, but if you look like you are wearing gold, this shouldn't make much of a difference! Not only did I love the sequins, the cut of it really was something I loved. It helped show off my curves and had some stretch so I could walk and sit down more easily than I originally thought I would. Overall, it was an awesome dress... and only hope that there will be an occasion in my future that I can have the excuse to wear it for!

Dress was heavy, didn't have problems with the under arms, the only thing was the straps. It was way too long for me, but managed to fix it. Other than that I loved the dress so much

This dress was amazing! I rented it for my senior prom and I absolutely loved it! I did my research and made myself aware of all the disadvantages such as the weight and the irritation under the arms and rented it anyway! Best decision ever! Because I'm so short I had to tie the straps and pin one side of the neckline but other than that everything was great! Love love loved it! #bestpromever

Dress is heavy but you get used to it quickly, sequins around arms were very uncomfortable and if you're not careful the sequins will cut your arm if you rub against the dress. Slightly shorter than expected and would have liked a tighter fit but the dress moves beautifully, is gorgeous and will get you tons of compliments all night.

My underarms were vet sore after words because the sequins. It was a beautiful dress however

A nice dress with a lot of detail...however its a very heavy dress, the bust area showed the lining, and its too heavy to tape.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the armpit and shoulder areas are definitely irritating. I had pretty intense red marks and some scratches from the sequins, however it was definitely worth it. The size 2 was perfect (I am 5'4 and around 118 lb (Bust size 34, waist 25, and hips 35.5) it was almost as if I had it made custom. Despite the wounds, I absolutely recommend this dress!

It looks stunning but sequins chafed under armpits and on top of shoulders. Very painful but worth it.

This Zac Posen Dress was perfect for the occasion. It fit like a glove & it showed off my curves. I felt like a million bucks in the room that night!

Red carpet worthy stunner. This glam dress looks fantastic in person and photographs well. I had compliments all night and was featured in the style section of the paper after wearing this. This dress is heavy due to the sequins and they do rub a little under the arms. Nonetheless this dress is a knock out.

The dress fit great, however, the straps were too short for my arms to fit comfortably. It felt like the straps were cut to shorten it for some reason. It was a weird fit around my arms. Unfortunately I couldn't wear it for the occasion. But the dress was beautiful.

I originally thought I was a 6, but the 4R was the only size available so I took it. When it arrived, the dress fit me just right. Come to think of it, I should have checked if the 2R was available. I received plenty of compliments that night and many eyes on the dress. I was even called a "model" by a few. I felt ridiculously beautiful that day (I never say that about myself) and I thank RTR for making my night the way it was. The only two downsides were the cuts I got on my arms because the dress and my skin rubbed off on each other and how heavy it was because the dress was literally gold. I didn't mind, though because I can handle the pain & irritation. If you don't want to be constantly irritated, think twice about this dress. But if you don't mind like I do, then go for it. I have no regrets =)

The dress if very beautiful however, it runs VERY short! I am 5'4" and this barely hit the floor when I was barefoot. I had to rush around the day before our engagement photos and make an under layer so I could still wear the dress. I also would've worn the 0, but one of the straps broke when I tried it on. The straps are extremely tight (which I'm assuming is why one broke), but they are bearable if you don't have to wear this dress for long.

fits well, dress is very heavy, but looked great and I got a lot of complements. Sequins irritated skin around the arms, but I did wear it a good 8 or 9 hours!

the dress is gorgeous, however its short…even without shoes you could see my ankles! didn't wear it, though i would've loved to!

I loved the color but it was hard to keep all of the sequins facing the right way. Also it was super short and that coming from a girl who is 5'3! Its also very heavy so be prepared. Other than that I really liked it.

This was the dress of my dreams, or so I thought. It weighed A TON and actually broke the hanger it came on. The sleeves, or strings as I called them, dug into my skin because the dress was soooo heavy and the arm holes were not big enough at all. I have sensitive skin and after 30 seconds of wearing it, my skin was bright red and irritated. Thankfully, RTR really came through with an upgrade. So customer service gets 5 stars, but the dress gets 3.

This dress is TOO short. I'm 5'7' and the size 4R was about 2-3 inches above my ankle. The dress is also really heavy and is not flattering. It definitely adds width and feels so fragile.

I'm 5'5" so it is not often that I can say that a dress was just too short for me to wear. I rented both the 2R and the 4R, tried the 4 first, and it was about 2" off the ground, even before I put on heels. Even if the dress did fit, I'm not sure it would be appropriate for the occasion. To say that the dress is blingy is an understatement, and the photo doesn't do the dress justice. This would be a fun dress, but it just didn't work for the occasion. It is also very, very heavy.

I rented this dress for a photoshoot, and was incredibly disappointed in the entire fit of the dress. The size was correct, but the shape of the bust seams basically made my breasts look like pancakes (bra doesn't help) and the way the sequins were sewn made my hips (I'm athletic (I'm a serious triathlete) but have some curves) seem huge. It's far too heavy to tape, and clips wouldn't work because of the position I was in in the shoot. It would have helped if I could have gotten it to cinch in around my waist to realign the sequins but the dress is too heavy to do so. I ended up wearing my own dress for the shoot because no way did I want myself to look that horrible in a photoshoot. Very disappointing overall.
