Think I must have received a dress with a stretched out waistband because it has zero shape and doesn't look anything like the photos. Even a size down in this shape would look like a sack (see photo 2). Since they don't have a replacement in either size I'll just wear it belted which makes it look cute anyway. As another reviewer noted the arms are very tight if you have large biceps - I had to undo the bottom button to make it fit my arms.

This dress is amazing, but I love most everything from Z&V. The skulls sold me on it. Wore it to a lunch date with bright whites. Arms were a bit tight, but I have big arms. Sleeves have buttons so I just unbuttoned the bottom button and it was fine. Pockets are a bonus. I’d definitely rent again.

keeping this dress til i can buy it prob lol. it’s so feminine and flattering but a little edgy. i have worn to work with heels, to dinner with booties, and on my honeymoon for vineyard tastings in napa with sneakers, and for just walking around laguna beach with sandals. the waist gives the most flattering figure, and the high-low length is beautiful as well. it’s very light fabric but the waist also keeps it from blowing away in the wind! obsessed.

I loved this dress and deemed it "buy worthy." The fabric was lightweight and flowed perfectly. It has cinched waist, pleats that don't add bulk, and pockets thst lay perfectly. Loved the sleeves and length being shorter in front and colors were pretty- beautiful dress!

Great spring dress. Glad I went with a medium than normal small. Cool skull graphic weaved into the fabric. Worn without sweater made me look like I had larger belly.

This dress ran small for me but I ordered up and it fit. Still a bit snug. I thought the print was unexpected and fun.

This dress was so small I couldn't wear it. I'm normally small top/medium bottom. I got small because the dress looked loose on the bottom. Unfortunately the waist is so small (elastic in the back) that it creased in the middle on me. The sleeves were also tight around my biceps . As I was debating whether to try wearing it once, I decided I didn't really like the print & that's when I noticed the skulls scattered among the flowers. Not what I expected. Also, fabric is thin, inexpensive poly.

Fit was flattering. The elastic waist was a touch too strong but doable. The skulls were awesome.

Because of the bunched fabric in the front, this is both a forgiving and awkward cut. It was very comfortable so a win for me and I LOVE the hidden skull hearts in the pattern. I was comfortable and felt like I had a little secret.

I love this dress so much. The skulls hidden amongst the flowers is just THE most fun and surprising detail of this dress. This is my second time renting it. I wish it were within my budget to own!

Very easy to wear and I got plenty of compliments. I wore it out to lunch. You could easily dress it up with heels and jewelry or wear it more casually with flats.

Tough fit for me but if you have a longer torso and smaller waist, it’s a beautiful dress!

Love this dress! I got so many compliments when I wore it at work. It fit well, and I didn't have gaping at the buttons on the top like other may have mentioned. It was so pretty. I will say, plan to wear a slip under this dress as it is not lined.

This dress was so pretty and flattering, and it somehow made my curvy hips look narrow. I got a lot of compliments and felt comfortable. I rented it for a party but also wound up wearing it to work several times because I liked it so much. I'm a 6 in dresses and the M was perfect.

The pattern of this dress is very cute. However, it was very tight in the arms and it kind of made me look like I had a baby bump. I would recommend for size 0, 2, 4.... any bigger and I don't think you will be happy with it.

This is a pretty dress. It was just not flattering on me. Made me look like I had a bigger stomach pooch than I really do. And it fit in the waist but was super tight and uncomfortable and I have a small waist. The fabric was light and pretty. The top of the dress fit true to size. Wanted it to work but just couldn't do it. :(

The too tight waist means it is less flattering all over. Frumpy. Disappointing.

I don't have any fat in the mid area but this dress makes your stomach look like it poofs out. Uncomfortable!

Material is pretty thin, so this would be a better dress for spring than fall when I wore it, but like many other reviewers, I really loved the skulls in the pattern. They were subtle and not noticed by others unless I pointed them out, but I knew they were there and enjoyed them!

It was perfect for work. A little big, maybe size down for a more taylored look.
