I read the reviews and ordered a size down for the “too large in the chest area” reviews… but I’m glad we still kept the original size, it fit my daughter perfectly, no extra space or gaps. The zipper was a bit tough to get up, but other than that no complaints. She had a great time at prom, thanks RTR for helping her feel extra beautiful! 🤩

I recommend sizing up. I’m a size 10 and I wore a 14. It’s a beautiful and lightweight dress. I wore it to my work’s gala with an “out of this world” theme.

This dress is beautiful, perfect for a black tie wedding. The color is gorgeous and I got so many compliments! My bust is on the small side so while it fit perfectly around the waist, it was a little big on top. Highly recommend!

I wore this for a gala and got so many compliments! Was such a beautiful gown. I totally forgot to pack jewelry and wish I would’ve had a dainty, sparkly necklace and bracelet. The dress has sewn in cups but I still wore a strapless bra to help keep it up.

I loved this dress! It was so stunning and I got so many compliments. This dress is larger in the bust as others have mentioned; I’m a 32B, but this dress worked with a padded strapless bra. I ordered a 4 hoping that it wouldn’t be too tight in the waist (my measurements are 32/28/40), but would be small enough in the bust and that worked for me. Overall I recommend this dress if you can make it work with your body!

I wore this to a wedding in southern CA in the summer. I wanted something pretty and colorful. The fit was perfect, I didn’t have to tug or pull it up and I could dance for hours. Lots of compliments, and I felt gorgeous

I did my measurements and it said I was a 10/12 but I ended up fitting in my size 6 backup size. My normal size is size 6/8. I took another reviewers advice and used fashion tape. The dress was comfortable and beautiful. I loved it!

This was a great dress to wear to a black tie wedding in Charleston! I’m 170 lbs, 5’4, and usually wear a size 8; only a 10 was in stock, so I went with it. There is zero stretch, so I’d rather have it a smidge big than too small. I felt pretty, and this dress was really easy to dance in!

RTR sent a free backup size which I was grateful for but I ended up wearing the original size I ordered. The built in bra didn’t lay correctly, it looked like it had been warped from dry cleaning or something but it isn’t super apparent in photos unless you’re looking. You could definitely get away with wearing a bra insert with this dress, but I didn’t. Very beautiful dress & I got lots of compliments but this dress was definitely made for bustier girls.

Loved this dress. Had to pull it up a few times even with extra bra padding and fashion tape, but I also have a small top. Be careful on steps because I kept catching the bottom with my heels.

This dress is beautiful! I received so many compliments. I echo the other reviews that state that the bodice of this dress is best suited for those who have C-D+ cup sizes. I do not think this would fit someone who wears an A-B cup, unless you have a broader chest. I really relied on reviews to help me decide on a size, so hopefully this assessment is helpful. My measurements are 32C-27-37 (5'7", 135lbs) and I felt like the size 4 fit perfectly, though it would have fit better if I was a 34D. Like the other reviewers said, the bodice is odd. The cups look like they would fit a B/C, but the wiring causes the top to jut out and makes your chest/waist look boxier than it is. The waist fit a bit small proportionately to the bust, but the lining fabric (beneath two layers of tulle) has some stretch, so it was okay. I wore it with 3" heels and the dress hit about 1/2-1" above the floor (perfectly covering shoes but not dragging). Overall, I loved the dress and would recommend it if your measurements align with the fit.

Absolutely LOVED this dress. Still receiving complements weeks after wearing it. Definitely size up if you have a large chest/rib cage. Normally I always wear a size 12, but I had to wear the size 14 and it took multiple sets of hands to sit it up since the zipper gets a little wonky. It also will fold in the bust area if you have boobs which was a little annoying. It has an interior corset like zipper and then the main zipper. No stretch whatsoever on the outer zipper/fabric. But I felt so beautiful in the dress and it's definitely a show stopper. I wore it to a black tie met gala theme wedding - had wedding guests and the hotel staff coming up to me telling me how much they loved the dress!

Loved this dress and felt like an absolute princess. However, there was what I would call a hidden corset at the top (2 zippers- one interior and one exterior) that was pretty tight on my ribs. The dress was secure, and I did not feel like I was hanging out of it up top, but the boning and corset we’re a little bit tighter than I found comfortable. It ended up working well.

Loved this dress! Wore it to a formal ball during springtime and got so many compliments. P comfortable and great for twirling. The one con is that if you have bigger tits, the bodice creases right beneath the bust line. Fashion tape or a really great strapless bra might help with this!

I wore this dress to a black tie wedding at a Texas ranch in April. The quality was amazing and overall is super dreamy, and I loved wearing it. My only complaint is the fit - without exact measurements to go off of and no reviews, seeing the model was wearing a 4 I ordered a 6 with a backup size of an 8. The 6 almost fit around the waist but the bust was entirely too large. It seemed as though the wait to bust proportions were designed for someone with more of a true hourglass figure (I have a pretty athletic build) as the bust was nowhere close to fitting securely. I am smaller chested so if you have a larger chest you might be fine, but I had to wear a padded strapless bra and use fashion tape so that it wouldn't gap in the front as it is so structured there is no other way of getting around it. In hind-sight I should have ordered a 4 as my true size - it might have been a little snug around the waist but probably would have fit better in the chest, which is important with a strapless gown. TLDR: order true to size!

Wear a fun dress to a wedding like this. It was so fluffy and fun to spin in. Caution that in VERY low and bluish light it can look near white but in regular lighting it is very clearly distinct from any wedding dress

The dress was large in the bust, but it dazzled. Wish I could wear it every night.

I wore the size 2, because the bust in the 4 was far too large. The 2 was snug, so needed assistance with the zipper. The built in bra allowed me to wear this strapless gown & dance the night away. Sooo many compliments!

SUCH a gorgeous dress, I am sad it did not fit. I think the 0 would have been the right size for me -- the 2 was gaping in the bust area, fit in the waist w/ some room. my measurements are 27in waist, bust 34A. I am usually between a 2 and a 4, and according to the Zac Posen size guide that's where I should be, so the dress definitely ran large.

I wore the size four because the six was too big in the chest. The dresss was tight - but not too tight. I felt good in it but the zipper was SO hard to get up and required two adults. It was hard to move on both dresses.

This dress is adorable but not quite bump- friendly unless you’re very small still. No stretch and boning comes down past ribs.

perfect for a wedding

I was really excited to wear this dress for a black-tie wedding, but unfortunately, the bust on the dress was HUGE and I had way too much gaping to actually wear the dress. The color was a really vibrant lavender - I was worried it might be light / too close to white, but the color was obviously purple.

couldn't wear this as it didn't fit well at all. proportions were off for my body sadly (very loose / roomy in the bust area)
