The dress was pretty true to size. The sleeves added a nice classy touch and it received mAny compliments. The dress definitely looks better on then on the pictures, Or when it comes in the bag I was pleasantly surprised.

Dress was beautiful! Dresses are a hard fit for me since I am very busty with a big booty. For me, when I sat down, the slip under the lace rode up pretty high so I was thankful for the dinner napkin. However, this is the exception rather than the rule for everyone else. Dress was actually comfortable and no spanx was required to hide any body imperfections.

Would definitely rent again, but in a large. The large wasn't available, so I settled for the medium and thankfully it fit, barely. Like other reviews, I would say it's tighter than expected in the bust. Work it to a winter work holiday party.

I received a ton of complimenta on the dress. It was beautiful; however, there was aome apparent wear on the dress, which was a little disappointing. The fit was mostly true to size. I would order your typical size and one up. The skirt rides up when you sit down a little.

Went with the larger size so I had room to dance. Perfect balance between sexy and classy. I had broad shoulders and was worried it wouldn’t fit right and was perfect.

Just remember if your hips are a little wider, the lining under the lace has no “give”. Upsize or pass on this one. Also there was a tag attached to the dress and it said it cannot be returned if it is removed. It hung very low so you could see it under the dress. I ended up having to tuck it with tape to keep it concealed .

Im about 5'1 and curvy. Was perfect in the bustline and also fit perfectly in the butt! It was so comfortable and form fittinf bht i was still able to sit and dance comfortably, which a lot of midi dresses make it hard to do! Was a little bigger in the arms, neck, and armpit area– but only i could tell! I ordered a M and L And probably couldve done the Small! Love this dress!

The lace on this number is stunning. My only complaint is that it was loose on my waist, although I ordered an XS. It's such a beautiful piece that I would have loved for it to have been fitted but wore it to formal nonetheless.

So with this dress, I absolutely loved it! The only downfall about this dress that it was MASSIVE on my waist!! If it were my dress, I would of have to taken about 5 inches off the waist. But the crazy part is that the entire dress fit perfectly except that waist (the hips were a bit big too). I almost didn't wear it but I really wanted to make it work. I had to wear a sash on my waist so it could loom somewhat defined and it solved my problem. But for it being an XS, I was very disappointed that it didn't fit like I read and thought it would.

5'3" 158 lbs 38D- got a M and L and had to wear the L (medium was too small). Large fit well, slightly tight in bust, and there was a weird area in the hip that poked out. Looked classy for a black tie charity event. And loves the lace detail. Ended up twinning with another woman at our table though her dress was long but basically the same.

I rented this for a 20's themed gala I was working and it was perfect! I am very busty and while it was definitely a team effort to get zipped, once I was it it felt fabulous. I did have a few downsides though, as a tall girl the underlayer was VERY short. As in, if I hadn't worn tights I would've been showing off the biz. Also, the material is not super breathable so by the end of the night I was a little ripe. But, I still loved the dress, loved the compliments, and was so comfortable all night.

Wore this dress to an annual awards ceremony. Not the best for curvy fits, since the dress doesn't have stretch. Still looked great.

I wore this dress to see my first Broadway show in NYC (Anastasia!). I was a little concerned that it would be too long on me, but it hit at a flattering mid-calf point. I loved the lace, fit, and open shoulders. My only complaint was that it jutted in a little on one side near the bottom (as you can see in the picture). This may have just been the case for this specific dress, and it likely wasn't very noticeable. Overall, this is a striking dress for any wintry formal occasion!

It was my first time renting a dress and I cant wait to do it again! The experience was great and the dress was beautiful. I rented medium but the bust size was a bit small. The large wa perfect but not too fitting which gave me room to dance the night away.

I rented this dress for a work awards dinner. It fit great and concealed all my trouble spots. I received a ton of compliments. Also, the lace was softer than I expected making comfortable to wear.

I was a little uncertain about this dress in pictures but im glad i took the chance on it because i absolutely loved it! I would say the fit is true to size, the only complaint i had was the lining did rid up when you sat down but other than that it was a great dress.

Beautiful dress

There were no reviews when I rented the dress, which may have been the difference between me liking the dress and not liking it. It was simply too big. It doesnt look too bad on I guess. I wore the small (I'm usually a small or medium) but probably needed an extra small. Ive never worn a cold shoulder fitted dress, so not sure if it is normal to not be able to raise your arms up above straight out. That was annoying but I wasn't dancing or anything so it wasn't a huge deal. The arms just there by my sides were not tight or restrictive. The waist and hips were too big so I felt more matronly and less sexy because it wasn't form fitting (personal preference). I chose to wear a strapless bra which filled out the chest more than without one so that helped a little with the fit. The dress is airy and light weight so I definitely needed a jacket to keep me warm. The neck is high and wasnt tight until you sit down. Then it was uncomfortable! I tried to adjust the material I was sitting on to loosen it up, but that did not work. Luckily I only rented this for date night, fiance liked it. If it was for a special occasion I may have been disappointed and not worn it. Also on a side note I couldn't tell in the model photos, but there is a slit in the front of the dress lace part so it was wasy to walk in. Length was fine on my 5'4" frame (obviously the slip underneath is shorter than the lace but the slip still provided enough coverage) Pretty dress, just not for me.

Pros; fit a bit bigger than expected so I could eat and still feel comfortable. Cons: can ride up a bit when you sit which can be a bit uncomfortable if you have larger thighs (like myself). Other than that; it was perfect and everyone thought it looked wonderful!

Glad they sent two sizes, usually wear 6 or S but was too tight in chest so wore M. Got lots of compliments for the uniqueness of this dress.

Dress was cute but not my style

This dress is really beautiful, and it was the perfect thing for an indoor/outdoor fall wedding. Reading other reviews, I realized that getting the sizing right for this dress was going to be tricky. Both the XS and S fit well in some places and not in others - If you have a column/rectangular body shape without a really defined waist, this dress will be flattering and fit well. It might help to be average/ tall height as well, since the waist area will align differently with your body. However, since I'm a petite pear shape with smaller bust and waist than hips neither size I ordered was perfect- The XS was a little big in the bust, very baggy in the waist, and very snug on the hips. The S worked in the hip area, but was quite baggy elsewhere. I ended up wearing the XS with some spanx to make it work, and got lots of compliments on the dress - I recommend this dress, but make sure to order the next size up just in case!

After reading reviews this dress ran large I ordered an M. Im usually between a 10 & 12. The dress is very pretty and flattering however if you are large in the bust or ribcage it doesnt work. Im a 36 DD and could not zip the bust area. Otherwise it was very nice, flattering and fit well in the hips and waist. I will reorder a Large and try again.

The design of the dress is gorgeous BUT if you have a C cup with a butt or thighs, it's going to fit awkward. The bust is made way too tight compared to the rest of the fit and the slip underneath raises up when you walk and sit so you'll have to be sure that you keep a eye on it. The bust was so tight my breast looked taped down. I chose not to wear it for those reasons.
