The details on this dress are outstanding, how the black lace plays with the off white lace is stunning! A bit short for my ladies 5'8 or above but well worth it. I received so many compliments!

I LOVED this dress! The detail was beautiful, fit like a glove, comfortable, and flattering. I would rent again in a heart beat. I love how unique, classy, and beautiful it was.

I was worried the slip provided would be too short but it ended up being fine. Lots of compliments all night long. The longer sleeves were perfect for an evening event without making you hot. Classic look, great with heels or flats.

I didn't realize the slip and dress were separate. The slip was very thin and see through. The dress overall looked very dull. It fit true to size but just didn't feel special.

I went to an engagement shower for my best friend in Cleveland. I didn't want to spend the money on a new dress (especially on the caliber of dress I was looking for)-- so I found Rent The Runway! I am beyond ecstatic that I did! I loved this dress and it fit me perfectly (I am 5'3", about 135 lbs, wear a size 6, and a 36C). The shower was at a very upscale country club so I wanted something classy but still stood out. Oh my gosh! This dress did that and more! I felt so confident and got complimented by every person there and even some of the staff. I can't rave enough about this dress. The texture of the dress is thick and raised in the velvet part which adds interest to it. So if you're looking for something classy but still a show stopper-- this is your dress! (Sidenote: My backup dress was just as gorgeous that I had such a hard time choosing! Even harder to send them both back)!

Rented for my rehearsal dinner. Skeptical of the design on this dress where the black lace would start around the tummy area but loved it! Dress is 2 pieces and I wore the 8 with both. The size 6 under fit but I thought the 8 was a bit looser and felt better. The size 6 fit but was very tight- probably couldn't move my arms much if I wore it. Quality lace that helps flatter your figure not just hug it like cheaper lace dresses do. The "white" is more. of an ivory or off white but it looks great

This was my favorite dress that I've ever rented from RTR. I rented it to attend an Air Force ALS graduation with my husband. I had a baby 9 months ago and wanted to wear something classy and made me feel sexy. I work out a lot and have an athletic build, so I have trouble finding a dress that fits well in the arms and chest. The dress was amazing. I wore a size 8 and had plenty of room to move but it fit very well. I was comfortable all evening. I received so many compliments, turned heads and felt like a movie star! After the graduation, we took full advantage of having a babysitter and had a little date to a local pub for a drink. I didn't want to take this dress off! Lol

Glamorous dress, true to size

This is by far my favorite dress ive rented from RTR! I got it for a work event that was black & white themed. I got so many compliments on the dress and felt so pretty wearing it. The fit is just right. I did wear spanks wih the dress, and i appreciated the fact the dress did a good job at hiding them. Would definitely recommend this dress to anyone!

I was really worried about renting a dress as i tent to not fit regular sizes well, imusually in between. But this dress fit perfectly. It was comfortable and i got a ton of compliments on it.

Loved this dress! However- you need a slip! The dress is completely see through and neither my size or backup came with a slip. I had to scour the internet and found one at target, so it worked out! Loved the dress so so much and got non-stop compliments!

Fits perfect and true to size. I usually wear a 4 and it fit great. It is two pieces and the slip may seem short to some but I did feel covered enough with the lace overlay. Would totally wear this again!

Rented this for a work event: Black & White Gala. Very comfortable & flattering dress. One caution - zipper was tricky to get all the way to the top, unassisted. Needed an assist on the way in, to get all zipped up. Asked for assist from co-worker to start the zipper on my way out. :) Would definitely rent this dress again.

I wanted to rent something that I probably wouldn't buy. This was perfect. It is so distinct you can't really wear it to more than one event because it is so memorable and unique. All the other reviews were very helpful. In summary, it is two pieces, a slip and a separate dress. I have large arms and it wasn't as snug as I expected, that is usually my problem.

I rented this for a black tie optional wedding. It is a short dress but the beading and detail of this dress makes it so dressy. I received so many compliments on this dress. My only complaint was it was a very stiff, not stretchy material. And it's also very short! So I sized up to the 4 from a usual 2.

Typical fit for the size. No stretch in the material. The white under slip wrinkles and gathers easily, even with pressing. Maybe it was too big? Length was good for my short frame. Overall a win. Felt confident and comfortable in this dress.

Gorgeous dress- I received lots of compliments from strangers who I passed by! It is sheath style but it's not to boxy even with my petite frame. It also pleasantly hit above my knee which was a plus! I wore it again with a thin belt which gave it a more fitted and shorter look. Would rent again

This dress was absolutely beautiful in person. I have a longer torso, so I was pleasantly surprised to find the length was perfect! One caveat, this dress comes in 2 pieces. The top (dress itself) is completely sheer, so they include a white slip, but I felt this still left me feeling a little uncomfortable. I opted to wear a nude fitted bra dress under the slip for extra coverage, but other than that. The dress was amazing and I wish I owned it!

Comfortable fit, I wore size 2. Arms fit nicely. I had a little room in the bust, but it wasn't so much that anyone would notice but me. Lace was beautiful and the length was perfect. Loved this dress, I felt like a star!

Like the other reviewers stated, it's important to know it's 2 pieces, an underlay and the top part of the dress. I actually mixed between the size 6 underlay and the 8 top portion - my arms are a little thick and I needed the room to semi dance without looking like I was doing 'the Elaine'.

I wore the 10 slip because it was slightly looser than the 8 slip. I wore the 8 dress. Overall well made dress. Not too much stretch to it. Pattern on the sleeves made my arms look heavier than usual.

This dress fit like a glove and in my opinion hugged in all the right places. The dress is a bit heavier than I expected, which worked good in the cold winter months. The detail is very impressive and it was a definite stand out dress. I would rent it again in a heart beat!

This dress does run small. I'm normally a 6-8 and am glad I sized up to a 10. It's also quite short. You'll want to wear a nude strapless bra with it. The slip that comes with it is pretty translucent. Overall, a fun dress.
