Love this gown! Would rent again!

This dress was absolutely perfect in every way and definitely one of my favorite RTR dresses thus far! It was extremely comfortable (especially when you can wear a regular bra with is), elegant, chic and sexy all in one! What more could you ask for?! I wore this dress for a black tie event and it was perfect for the occasion as well. I ordered a 0R and a 2R as back-up and I ended up wearing the 0R which fit like a glove. I'm 5'3" and the length was perfect with 3" heels as well. The dress would honestly work with heels shorter or taller than that as well because of the high slit. The lace in the front is not sheer so you can definitely wear a regular bra with it. The dress looks absolutely stunning on and I would definitely rent it again!!!

I am 5'2" and weigh 110 lbs. My bust is a 32 DD. This wasn't the dress I originally ordered, it was a backup they sent when my dress wasn't available last minute. The picture doesn't show the color very well, but the color was beautiful and matched the website. This dress fit very well and made me feel pretty and classy. I wore 4 inch heels and the dress still went all the way to the floor, so it was a tad bit long but it didn't cause any trouble so it was fine. It was a little too modest for my taste and it didn't seem to be a "WOW" dress as it is pretty simple, but I really loved the slit in the dress and the open back, they still let me feel sexy. I also like how I was able to wear a bra with this dress as the open back doesn't go too high. It does also seem like it would show a lot of imperfections. I couldn't even wear underwear with this dress because it just showed every bump. Overall, the dress was very comfortable and fit very well. It would be a perfect dress for someone who wanted to look gorgeous but also be a little more modest.

This was my first RTR experience and I was nervous about it. I had a difficult event - black-tie wedding of the son of a work colleague. This dress was truly perfect. I got so many compliments that I wished it were mine! Get a size larger as the backup, and plan for control top hose. Could have worn a strapless black bra (lace is really opaque), but opted for stick-on instead. You do need something there because the fabric isn't thick enough to go without.

RTR sent me this as an emergency replacement after the dress I had reserved 2 months prior somehow became unavailable. I usually go between a size 4 and 6, so I was nervous that the 6 they sent me would be too big, but it actually fit perfectly. The color is more plum than it looks on the website, and the black lace panels are not see through when you put the dress on. I was pretty disappointed that I didn't receive the dress I had originally ordered, but I received a ton of compliments on this dress and it was very comfortable to dance in all night long. Gold jewelry and black heels/clutch go great with this.

This dress fits true to size and is beautiful. The style is also flattering for most body types and I received many compliments throughout the night.

This is a beautiful dress with an awesome fit. Don't let the slit scare you too, the dress has a bit of stretch to it which works great for ladies with curves. It was so comfortable. You can get away with wearing a bra if you would like, but I went without since it fit so close. The lace in the middle and bottom of the chest is not see through either. The dress is also pretty long, even with my 5 inch heels on (no platforms). The color is a purple-ish red, just gorgeous. After my pre-selected jumpsuit fell through last minute (kudos to Rent the Runway's costumer service!) , this saved the day and made my night. Thanks RtR!

Great fit! But a little too short. I'm 5'9" and had to wear a short heel in order for it to work. Overall, a great dress!

The dress was comfortable and forgiving. The way the cut out on the back was I was able to wear both a great pair of spanx and a normal bra. As long as you have a black bra on the lace on the front is not see-through. I would suggest this to any curvy woman looking to make a statement and look classy.

This dress is so chic and elegant. I would recommend sizing down as there is not much room in the midsection. You need to defeintely wear a nu bra due to the see through panel down the chest and open back. Overall a great sleek outfit for any formal event!

Fun color, very flattering. Loved the slit in the front and the cut out in the back.

This dress made me feel amazing. (It does hug you in every place so if you are self conscious in any area id recommend spanx.) it was a perfect length to wear a normal heel (i am 5'5") I am a size 2 normally and the 2R was perfect, fit like a glove! Beautiful color and lace black detail was enough to make it perfect for a charity gala I was attending. The slit was high but not too high to show anything.

I loved this dress! Was a little out of my comfort zone but fit was great ! The material is very thin and shows everything, and the slit is a bit high, FYI. Also, I am 5'7" and I felt like the dress was a little short for me, even in very low heels.

I would recommend going a size smaller to keep everything tight, especially if you are planning to wear Spanx. Length is perfect with a 5 inch heel and do not worry about the slit it stops just before things get weird.

Rented this dress for a black tie wedding, made my feel super sexy. Only bad part is the fabric shows everything so I recommend spanx if you have any tummy.

Very comfortable & classy. I brought about 3 other dresses with me to this hotel event and ended up going with this one. For a long night the comfort of the dress seemed to be the right choice for New Years eve plus it's a decent mix of sexy and elegant.

I usually wear a 2 but decided to go for the 4 to have more give. I love this dress. It has an ease and drape that would look good on anyone. The need for tummy control could be something to consider since it is a more fitted look. I wish all my dresses felt like this. I like how I feel in this dress, but then again, I don't like stiff dresses.

I loved this dress. It had really nice heavy but stretchy give, so it also hung really well. The opening in the back was really fun but I could still wear a bra. The slit up the leg was a little high for the church wedding, but it also was just acceptable enough and at the church I wore a black over shawl which covered skin well. I could wear this to a few different events if I kept it. Loved it!

The dress fit amazing. It was super comfortable. Very flattering and sexy with the slit up the thigh, but not too sexy. You can wear a regular bra with this.

Fit well all around, slit is a little high if you're short.

Color was beautiful, detailing was amazing, and the dress fit perfectly. (I'm 5'3" and it wasnt too long with 3" heels.) Easily one of the most gorgeous dresses I've ever worn.

Fits true to size, color is more purple than it appears in photo. Must wear Spanx because the jersey material clings to your body. I was afraid lace panels would be see- through but they are opaque.

While I did not end up wearing this to my gala event, it fit well on my 5' 3" frame. The material was lightweight and even offered a little stretch. Would definitely consider for a warmer weather event.

Beautiful dress but wear your spanx!

I'm 5'4 and half-ish " and the 2R was perfect size for me and length was not too long that able to go barefoot for dancing too... Dress still looked good with 3 inch heels. For me, the 4R had a little bit of extra space in the back / waist area.

Fit perfect everywhere except length although I am petite. I wore 3" heels which worked. The gown still touched the floor a bit but I was still able to walk and mingle.

The dress fit true to size, was comfortable and I was able to wear a black bra underneath (the lace becomes opaque against your skin). Just wasn't a show-stopper, as compared to the other dresses I've rented from RTR.

I did love this dress, although it ran a little snug (I'm busty). However, it was way too short (at my ankles) as a "regular" size, even though I'm only 5'4".
