I rented this on the recommendation of my friend even though I am conscientious of my upper arms: I am glad I did. At 5'5", 140lbs., the size 8P fit just right. The slit is cut so that you don't have to worry about it flying open. The bias cut of the gown helps it fit comfortably; in fact, it was almost like wearing nothing because dress doesn't bind or pull. I wore 4" heels and didn't have to worry about the dress dragging on the floor.

I love the chic simplicity of this gown. The sleek silhouette offers an edgy yet elegant look. There is an edgy cutout on the shoulder with a dramatic but tasteful slit in the front. Running true to size, I recommend sizing up for your backup if you are curvier. It is fitted at the waist and hips and seems to work great with any bust size. However, the fabric of this dress is very stretchy As you must go bra-less with this style, I would suggest investing in a nu-bra. It appears to be floor length with 3" heels.

This dress was so much fun to wear! The wedding I went to was more formal and the dress was perfect for it. The jersey material was extremely comfortable and I was able to dance all night in it. The one sleeve was perfect and really amped up the dress. The slit in the front was super fun and was draped perfectly. When you sit down the dress will open a little, but it is the perfect amount of leg and cut in the perfect place. I received a ton of compliments on this dress and had a blast wearing it. Definitely rent it!

The material is very stretchy and comfortable. Of course black goes with anything, and even though I am pretty pale, it didn't wash me out! However, a downside was that undergarment lines can easily be seen through the dress. Also, the slit in the middle can be a bit awkward to sit with at times. All in all the dress was great!
