With my wide hips & small waist, I often have a hard time finding dresses but after reading a few reviews, this dress sounded like it just might work and it did better than "just work" on me. I LOVED this dress - it's got the perfect amount of stretch to comfortably hug my body and make me look great! The lines were perfect too so that I could wear with a regular bra without any problem too. Gorgeous color, which can be worn with any other accessory color.

I have always been the friend that was cute, or something along those lines. I have pretty much no curves and a smaller chest. This dress made me feel and look sexy though! It was a miracle! 20 years of life and this dress did what I thought was impossible. The dress doesn't have a lot of give but it has enough that you don't feel exposed. The cut outs are perfectly place to give the illusion of curves. When I was looking at the picture I was iffy because I couldn't tell if a bra would work with the dress but it did! Which was a life saver because as I mentioned,I'm not working with too much. haha. But seriously, this dress was amazing. I kept getting compliments all night. People just couldn't get enough of it.

I wore this dress to my work holiday party in downtown Denver. I ordered both a 4 & 6. Both sizes fit, but I ended up wearing the 6 because I felt more comfortable. I wore black nylons and black ankle boots to make it a little more winter/work appropriate. The cut outs are tasteful rather than scandalous and the material is very forgiving. The color of the dress is more of a redish purple than a cranberry, which is what I originally thought. The length is the perfect length for a work function. Overall, a great dress, flattering, and classy with a hint of sexy.,

Great color. Form fitting. V-neck is not as dramatic as it appears on the model. Fabric is very lightweight. Dress is less structured than I imagined.

Loved this dress. Super comfortable. Has a stretch to it, which is perfect for dancing and moving around. It hugs you in all the right places. Love the little peak throw lace. I ordered an 8 and 10 and went with the 10. The 8 fit, but felt a bit short. I would say go a size up. Definitely would recommend this to others!

This dress was so incredibly flattering and I loved everything about it! The cut outs are tasteful because of the lace overlay. I was also able to wear a strapless bra without an issue. This dress was incredible comfortable and I was so sad to send this dress back. I cannot say enough good things about this dress. I very highly recommend this dress!

The dress was really comfortable and I danced in it all night long! It was sexy, but still appropriate and very flattering. I would say it has a more purple hue than displayed by the picture. I would definitely recommend renting this dress!

This dress is a winner. I received SO many compliments. It was extremely comfortable and I was easily able to dance and wear it all night without itching to take it off. The cutoffs are very tasteful and it was more than appropriate for a wedding. My feeling was that the dress ran small and like others have said, it does hug close to you. Would HIGHLY recommend this dress!

This dress was comfortable, beautiful and perfectly suited for a black tie optional summer (or fall) wedding. The color was stunning (more purple than it appears online) and the fit was perfect. Only cons were a droopy hemline and a zipper bump at the tailbone. Otherwise, so comfortable and a great dancing dress. Travels easy and no need to iron! I will rent this one again!

The color, texture, and fit of this rich wine colored number made it an absolutely perfect dress for a formal summer wedding! The cut was sophisticated and felt covered enough, while the peek-a-boo cut outs made it feel young with just a touch of edge. I opted to wear the size 6 instead of 8 because I felt it had enough stretch while fitting better around the midsection. I'm a tall girl 5'10" with a pair of 4" tall wedges - yet the length of this dress still felt appropriate for a fancy summer wedding. I received compliments from women all night long (not to mention my husband simply loved it!) and I would absolutely rent this stunner again! RTR, you've done it again! Simply the best!

I ordered a 2 and a 4. The 4 fit but I went with the 2 because it was tighter and showed my curves better :) This dress was amazing. It did just enough. The lace cut outs are very sexy and placed strategically where it's still classy!! Loved this dress so much my boyfriend wanted me to rent it the next week for another wedding! I'm 5'2 and weigh 132 size 34D and very hippy/curvy.

I loved this dress. I ordered both a 0 and A 2 and the 0 for like a glove. It was so comfortable and the color was perfect. I didn't need to wear a bra which was exciting and it was super breathable. Xo

Super comfortable, fitted dress and the color is so pretty- it would look great on any skin tone, plus it photographs really well! The "cut outs" on the sides and down the front were not too revealing (as others mention) and give the dress a little extra flair. They really show off the beautiful lace work as well! I'm about 5'2" and wore 3 inch heels and the dress hit a couple of inches above my knee. Since it's on the more fitted side I felt it was an appropriate length, especially for a wedding. I would definitely recommend this dress :) I paired it with the Kate Spade Opening Night Necklace and gold bangles.

This dress fit me exactly how I wanted it to. I don't have any complaints. The color and fit make it perfect for a summer or a winter event with a jacket.

I was nervous about this dress not fitting, because I'm smaller up top but have bigger hips. I normally wear anywhere from a 6-10 in dresses and a size 8 or 10 in jeans, but they only had a size 6 so I went for it. Luckily this dress fit amazingly! I might have been more comfortable in an 8 because it did ride up a little bit when I walked, but the material was just so comfortable and stretchy. It was a good length for a tall girl like me - what would be almost knee length on some girls ended up being the perfect short dress length on me. I wore a strapless bra with it and everyone kept telling me how pretty I looked. I'd definitely rent this dress again!

This dress was so far my favorite from RTR. It fit perfectly and had just enough sheerness to be sexy but not provocative. It was a perfect dress for the event I went to and got me compliments the entire night. It stretches and hugs the body perfectly. Definitely would recommend this one!!!

My first RTR dress! Absolutely amazing experience to wear a thousand dollar dress and no one else had it! If looks could kill I would be dead. Got the dress 2 days early, packaging and return package couldn't be easier. The dress was very stretchy, like lace panty stretchy, which I like, but wasn't expecting. A mother of 3, I like things a little looser in my tummy. I have a large bust and the crew neck made me look bustier. There was a small rip by the zipper. I was able to wear spanx and a nude strapless bra, which partially showed under my arms. Overall, it was AMAZING. A guy was staring at me so hard he ran into the wall and some women laughed out loud. It was also shorter than I expected. Sexiest dress I've ever worn. Can't wait for the next one next week!

The dress fit very snug and was flattering but the bottom slightly curled out wards which was a tiny bit irritating. All in all a fantastic dress

This dress leaves something to the imagination while still being super sexy. The wine color with lace is lovely combination!

A day before my dress was to arrive, RTR gave me a call saying my original dress was beyond repair and asked me to go on the site and pick a list of dresses for whatever price and they would send me what was available, delivered at the same time. This dress was my second choice on the list and I am SO glad it was the one as the fit, color, and length were perfect for a wedding. It does NOT look as revealing as on the model, the see-through lace was cut at appropriate places that gave a little sexy without being too noticeable or revealing. The length is not too short, so it counter balances the sexiness. The fabric is a soft stretchy fabric, not hard like how I originally imagined. Also, note that because it is not a very thick fabric it doesn't help keep things in, so if your stomach area is something you want to hide, this dress will make it more noticeable. Overall, an awesome, lovely dress, and wish I could have kept it! Also, I got mystery bling with this dress which were the Double Loops Pave Encrusted Earrings by Alexis Bittar. At first I wasn't so sure they would go well with the dress, but they did and took the outfit to another level!

This dress was comfy, sexy, fun. I could wear a regular (nude) bra. It really showed off my legs (I'm 5' 10" so it wouldn't be so short on others, but it was perfect -- not too short to sit, just short enough to turn heads!!).

I LOVED this dress- if you're considering it, you need to go for it. You can easily wear a strapless bra with it and its really comfortable, unique and so flattering on! Its running true to size and is an easy fit- I would size up for backup. The color is definitely more of a dark, classy (and really fall appropriate) purple in person, which is flattering on SO many people. I'd do this with cool earrings and a bracelet for some sparkle- you will love this dress!

Wore this to a Krewe of Cork mardi gras lunch. Love the wine color, great for blondes. The cut outs are flattering and slimming unlike some. Had a blast and felt so colorful.

I liked this dress. It was sexy without showing too much skin and I was able to wear a regular nude bra on it. Very comfortable as well. I probably should have ordered a size down as my backup. The smaller size I got was still a little big on me, causing it to bunch a bit in the back, but I was still able to wear it. I just think the next size down would have been more flattering, so I would recommend ordering down with your backup. The material is more stretchy and forgiving than I expected.

The size 0 seemed a bit over-worn so I opted for the size up. Fit was great, had a nice stretch to it and was comfortable enough to dance the night away in. The hem line had some rolling under and could have been better pressed to avoid an uneven line. All in all I got lots of compliments and felt great.

I am usually a size 4. I got the size 4 and 6, and the 4 fit perfectly so I went with that. It was formal enough for me to wear as a guest to a black tie optional wedding in the Santa Barbara Zoo, but fun and interesting enough for me to enjoy it! I love the lace. I did, however, hope that the shape of the dress with the lace cut-outs would be more figure-flattering. I felt like it just looked normal rather than slimming me down. But the dress was nice and cool when it was sunny out in the August day wedding, and when it got cooler at night, I just draped a shawl over that and it worked great. The material is stretchy, so there is enough give to be comfortable. Also, as always, super easy to return while traveling (just dropped it in the nearest UPS drop near our Cali bead and breakfast!)

This dress fit well-- although you need to make sure you wear the right underwear! It was a nice, soft, comfortable dress and it was easy to stay in it all night long!

I apologize for the silly pose...it was taken at the end of the night but the only one you could see the whole dress. The dress fit true to size, really comfortable since it is stretchy material. I maybe should have gone down to a size 0 because it did not flatter the behind very much, but I didn't mind it being a little loose and comfortable. What I did mind was the hem - it didn't lay flat even after attempting to iron it. Not a big deal because you can't tell unless you're looking for it. Overall, a pretty dress, appropriate for a wedding or formal event. The sheer cutouts on the side are not very revealing.

I was nervous to rent a cocktail dress since I wasn't 100% sure what the wedding attire was, so I needed something that would hold it's own in a crowd of long dresses if necessary. TOTALLY did! I am bottom heavy so I wore a size up to eliminate the 'sprayed on' look (not cute..or classy). The dress was in great condition, though the hem was doing something a little funky. Not noticeable though. Sexy enough for a 25yr old, sophisticated enough for a wedding. Going on my must have list!

I tried this on at the RTR studio downtown so sizes were limited. If I had my way, an 8 would have been slightly better in size (I'm not sure I would have fit into the dress two sizes smaller. I usually wear a 6 so I'll say it runs small). However, I still LOVED this dress. The cut outs were super sexy but since the lace was so conservatively cut, it didn't look trashy. Probably b/c of the size, but this dress was SO comfortable. I barely noticed I was wearing it all night and everyone loved it! Normal bra in black and tights worked fine with all of the cut outs.

Sorry for the blurry picture but it was the only one I had. The length was the perfect in-between for the St. Louis symphony and a night of bar hopping after. I loved the dress and the lace cutouts but beware the fabric isn't thick, which means it not only isn't particularly slimming but also stretches out throughout the night. The dress also showed a few signs of wear (which I expected with the lace fabric) but nothing too noticeable! Overall it was a gorgeous dress, and I would rent it again despite everything above!

Love the dress but the hem seems to be wearing on the bottom! Got lots of compliments! Would definitely wear this number again.
