Favorite dress!

The dress has a very forgiving material and runs a bit large. I would definitely recommend going down a size for a more fitted look.

I am usually a 0, but the 4 was basically perfect. It was a little loose around the chest, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a safety pin :)

It fits extremely well! I order it in 8L, because I'm 6 feet tall, and it was actually a little bit too long. It was very comfortable.

Super comfortable gown with easy undergarments. I wore it to the ACM Awards and received a ton of compliments on the red carpet. The long was plenty long, although I should have sized down (I usually wear a 6 or 8 and the stylist recommended a 10, the 8 would have been fine). I wore with a strapless bra and spanx type tummy panel shorts. Paired with Erickson Beamon Yours to Keep Emerald earrings which were PERFECT, along with thee Kenneth Jay Lane gold leaf cuff and nude peep-toe heels. Sure winner.

Color is a little darker than it appears in the photo but it's still beautiful! Tons of compliments. I read other reviews that said the material loosened up throughout the night and I did not experience this at all, it was perfect for the whole event! I wish I had a better picture of the full dress, but the only other one I have is from a far. Trust me, it is PERFECT

I'm close to 5'8, and the dress in the size "long" was perfect with a nice pair of peep toe shoes, it was comfy, which says a lot about a evening gown. I fit into the 10 in the body but the 12 fit my 38DD so I wore the 12

It fit great except for the length. I had to use hemp tape or it would have looked like a train behind me.

The fit was perfect! Very comfortable fabric that was not too clingy. The color was beautiful. Overall, great dress!

I wore this to a Mardi Gras ball and this dress is a definite show stopper. I had tons of compliments on it! I did have to wear 4.5" heels though. The dress is a little long if you're 5'3" or shorter. The material has some stretch to is which is great if you've got curves and the slit up the side was a favorite by far.

This dress was perfect for my friend's Miami wedding, with a black tie optional dress code. Very easy to dance in as well. My only complaint is the dress was difficult to get on, as there is no zipper. I waited to do my makeup after I put it on. Would probably be difficult to get over an up-do without destroying it.

Wore this dress to a black tie wedding. Beautiful color and great fit, just a little long on me (I wore 3 inch heels and had to pick it up a bit when I walked to avoid tripping).

I am so in love with this dress. I wore a size 4 and it was definitely loose on me but not so much that it was noticeable or looked bad. It was extremely comfortable and simply yet it looked so good. The material is light, but not thin, and so comfortable. The dress was a little long so you would have to wear it with 3-4 inch heels (if you're my height). I would wear this dress again and again!

The dress was beautiful. I received several compliments throughout the evening. It stood out in a sea of black dresses. I wore a size 2, but could have worn the zero for a more form fitting fit. ( it was not available) Definitely a winner!

The fit was true to size...except that it runs a bit long. I usually need the longer length once I put on 3 - 4" heels but probably could have gotten by with a regular length in the dress. The material was perfect for a spring formal event.

This dress is a beautiful color with a sexy slit. It has a weird seam with the inner liner that makes it feel like it's always bunching up, but you get used to it. Overall, it looks a little plain and would need to be dressed up with a nice wrap, shiny jewelry and heels, or even a big broach on the shoulder. It's fit is true to size and I would've gone with a size smaller if I would've known it fit so well.

This was my backup dress, but it ended up working out perfectly! I usually wear a size 6, but I ordered the 4L because the other reviews said that it ran large and stretched out easily. The 4L was a great fit, even long enough that I could wear 3 inch heels. I received so many compliments throughout the night and it really stood out amongst so many other black dresses. The only other comment is that the color is much different than the picture, it is definitely more green than teal, but it still ended up working well with my gold jewelry. Overall it was a great fit, a beautiful dress that really stands out in a crowd!

I ordered the only size left, a 4R. I usually wear between a 4 and 6 depending on the fit, so I was a little worried it wouldn't fit or it would be really tight. Suprisingly, it fit perfectly! The dress is a nice dress, but I think either it was poorly made or damaged because the lining under the dress would bunch up in some places so I could see lines through the dress. Also some of the hems on the side were a little crooked. The dress was too long, which was expected. The dress is pretty form fitting though especially in the tummy area. I found the bust area to be a little big for a size 4.

It's kind of a casual long dress. The fabric is simple cloth, pretty thin. But the fit is beautiful, adjusts perfectly to your curves and the leg opening and one shoulder are very sexy. Boyfriend was extremely happy.

The pros, the dress is beautiful, simple, and elegant. The slit was not nearly as high as it appeared in the photo. It was very comfortable to wear. The cons, the dress is too long. The fit was perfect everywhere else. I wore four and a half inch heels and still had a drape on the floor of about an inch. The real issue with the dress, however is the slip sown into the dress. The slip is short and is made of a different material than the dress. The issue is that the slip would bunch up and twist across the side and back as you walked. Since the dress is fitted, this could be very noticeable depending on the lighting.

the fit is very tight around the bust, but there is a lot of fabric around the midsection. this dress does not have zippers, so getting into the dress is a bit tricky - my shoulders are kind of big for a girl my size i guess. the length is perfect, i wore 3.5 in heels and the bottom of the dress touches the ground. overall it was a wonderful choice - the color is beautiful and the style is simple but classic.

Amazing color. Beautiful cut. Hugs all the right places. I got compliments all evening. But... There is a little slip that rides up to your waist all evening, doubling up and making "things in the mirror look larger then they appear" . It does seem to stretch throughout the evening (length wise). I started out with a strapless bra but found it was much better without a bra ( lines are very obvious) . Spanx would've been a good choice.

It's made of jersey , unforgiving fabric and is easy too be around, however it was the second dress I rented and I wore another one.

I rented this dress for a Mardi Gras Ball. It was pretty, but nothing special. The material had a lot of stretch and definitely stretched throughout the night. I generally wear a size 2- but there were none available so I wore a 4- which was a bit large, but worked ok- by the end of the night it was totally baggy.. There is a built in slip that kept riding up and gathering around my waist- so it looked sloppy and bulky. The material is more of a jersey knit- so it's not as formal as the picture makes it look. The dress I received also had 2 holes at the seem, which I was able to stitch and RTR did give a full refund- but it was really annoying to have to scramble at the last minute to sew a dress. All in all- it's a totally mediocre dress with no real wow factor.

Loved this dress...color, comfort, elegance...but unless you are 6 ft tall, do NOT order the long. It was very, very long! I had to call and get a R sent at the last minute and I'm 5'9...everything else was perfect!

Elegant fit counters a bold color to make for a classic wedding choice. Comfortable, light to wear for ages. Slit is sexy without being too risky. Fit me like a glove with room to breathe. Perfect length for 5'3 + 3.5/4 inch heel. As an aside, RTR went over and beyond to deliver my dress to the restaurant I was going to the night before the wedding. Points for Customer Service.

This was a great simple dress that had some added flair with the leg slit and one shoulder. The color is what sold me on it and it's really great in person. Main annoyance was that the dress has a half-slip sewn into it that kept riding up and bunching up, giving weird lines through the fabric.

It fit beautifully, there wasn't much difference between the 4 and the 6. The 4 fit great, could have been a bit tighter. I would definitely recommend it.

I rented this dress for a formal Charity Gala but ended up wearing a back-up dress, instead. It was not formal enough. Also, the 0 was too short and also too tight to wear to a work event and the 2 was too baggy up top and around the waist. It didn't work out for me but I'm sure would be perfect for someone else for a more casual, spring/summer event.

I got so many nice complements on this dress! First, it is really a kelly green color, like a crayon, and not jade or teal like it looks in some of the reviewers photos. I rented two sizes, 4R and 6R. The 4R fit, and I never tried on the 6. Of note: the bottom hem is not finished in the traditional way - just a raw hem with overstitch. As other reviewers mentioned, the waist is a little loose, and the fabric has quite a bit of "give" to it so that the dress kind of "grows" throughout the night. If you are in between sizes, go with the smaller one, and the regular length (unless your nickname is "Hightower")! Also of note: there is a short lining that comes down to the top of the leg slit and is attached there in the front. This lining kept creeping up and making wrinkles across my hips and butt, and I kept having to step away from the party to fuss with straightening it out. I wore this with a strapless bra and Spanx, and I think the Spanx contributed to the problem, causing clingy fabrics to ride up. I'd recommend replacing the SPanx with Commando Underwear made by HerLook.

Ordered this as a backup for a white tie affair. Thank god it was only my backup because while the 6L fit, it looks very unflattering on someone who is a little 'less taunt' in the abdominal region. Wish I was in better shape and could wear it!

Didn't have the Regular length, so I ordered 2L, thinking it would work with heels on, however it was still too long with 4 inch heels! The bottom looked dirty and the color did not look the same as in the picture. I'm a 32D and the bust was a little large on me. There was no zipper so it made it really hard to get on and off. Also the slit was really high. Overall I was pretty disappointed with this dress. Luckily I ordered a second option for the weekend that was perfect!!

I read other reviews for this dress, and it seemed like it would be a good bet, but the fabric was heavier than expected, and clingy in all the wrong places. The overall effect was unflattering. I ended up wearing my back up dress instead, which worked out perfectly, but I wouldn't recommend this dress based on the fabric.

Ordered a long, and it was definitely long, even in heels. Personally, I thought that was great. The fit was flattering but the dress was very comfortable.
