I wore this gorgeous gown to a black tie optional event in NYC. The color is absolutely stunning and I am a true Yigal Azrouel convert. The draping of the gown is perfect and super flattering. I would recommend this dress for any event year round - it's definitely multi-seasonal. Rent this gown!

I typically wear a 2/4, so was surprised when the 0 was needed, although length wasn't compromised. I danced a TON and was able to comfortably walk around the city feeling like a glamour babe. :)

Low back, very sexy, and long slit up the front. Just the right mix of elegant and sexy. Wish you could see the earrings better in the photo, they were very cool!

I could have tried a 6 but it wasn't available. The sides running down the back are a little loose so I used the tape that came with to try and tame this aspect. Unfortunately it didn't hold for too long. It was the only thing I wish I could have altered on the dress. I used an adhesive bra, but could have done without it fine. I had 4" heels and the length was perfect! The slit is high and when you sit the dress opens to the height of the slit. Very comfortable & forgiving. Absolutely Gorgeous Dress!

This is a very flattering dress, but it requires being comfortable with your body and being in shape is kind of a must. There is no support around the belly, although the picture shows some pleats around the belly. The material is more crepe-like so drapes beautifully. The back is too low to wear Spanx, which I was anticipating being able to wear. As as result, I stood up very straight all night! The front is designed to be worn with a sticky-bra, which worked well. Overall I loved the dress. There was another woman at the party wearing the teal version and I thought the color wasn't quite as pretty, but the price difference is steep, so if you like the cut but don't want to drop the big $$$ on this color, the teal is fine.

I normally wear a 6 from Rent The Runway. I wore a 4 on this one. I did order the extra length which I recommend if your over 5'5" my heel was 4" went right to the floor. Beautiful fabric and very comfortable to wear. Rented this for a wedding. Love Rent The Runway!!

This dress was "stunning" as I've been told a few times now!!! I loved it so much!! It fit just right and even left a little room to move around in! The length just hit the floor for me with my 2 1/2 inch heels. I received soo many compliments on this dress.. I highly recommend it!! I would definitely rent it again!! Very classy for the black tie wedding I attended but with little hints of sexy in the open back and slit in front!!

This was actually my backup dress. I'm so glad that RTR gives that option or I would have been screwed. This dress made me feel absolutely sexy and stunning. The back has a strap that you can clip across it but it didn't serve a purpose as far as keeping the sleeves up so I pinned the straps into the dress to give the back a fully open look and BOY did it have people talking! Everyone was complimenting my dress and making sure to mention the back. The dress is long so tall heels were a must. I was able to get a stick-on backless bra from Macy's to give me some lift in the front while still giving the illusion of not wearing a bra. Also, I wear Spanx under every nice dress I have. After two kids, they are a must to smooth out my belly. Because the back was so low, I wasn't able to wear Spanx BUT because of the ruching in the right spots and the way the fabric lays so perfectly, I actually didn't need them! This dress is so flattering. If you're considering getting it - do it.

This dress is fantastic. It feels sexy with an open back and slit, but it is also easy to wear, not too tight or revealing so you can dance your heart out and eat dinner. I am athletic/curvy and I think it works if you are looking for a sleek look with a few special details. The fabric gives smooth lines and is easy to wear. Over the course of the night, the dress did loosen up (especially with dancing!). I am a true 8 and got a 10. I actually think an 8 would be better since it has a bit of stretch but it also works slightly loose since the back is open and the dress is not particularly structured. I am 5'9' and wore 3" heels and still got the R (not the long), so I would order the R unless you are wearing platforms. I recommend this dress!.

I loved this dress. I am 5'9" and 150lbs. I wore the size 8 but could probably have worn the 6. I am in between both sizes. I received many compliments and felt beautiful in the dress. I particularly loved the back. Very sexy with being vulgar. I also rented the earrings and they looked amazing with dress. I will use RTR for every occasion from now on. It was a great experience and RTR was so helpful with my many questions.

True elegance and my boyfriend could not stop starring all night. I recieved so many compliments and to think this was not my first choice. I had originally ordered another dress which the day before being sent I recieved a phone call that one of the sizes was damaged and that I needed to pick another dress for my second size, I selected my top 3 dresses and sent them to my boyfriend to select his favorite dress (He did a very good job). RTR was so helpful and very quick to respond, thank you for making this night so special! Just a tip with the dress make sure to order a size smaller since the dress does stretch out throughout the night, the dress for me would have been perfect in the 2R.

I didn't have any issues with this dress other than I needed to air it out a bit. The plastic bag had a not so pleasant smell. I wore 2.5 -3 inch heels and they worked perfectly. I would absolutely wear this dress again as I have never received so many compliments.

This dress runs true to size, and has some stretch to it. It does run a bit on the longer side, as I am 5'8 and without shoes it was floor length. Overall a great full length dress!

To be honest, this dress wasn't my first choice. Mine was damaged during cleaning but I figured it wasn't meant to be so I went with it. I have to say the customer service was great and the stylist I worked with to pick out a new dress kept me from having a freak out two days before my event. My boyfriend loved loved the open back and and he kept saying how beautiful I looked. In fact, people came up to me through out the night (even in the bathroom) asking me about my dress, where I got it, who the designer was.. etc. Boy did I feel like a movie star!!! When it comes to the size, being a petite frame myself, it fit well, could have been a bit tighter, but being a little looser I think made it more elegant - I would say true to size. A great choice if you want a sexy yet classy dress for a formal event.

I had originally ordered this dress in the teal color, but due to the dress being returned damaged I only got my back up in the color I wanted, and got my regular size in the navy. I found that I was somewhere in between the 2 and 4. The 2 was a bit tight over the belly and I was worried about eating and drinking and feeling comfortable so I wore the 4. But the the dress is long and although the fabric is not heavy it does get pulled down a bit, and I felt that the 4 was a tad loose with the open back. The slit is also VERY sexy when you sit down, so in the Church I had to make an effort to tuck the fabric in. Overall I got a lot of complements on the dress and I was extremely comfortable all night.

The dress was a bit tight to get into, but in the end it fit great. It was a bit long as I wore flats (outdoor wedding in a hilly rural area on grass) but that was expected. The material and the lining felt a bit cheap, and the lining kept catching on my sandal straps (which weren't spiky or anything) when I walked. As with some other designer dresses, you'll need help doing up that back strap, unless you are freakishly flexible and double-jointed.

The back on this gown is a stunner! Not the best at concealing the tummy but - very pretty nonetheless. The fabric draped really well and the dress was comfy - perfect for the winter wedding I went to!

This is a very sexy dress! Maybe a little sexier than I had thought! Yet somehow it does maintain that fine line of elegance. My husband couldn't keep his hands off me! I got the 8L and wore 3.5" shoes and the dress was still about 1.5" too long. My back up size was the 10R and that was a few inches too short (with the same shoes) and way too big on top. Others have said that the dress stretches out, I did not notice that, and was dancing the night away comfortably. Due to the neckline and low back I chose to go braless as even a nu-bra would have shown. This wasn't the most flattering though, and I wish the dress had pads sewn in to give a bit more structure. Luckily there were no maldrobe malfunctions due in part to the top's design with the leather cord across the neckline. I loved the color. Perfect understated color for a sexy dress. Other issues are that you definitely need to keep your stomach WAY pulled in all night as it definitely highlights a bigger midsection due to the shape of the dress! I tried using Spanx to take a few lbs off but it seemed to only make the lines of the dress not look right but luckily fabric was very judicious and didn't skew towards showing lumps and bumps. I loved using RTR for my dress, earrings and clutch and felt like a celebrity. Would definitely use it again in the future!

I had no trouble keeping the shoulders of the dress on without the weird backstrap, the backstrap ruins the dress in my opinion. There's enough shearing in the front and back to hide any little extra, high slit up the front -gorgeous.

It did run pretty large. I usually wear an 8 or 10 and the size 6 of this was fine. It was elegant and sexy, perfect for a formal event.

After reading all of the reviews, I was surprised that the 2R fit me but I ordered a 2R as my extra and hoping to fit into the 4R because the 6R was not available. The length was perfect with 4in heels.

I wore this for a black tie wedding in 90 degree steamy weather. This dress was exactly as I'd hoped and as represented in prior reviews. The low back is a lovely embellishment without being too showy. I wore a wrap in the church and felt coverage was fine. Didn't need the back strap, the dress stayed put. I did wear a nubra and this works well. I only got the R as there was no L available and I'm so glad! I'm 5'10" and wore 2" heels. The dress nearly touched the floor. It runs just slightly large. I'm 37 and a mom of two. This dress made me feel elegant and sexy but was comfortable and not restrictive so I could keep up with the little ones and dance! I love this color. Rented bag and earrings too. First time with RTR and I'm a new convert!

I am 140, with a weightlifter build, broad through the shoulders and small waist. I typically wear a 4 and the 2 was perfect. The back on this dress is amazing, the front is nice, but drapey and a bit unflattering. Every picture I saw of myself I was less than thrilled with all the bunching and drape in the front. The pic I used is definitely one of the better ones. That said, it was a pretty dress and so much more comfortable and easy to wear than my first option. Plus it's formal, but not over the top. And the slit in the front is a nice touch.

I originally ordered a size 4L but got a phone call the day before I was to receive the dress saying it was never returned and to look for another dress!! I was devastated but the customer service was awesome! They overnighted me a similar dress and unfortunately I didn't like it but then this dress was available in a 6R and it turned out great! Although it was a little big the length was just right. I'm glad I didn't get the long version! I've never received so many compliments before!!! Overall wonderful experience and suggest this dress to anyone who wants to wow people!

This dress - I wish I had taken a picture in it! - is absolutely stunning. It does run true to size, however so if you're short, you may want to order a size under for the sake of the hem. I had to wear 5" heels with this and it was still a tad long. But worth it for the looks I got. It will definitely make you feel sexy and confident!

I wore this dress for a NYE wedding. It was so beautiful - elegant and simple, and the open back made it sexy. I ordered the 0L and the 2L - the 0L fit best, but the slit was slightly ripped and went up a little too high, so I had to stick with the 2L. The 2L still looked great and I received compliments on it all night.

The smaller of the two sizes fit so I'd say it's true to size as I usually wear a 4. Not sure if a size 2 would've fit, but possibly. The dress did seem to stretch a bit as the night went on. I was able to go braless with pasties because I am not busty, but if you are, you may need more support. Also, I'm 5'8" and got the long length and it is LONG. I had 5" stilettos with the gown and it still touched the floor so make sure you're tall if you order the long length! LOVED this dress though and the color blue is beautiful especially when accented with gold. I felt like a million bucks! Thanks RTR! I'll be back!!!

The dress fabric is stretchy, which makes it very comfortable, even sitting and dancing. The downside is, by the end of the night I felt it had stretched a bit too much, especially across the hips. Fortunately, it never gapped at underarms, bust or back and I felt tucked-in all night even without fashion tape. The front slit does allow the dress to fall completely open to the sides when you sit, making it a mini-skirt. I draped the skirt material over my legs during wedding ceremony to avoid giving my neighbors too much of a leg show. I'm 5'6" and wore the 2R with 3" heels. I got a 2L in case it was too short, but the regular ended up just grazing the tops of my feet and worked perfectly. The deep blue color went well with dark/royal blues and blue-grays of my boyfriend's tie and my shawl. It was a great dress for a formal, evening wedding in LA (unfortunately, photos wouldn't upload here)

I was excited about this dress and it was even better in person. The fit was great with no worries about being too revealing with the low cut front and open back. The front slit was also just right...never showing too much. I received numerous compliments all night and the dress was super comfortable too. The only issue I had was that the regular length was a bit too short for me. I am 5'6 and it was great without shoes. My heels made it hit at the ankle, which was wearable, but the long would have been a better fit for my height. Highly recommend this dress!

Great dress, Fits amazing hug the body in the right places. First time renting i was a little scared, but everthing worked out!! i got complements all night.

This was a little too big in the 4. The open back makes it larger than other dresses by the same designer, and the ruching around the hips was also a little baggy. Couldn't have worn it out as it kept falling off my shoulders, and you can't wear a bra with it (wouldn't have been a problem if it had been able to stay on). Didn't end up wearing because of this, but went with a different dress by the same designer in a 4 which fit perfectly. Definitely order a size down. Wish it had fit, as the back was absolutely gorgeous.
