This dress was a beautiful choice for a black tie wedding I attended. The color is stunning, but the fabric is very delicate, so if you follow the many suggestions to purchase LONG, be sure to wear substantial heels, so you don't step on it while walking or dancing.

Runs very short, even though I ordered an 8L, and I'm only 5'7". This dress was great for my apple body type (apple), and it hides a multitude of sins!

This dress is beautiful. Simple but elegant. I recommend getting the jewelry that the model is wearing to go along with it, because it is a dress that requires fairly big accessories. The dress does run short, so be sure to order it in a long even if you're usually a regular size. I am 5'5-5'6 and the regular size was way too short, even without my heels on.

Im 5 foot 4 inches, 128lbs and wore this dress for a black tie event last night. It fit "like a glove" however, it was short. As you can see, Im not tall and with 3 or 4 inch heels, its too short, I had to downgrade my heel length to a 2.5 inch heel so it would look right. Otherwise the dress looked amazing and I received a lot of complements. If you are 5,4 and want to wear 3 inch or taller heels, order the 4L. I didnt wear any panty hose or undergarments as the dress had a built in bra that was just enough support for me. I highly recommend this dress.

First off, this dress ended up working (and looking amazing) for the event. However, it came with a bit of anxiety after the initial time I tried it on. As you can see from my measurements, I am an average to below-average sized girl. I am no tall, nor do I have a large chest. There was NO WAY I thought I would need a tall length gown but it would have came in handy. I basically had to wear the dress with my smaller, less enhancing strapless bra in order for the dress to come down to a length that was reasonable enough for me to wear 3.5" heels. I initially tried the dress on with this new strapless from VS that is supposed to push you up 2 cup sizes but couldn't because it made the dress visibly too short in the front. So my advice, if you are in 5'4"ish range you should order this dress in regular and long lengths just to be certain and I wouldn't necessarily rent the dress if I were over 5'7" and planned on wearing heels. Aside from the initial troubles, the dress ending up fitting perfectly everywhere else and looking absolutely stunning. Got tons of compliments and passed the word about RTR to several of the wives and girlfriends of the servicemen. Will definitely be renting from RTR for my next Army ball!

Gorgeous dress and color. Definitely need Spanx underneath, even if your figure is flawless because the fabric shows everything under the dress. The size runs very, very short. I am 5'2" and both the 0R and 2R were 4 inches too short. I had to cal RTR the day the dresses arrived and they immediately sent a 0L and 2L. The 2L was significantly longer than the 2R; at least 5 or 6 inches. It draped and hung beautifully and pooled around my feet perfect just like the picture shows. It was slightly loose around the bust; had to be careful while dancing. However, I've never received so many compliments on a dress. I would definitely rent it again and recommend it to all.

I wore this to a black tie event and it was perfect. It showed my figure without being too tight, and looked just drape-y enough - I usually wear a 0 or 2. The color was gorgeous, and the length was no problem at all (even at 5'2, I just had to wear 3 inch heels or so and it was just the right length). Love it, and loved my first RTR exprience!

I'd say this dress runs true to size except that the 6L was a little too short on me. The dress fit really well and the fabric felt amazing, nice and stretchy. The fabric was not as loosely draped on me as it was on the model, which I liked. The color is a more vibrant royal blue than pictured.

This dress is beautiful and fit perfectly even on my petite frame. I purchased the temporary hem tape, and it worked really well with this dress thanks to the two layers of fabric.

I ordered the 8L and it was way too short - barely hit my ankles. So, unfortunately I couldn't wear it. Otherwise, it's a beautiful dress. Vibrant color and fits through the body true to size.

The dress is very pretty and fits well but runs extremely short. I should have listened to the other reviews which said to get the dress in long rather than the regular length.

I had such high hopes for this dress. Something different, but still elegant. I ordered a 6L and 8L and there wasn't much difference in the fit. I'm 5'8.5" and the dress ended at my ankles. I ended up using my backup dress and was had a perfect evening -- overall great experience with RTR!

I really like the color of this dress, but it's not that pretty up close. The fabric looks a little cheap and I don't know if I would pay $1400 to buy it. Other than that, it fit really well and is definitely flattering. I ordered a "long" because I was worried about the length (I'm 5'7"), but it fit just right. It's definitely a good option for a formal event. However, I went with a different dress that seemed more glamorous to me.

this was a nice gown, but somewhat plain. definitely would fit someone with narrow hips better.

I ordered an 10L. Dress was shorter than I expected. It was ankle length on me. Tight across mid-section but beautiful.

The dress fit well, but the material showed all the bit's that I wanted to hide! If you're short like me, but want a long dress, go for the long! It ran a bit short..

The dress really hugs all of your curves. The fabric is clingy more than stretchy. It was back-up dress for me, so I am glad that my first choice worked out. While I liked the dress, it just wasn't the most flattering on me - largely because the blue was too bright for my pale skin tone. As always, though, the RTR team was awesome in assisting me and making sure my experience was exceptional.

I ordered this for my prom but was unable to wear it because it was far too short! Even with my shortest heels this was still about 2 inches too short, ruining the line of the dress. I would suggest ordering the Long length no matter your height if you are planning on wearing heels. Otherwise the color is beautiful and it is very flattering.

Thank goodness this was my back-up dress! I'm 5'8", and even the long size just touched my ankles. It looked ridiculous. Also, it runs small. I usually wear a 2, but the 4 was definitely as small as I needed in this one in terms of fit through the torso. It's also kind of tough to get into because there's no zippers. Be aware that you'll need underwear that doesn't show because the shape of the dress is very form-fitting.

WAAYYYY too short. I got a size 12 (three sizes too big) and it barely hit my ankles. Don't rent this one...

I am only 5'6" tall & ordered the tall. Not only was the dress too small but it was too short so I w unable to wear it.

Dress is beautiful and the color is amazing. However, I am 5'8" and ordered the 0L and 2L and both were about 4 inches too short. They hit right at the ankle and looked silly with stilettos. I wasn't able to wear them to the wedding and had to send them right back and reuqest a refund.
