I love this one because it can easily be dressed up or down. A little garment tape may be needed to keep everything secure, but overall good dress!

I love this feminine maxi dress by Waverly Grey! Running true to size with some stretch, I recommend wearing your true size for your primary size and going up for your back up. This style is fitted at the natural waist and looser at the hips. It works for all cup sizes, and you are able to wear a standard bra with this dress. There is plenty of room in the bust area, but consider using fashion tape to avoid gaping. Women with curvier hips may choose to size up. At 5’5”, it was floor-length on me. This comfortable maxi would work well on many body types. Pair with a flat sandal and delicate jewelry to complete your outfit!

Definitely had to MacGyver the top with safety pins and double-sided tape since it’s super low cut/baggy, but I love the slit in the leg and the fit overall! It’s perfectly appropriate for a casual office environment like mine 🙂 I usually wear a 6 and I’m 5’3” and the Medium fit great!

I'm an average size 8 and went with the large. I could have gone with the medium. The large was very loose in the chest - I had to pin it together before wearing it out of the house. Length is good with a small heel. Slit is above the knee and adds a bit of sexiness to an otherwise average maxi type dress. Difficult to sit appropriately for a business meeting with the slit and had to continue to adjust the dress to cover my leg. I have the monthly rental pass and wore this two times (to a family dinner and to a day at my office) before exchanging it for something else.

Liked this dress for sure. Was comfortable, had a fun slit that was high but not so high that I couldn't wear it to work. The bust area has an opening with two sides of fabric overlapping. I found that area very easily opened, showing my bra front and center. I got fashion tape and taped the fabric overlapping area so that it didn't move, and the issue of my bra showing went away.

I wore this for a night out in Paris and really loved it, especially the high leg slit. However the top runs extremely large. I'm a 34dd+ so tops are rarely too big on me, and this definitely was! I should have safety pinned the top together so it was not so revealing, but I didn't have one. Body fit great though and prints very cute.

Consider tbe slit as high as shorts are long when you decide where to wear this and you will be fine.

I work this to work event, and it didn't really do anything for my shape. It may have just been too large - it was too loose both in the chest area and just overall everywhere else. I had to use a safety pin to keep the V from opening up to expose my bra as well. perhaps if I sized down it would have fit better.

I'm 5'3" so always worried about dresses being too long. I wore 4inch wedges and didn't have to worry about stepping on the dress. The top area is WAY too big. Lean a little forward and your entire chest is basically exposed. Fixable with a cami or a safety pin, but I'd suggest sizing down. The waist area is stretchy and hugs the waist a little giving you a slight curve.

I bought this dress from a RTR clearance sale. I have worn this dress many times for various occasions and have received numerous compliments. The dress pattern contains great colors that allow it to look different each time I wear it. Definitely a good choice!

The top fits a little loose. Wear with a lace bralette and just let it show. It's flowy and airy.

I rented this dress for a casual rehearsal dinner at a family home and it was absolutely perfect. The fit was very flattering while still being incredibly comfortable. Being on the shorter side, I was worried it would be too long but it turned out to fall exactly where it should for a size small.

I loved this dress. I am normally a S/4 but rented an XS based on the reviews and it was perfect. Be aware that it has a high slit (although fine for work, just watch how you sit) and also is low cut on the top (I pinned it and it was fine). Its really a cool dress for a hot summer day, and I got a ton of compliments.

I wore this dress for work and it was perfect. The top is on the larger side- I had to pin it closed. The skirt is very true to size, my hips are an 8-10, and it fit really well without pulling. The colors are really great. I'll be keeping it for a little longer to wear for family photos.

Finally, a maxi dress that isn't crazy long! I'll still have to wear a small heel or wedge, but this dress is definitely short girl friendly. The color and pattern are gorgeous and the material is soft. It does open to much in the front but I fixed easily with a safety pin.

This dress is great however be aware the top flaps wide open; you will 100% need fashion tape to keep it closed. However, it is feminine and beautiful. The fabric is soft and the slit is so flattering. It's a perfect dress for summer in the office (just be sure to tape the top!).

Loved this maxi and would have given it 5 stars if the top wasn't so blousy - I am a 34 C and there was a lot of extra fabric up top. I used a pin so that I wasn't flashing my bra every time I leaned over - easy fix, but if it fit better up top I would have definitely purchased it. The length was great, I am 5' 5" but was able to wear it with flats and it didn't drag on the ground, and I was also able to wear it with 3.5" block heels without it looking too short. Got several compliments each time I wore it.

I wore a Small, and warning for smaller chest ladies--it gaped a lot, showing my bra and chest area throughout the day. I liked it a lot but probably wouldn't rent again.

This dress in a size 6 had proportions that looked sloppy on my short frame, so I didn't go with it for a bridal shower. Pros: great flowy fabric, neat pattern with more subtle colors, good for a little arm coverage if that's what someone wants, cool slit on one side. Cons: My waist wasn't accentuated well in this dress, maybe not so great for someone who's both small-chested and thick like myself.

I wish I had read through the reviews before I ordered this. It runs really big. I rated it a three star because I think I would have really liked it if it fit.

I'm not sure that I had the highest expectations for this dress - which is good because it would not have lived up to them. Like some other people commented- the dress rubs very large on top. I am a 34E and the top draped open - while it was nothing a pin couldn't solve it was just a bit odd. The dress itself was just fine- super easy to wear, cute innocuous pattern- but nothing special
