The plaid striping is off. Does not look like picture. Looks like a hand me down

I'm 5'6" with long legs, and I wish this dress were just a tad longer for work.

This dress fits true to size. Recommend going one size up for back up sizing. You can wear a standard bra with this dress. The fabric has no stretch but its roomy and has comfortable room for hips.

Stretchy but tight around thighs

Rented this for my daughter who wanted to wear a sleeveless shift dress over a black turtleneck. She is a true size small and this was too small on her everywhere but particularly in the bust and hips. The ruffle also hit right at her butt, which is an odd place for extra fabric to hit. It could just be that a size up is in order when you want to wear a turtleneck underneath but I was kind of surprised because it looks very wide and loose on the model picture. Not so in real life. That said, the design and fabric are cute so will try it in a medium.

This dress has a very cute print. It may fit apple shapes well, but looked ridiculous on me. Even sized up for length, the ruffled part at the hips, which is elasticized, was clinging to my hips. For it to hang free of my legs as in the model photo, like a true sheath, I think I would need a large which I would be swimming in up top. Too bad, the dress is cute in theory.
