This coat fit me perfectly. With a lot of coats, the arms are too long, or too tight or too loose in the armpit area, or the sleeves are too sloppy looking, but this fit like a glove. I really like the retro 50s shawl collar as well. It's not for cold weather since it's mid-weight & open in the front with only one button, but great for Southern California winters & in between seasons elsewhere. I was actually going to keep it a lot longer, but the weather got hot & shows no sign of getting cool enough for this. Sad to send it back.

Loved this coat as it fit well and was fairly warm for North Dakota fall weather. I thought about buying it!

Was skeptical after the reviews but it ended up working out especially since the 90s are back with a vengeance. Wore in 40-55 degree weather always with a long sleeve shirt underneath and was comfortable. I love that the inside was not that silky fabric like most coats - it was soft. One button only, but i used the flaps on top to fold over my scarf if i got too cold. Wouldn't work for less than mid-40 degrees, but I'm also a wimp with the cold. 5'8" 135lb and small worked perfectly.

This was really the perfect alternative to a typical pea coat I usually wear. I liked that it had a bit more flair and was so soft and snuggly! I would've bought it in a heartbeat but I rented the medium (was all that was available at the time) when I really needed a small. Even still I struggled to send it back as it worked wearing a larger size.

Comfortable yet chic coat that brings more pizzazz to an outfit! Very warm material is great for the winter season. Running true to size with no stretch to the fabric we recommend sizing up for backup. I am 5'0" and the length of the coat hit me around the knees. Great for layering!

I love this coat- I wish I could buy it. I wore a scarf with it because the neckline is low. The collar is soft and pretty. I am a size 14/16 and the XL fits perfectly. This coat is good for 40 degrees and above.

Nice, but made to be oversized

It's not warm enough for a very cold or windy day and not so oversized as others have said - I sized down and it was way tight in my arms

Rented this coat for a long weekend trip to NYC to celebrate my birthday. While I didn't get to wear the coat out, it was true to size. I typically wear a 4/6, so I was between ordering a small or medium. I'm glad I went for the medium because it was a perfect fit & comfortable over cloths.

This coat is fantastic -- it's warm, chic and has a great shape to go with something casual all the way up to formal. I wore this to a formal christmas party and got tons of compliments. It's also super comfy and doesn't have that scratchy feel like some coats do. I loved this coat so much that I plan to buy (if my husband doesn't find out :) )

I rented this for a work trip & was able to use it when a cold spell went through Dallas. It was very warm & fit perfectly (I like my jackets a bit loose). It is a thick fabric, but not too thick, so I was able to wear it inside as well.

This jacket is perfect to throw over any outfit. It instantly made me feel put together. It's warm enough to wear in the 40s. I don't intend to send it back anytime soon.

Would Highly recommend sizing down. I'm 5'10'' with long arms and usually wear a large but the medium in this fit me well. Perfect length for me. Looked great with healed boots and mid thigh length dress. Many compliments. Will end up keeping it would for longer than I thought just so I can try it out with other looks!

More interesting and flattering than my typical black pea coat. Not heavy enough for super cold weather but has been good for 40s and 50s.

I rented this to wear to an outdoor winter wedding and loved it. It was fairly warm and the fur added a little touch to the black jacket! The Medium size was too tight in my arms and the large was a little big but comfortable and was the size I ended up going with. Would rent again if I needed a black coat!

I rented this to wear to NYC and it was perfect! I normally wear a S in coats, but ordered this in an XS after reading reviews - it fit fine over silk blouses and thin sweaters, but I would have needed a Small to fit heavier sweaters underneath. The collar adds a nice touch to this coat.

Great for work, out, any occasion! Cozy, comfy, stylish, be sure to wear a scarf if it's cold because the only con is its open neck.

Nice garment for work. However it's not very warm, isn't fully lined w fuzzy trim (just edges & collar) and it has faux/no pockets.

This is a very nice coat for the winter. I live in the South and found that the coat was perfectly insulated for all weather. Super classy look, very sharp and sophisticated.

Wore this for 2 weeks straight. It was perfect for the transitional NYC weather.

This coat is lined, felted poly-angora blend with a collar. There is one button. It is hard to see these details in the picture. I was expecting more of a sweater coat, but it is more of a COAT. That being said, it is well constructed and a cute piece. My only issue is the low placement of the only button. It hits right around the top of the pubic bone. This is probably great for a slender build, but if you have an hourglass or pear build, you might find it a bit awkward. I prefer my coats to gather at the waist and not low at the hips. Not a deal-breaker, but I wouldn't rent it again.

Not heavy enough for a new england winter but perfect for a 50 degree day walking around town. I am closer to a size 16 than a 14 and the coat fit great with a thin shirt under it.

Great black coat for everyday. I received a ton of compliments on it! It isnt very thick so not the best option for very cold weather unless you layer. My only dislike was the fit when buttoned- it looked a little odd and frumpy.

I guess because I'm short this didn't lay right in the shoulder area. I ended up not wearing it.
