I rented this for a trip to NYC around Christmas time. Although I was wearing heavy clothes underneath, the coat was a bit large so I could have sized down. I received a ton of compliments and it was very warm. I loved the color and the material was super soft. I would definitely recommend this for cold weather wear. If it is very cold, you will definitely need a scarf though, as it is open around the neck.

The button is a bit ugly but other than that this coat is a 10/10!

I had people stopping me as I walked by to tell me how fabulous this coat is. Many people. I wore it out to a theater event and then just out for a cocktail mid afternoon and made friends with people at the bar over this coat. It is magical! Soft! Warm! Fancy without being pretentious! Rent it! Or buy it (I almost did)

This was a really good quality faux fur. Just the right shade to make it fun and not too serious. I got it to amp up my glamour the month before my wedding and it worked!

I wore this to the Biltmore during Christmas and felt so sophisticated! It was the perfect shade of cranberry for the holidays! I am 5'5 160 lbs and wore the Large and it was the perfect fit. I have broad shoulders and it didn't feel constrictive at all. Perfect for a chilly night! I agree with other reviews that said it was a great coat without the weight!

Fun jacket. Surprisingly heavy weight. great color. Runs true to size. The only thing I don't like is that there is just 1 button. There needs to be two and it would be 5 star worthy.

I should have stuck with a large, but this coat was super warm and luxurious. My husband loved it, I just thought it was a little baggy.

Loved this coat! It was perfect for my NYE look. The maroon is a great color and so flattering. There's only one button, but it worked perfectly fine since I wasn't outside for too long. Slightly oversized but i don't think i would have been as comfortable if I had sized down. I loved the length and would definitely rent this one again.

I wore this coat almost every day in the New England winter. Gorgeous color and texture, with a lovely pink crepe lining. Layered reasonably well. What else can I say, it's an awesome coat!

I love this color- perfect for fall and it's a deep rich color. The coat itself isn't as special as hoped. A little thinner than expected and not as well made as I expected with the sleeve lining needing to be tucked back in.

Bought this for a wedding and wore it for days afterwards. Really warm and comfortable, and works for formal and fun casual outfits, too.

This jacket is easy to dress up or down. I wore it out to dinner and to a winery. I would've kept it for longer but it's finally getting warm out so I returned!

If you are on the fence... GO FOR IT. I needed a fancy coat for a winter wedding. As a larger person I tend to stay away from large coats, but it looked SO GREAT. I got so many compliments and felt stunning. I am also bringing it with me to Boston and pairing it with jeans and a shirt. Looking forward to standing out! :)

Compliments galore. Will not be warm enough for when the temps drop, but 30s-40s it does the trick (recommend using a scarf since there is only one button). Felt so cozy on yet a unique enough piece to look like you know what you're doing. Thinking about buying.

I ended up not wearing this because it was too thick and long for an early fall wedding. It is a beautiful deep red color and almost knee length on me being 5’7”.

I usually wear a small and got a small... I suggest buying your actual size instead of sizing up (that way it's not too oversized and will keep you warm). The coat was snug but also very comfortable. I could wear a sweater under it and still move. I loved that it has functional pockets too! (TALL GIRL APPROVED - 6ft tall).

I'm between sizes and went down to avoid it being bulky like some reviewers suggest. BAD move. Definitely go up. Even the arms on this thing were way too short for me (a 5' 6" person). Very glam, surprisingly warm, but made for small figures.

This was a flop for me. Felt bulky. Not like cute oversized but just unflattering. Also the texture was not my fav. Didn't really end up wearing.
