Beautiful Dress that fits in all the right areas!
Very beautiful dress & such a beautiful color! I was a little worried since, due to my small height (5'4"), I usually have a hard time finding a gown that isn't too long for me, but the length ended up fitting perfectly! As long as you wear heels, then no worries of having the gown scape accross the floor! And, if you are like me, and have curves, then this dress will flatter you perfectly! Fit in all the right areas! I also wore this dress with "The Secret Garden Cuff" & "Egyptian Eclipse Earrings" from RTR. FAB-U-LOUS!

Gorgeous and comfy Vera Wang dress!!
This was my very first RTR dress rental! I rented this dress for a Murder at the Masquerade Dinner Party. It was absolutely gorgeous and I was getting compliments all night long. I wore the 6L, and I have extremely long legs but I got both the 4R (the 4L was not available) and the 6L. The 4L fit better but was way too short, whereas the 6L was long enough but didn't fit quite as well. It fit well enough though, and was extremely comfortable! Overall I loved the dress, and now that I know how the sizing fits it'll be better the next time I rent a dress!

Beautiful dress!
Fit in all the right place, I was kinda worried about the pleating and the length of the dress, but the pleating fit at the my hips. The length was perfect without shoes, but short with 4in heels. It was very comfortable. I got a lot of compliments about the dress!

Too short for me to wear with heels :(
I loved this dress so much that I ordered the regular length despite my height. The dress was gorgeous and super comfortable but I ended up wearing a different RTR dress so that I could wear heels.

beautiful dress...but not for me!
The dress fits like a glove, and is vey flattering however, when it arrived, the seam along the side was ripped and I was unable to wear it. I ended up wearing another dress from RTR instead. Also, I'm short, 5'2" and the 6R was too short. It hit the floor when I was barefoot. I would recommend the 6L for those who wear it with heels.

I ordered the 2L an 4L of this (I'm 5'10, 125lbs) and both were too short (even with flats). The gown itself is pretty but not a "show stopper" by any means. It also has a mesh piece over the "strapless" side that I didn't know it had -- it would have been OK for me because I'm fair skinned but darker skinned girls might not like it.

Must fit perfectly to look good
This was my favorite in photos - even on the non model photos. However, the fabric was static, and stuck to the body. Also, the draping did not fit well, and made me look big. Not flattering as it runs big. If you get a size smaller might look better.

Would work well as a bridesmaid dress but not something you wear to stand out in a crowd!
Very blah. there is mesh on the other shoulder that you can't see properly in the photo which makes it not even an elegant one shoulder. Otherwise fits well but for a formal affair another dress might be more suitable for a young person!

revealing fabric
This dress needs some spanx or other body smoothing undergarments with it. The fabric is very thin, and it doesn't have lining. I ended up not wearing it. a larger size might have helped.

Beautiful on the model, not so much in real life
I must admit that expected a lot more from a $1600 gown--in terms of weight of the fabric. The dress look absolutely beautiful in the manufacturer picture but the material was quite thin a flimsy akin to a silk night gown and absolutely did not cover the floor as pictured. The mesh lining underneath and at the shoulder was bizarre and only served to make the dress quite hard to get on--especially since you have to pull it over your head. I after two failed attempts with too short dresses, I ended up "buying" a St. John's dress. Though the St. John's dress was a couple hundred dollars cheaper at $1400, the was fabric was quite substantial and exactly what one would expect with a dress costing over $1000. That being said, I'm rather disappointed in Vera Wang. Finally, this dress (2R) was too short and I'm only 5'2. I did not measure it myself this time but I purposefully went out a bought mid height (3 inch) heels and the dress did not cover my shoes. Clearly one dress cant possibly serve a 5'1 - 5'6 person. I personally refuse to wear a formal gown that doesn't cover my shoes, it looks tacky in my opinion. It seems RTR's, "regular" is basically for petite women (under 5' if you plan to wear heels). RTR's customer service is fantastic!! They were quite accommodating with trying to resolve the sizing issues, I just wish the rental process had actually worked out. Bottom line, I'd try RTR again but likely only for a cocktail dress and would absolutely try two different sizes.
