This dress runs extremely large and short. I am 5'5 and the long was almost too short. I had to use a lot of double sided tape to make the dress more form fitting. The color is not as matte in the picture but more shiny and that is a definite plus. You can tell this gown is of good quality. Also, they neck thing is a nude mesh monstrosity. I'm not sure why Vera Wang gave the thumbs up on that detail, but if you are tanner than the nude color, it will definitely show. Mine was falling off anyway and I took it off...sent it back with an explanation. I'm grateful I didn't have to rock it.

I ordered the 2L an 4L of this (I'm 5'10, 125lbs) and both were too short. It also seemed to run a bit big.

Wore to a military ball and got compliments all night. I only had 2 issues with the dress. First thing, the dress came severely wrinkled. Make sure you get it a day or two before your event so you can get it dry-cleaned or if you have a dryer with a steam option like I do, you can just throw it in there for about an hour. Second thing, I usually wear a 6 in dresses but I went a size down because I had read previous reviews but the 4 was still a little too big. I would've felt much more comfortable in a size 2. But other than those issues, I loved the dress. Beautiful color and very elegeant. Also the back does not have as large of a plunge as it appears in the photo which is okay but I think if it did it would gave the dress an extra pow.

I rented this dress to wear in a pageant as I was looking for something classy and elegant. I normally wear a size 6 and I am 5'6. I rented the 6 long thinking it would be perfect. Definitely listen to the reviews when it says "runs large" because it absolutely does. I put a huge leap of faith into renting gowns for a pageant and I didn't have time to send it back for a 2 or 4 so I made it work and it looked beautiful. It did run on the shorter side, the long was not quite as long as I would have liked with heels on. But otherwise it was beautiful and I loved it. I would post a picture but they are owned by the photographer, if he gives me permission I will! Rent this dress but rent two sizes down.

Okay so maybe I did not fall in LOVE with this dress when I first tried it on because it did not fit me as perfectly as I may have wanted. Once I got all dolled up and wore heels I immediately felt beautiful. Strongly recommend it, but I advise you it runs about three sizes larger. It was prom so I took pictures but none were the right file size, sorry.

I ordered this dress as a back up and ended up not wearing it, I wore my first choice instead. The material was beautiful but the arms were baggy and did not stay on my shoulders. Also the length of the dress was rather short, I have shorter legs, I am only 5'4'' but it was short even for flats.

not amazing but very pretty

I ordered this dress in the 4L and unfortunately it was still too short, even in bare feet and I am 5'5". Also, I am more pear shaped and due to the deep V in did make my chest appear smaller and my hips larger. So would work best on an athletic body or someone who is larger on top than botton.

I have loved this dress since the first time I saw it on RTR. I read the reviews and adjusted accordingly. I usually wear an 8 or a 10 depending on the designer. Everyone said it was a little large so I ordered a 6. It was really loose. I could have probably worn a 4. Reviews all said it was really short, but at 5' even, I didn't think ordering a regular length would be an issue. It was REALLY short. I could have worn flats with this dress and it still wouldn't have touched the ground. A long probably would have been the right length. But RTR customer service is great as always and helped fix the situation.

I rented this dress and the Vera Wang Stone Statue dress both in size 2 regular. However, this dress felt 2 sizes too big when the other one fit true to size therefore I could not wear it. The red silk fabric however was beautiful and probably would be a beautiful dress if it actually fits. Lengthwise it was fine with 3 inch heels and fell right above the shoes. Of note, there is a nude mesh fabric covering the front V and I think is meant to keep the shape of the dress. I thought it was a bit strange but as you can tell it probably does not show up in pictures.

The dress is beautiful and there is a thin clear mesh which holds it together in the front but I was unable to wear it as is runs big and it was also too short! I even ordered a size smaller than I normally wear. It was also surprisingly short for me since I'm only 5'3.
