It is a beautiful dress, very easy to wear. The neck is much lower than the picture which is a bummer, because that seems to be the best quality of the dress. The rouching is lovely and its a great sleek dress for a formal affair.

From the picture hopefully you can tell I was at a candy themed gala (that's Augustus Gloop standing next up me!) I was looking for a black gown to go with my candy hat I had crafted and this was not my first choice, but it worked out all the same. The material is very comfortable and sort of slinks on the body-def recommend having some spanx ready. The neckline was not as high as it looks on the model, which I thought was a fun design element, but I still give this dress 4 stars. It's an easy to wear black formal dress that is perfect if you are looking to keep it simple and elegant-or if you're like me and are working with some crazy accessories ;)

This dress was perfect! I got the 2R and 0P. Both sizes fit fine, but I went with the 2R for the recital since we had to sit. It was just a little more comfortable to sit in. I wore heels with this dress but I would have been fine wearing flats. I'm 5'3", so if you're taller, that might be something to consider.

The dress was perfect for a wedding in August - the fabric was light and airy and most of all, very comfortable. I am athletically built and this dress was very flattering, especially in the back. It wasn't tight and I could move very easily in it, especially to dance. It was simple and you could pair almost any accessory with it. Overall, it was a great choice and I would rent it again.

This gorgeous gown is perfect for a black tie occasion! The high neckline and sleeve style are so on trend and current. The fabric has no stretch, but it is a soft silk that glides so elegantly and is so comfortable. It's light enough that it would not be overly hot in summer weather! The ruching on the front of the gown makes it special and is very flattering, camouflaging problem areas there if necessary! I'm a B/C and the bust fit me well. I would recommend sizing up if you have a larger bust! The zipper is in the back as well. I would not recommend this for anyone very tall as it was a great length on me with heels at 5'4'!

The material is very light. The length was great because I am short and didn't have to hold it up. It was easy to dance in.

It runs very large, I thought. I normally wear an 8-10 and the 10 swallowed me up. They didn't have an 8 or I would've gotten that as my second choice.

Fit perfectly - am 5'9, 150 lbs and ordered a size 10R (worn without heels). With heels a 10L would have been needed.

I rented the 4 but got the 6 just in case--I am 5'3", and the 4R was the perfect length with 3.5" heels. This dress was very comfortable--I didn't need to worry about it being too low cut, the cut of the dress was very flattering and the fabric was thin so it wasn't too hot!! It really was absolutely perfect!!

I ordered this dress expecting the ruching would make it very figure flattering. Unfortunately, that didn't turn out to be the case for me. It certainly wasn't bad, but I didn't feel that it did much to highlight an hourglass figure. That said, the fit was fine and the material was light and comfortable. It just ended up being a bit of a snooze fest. I chose to wear my back up dress instead.

There was only a size 10 available, and it was way too big. I am usually a 6-8, and the 10 was like wearing an odd poncho. There would have been no way to make the larger size look flattering. Have no idea how a properly sized dress would look. Luckily it was my backup.

I normally wear a 6, but decided to get the 8 since I knew I would be wearing the dress for an extended period of time (New Years Eve party). It was very comfortable! The dress was super flattering in all the right places. The rouching is perfect. I had so many compliments. I'm short (5'2") and with heels this was the perfect length. Honestly I wish I could purchase this dress and I've looked all over for it online but it's an older style and I can't find it, but I love it that much!

Best fit I would rent it again and length was just right with a 5 inch heel

this dress fit great...very light and comfortable...definitely recommend. also, i am 5ft 5 and found the length with 4in heels to be perfect; a lot of time dresses run too long but this was perect

I couldn't get a regular length but the Petite was more than fine. Actually was a rainy night and it worked out well. Simple and elegant.

This dress has everything! Style, detail and comfort! Hugs in all the right places. Would not hesitate to rent this again.

Runs large

This is a beautiful simple long black dress for a black tie event. The 4 was way too big on me - and honestly in most other brands 4 is a bit tight! Also - as other reviews have noted - the neckline is not at all like what's pictured on the model.

This dress is very, very lightweight and airy. It is a simple look that could easily be glammed up with accessories. It would be a fantastic option for a formal event in warm weather as the material is so light and airy. There is a great deal of ruching on the dress which is incredibly flattering. It does run quite large. I normally wear a size 4, so I had ordered this as a backup dress in a 4. Luckily my first choice fit as the size 4 was quite a bit too large for me. I think I could have gone all the way down to a size 0 in this style.

Comfortable, flattering and easy. Didn't even wear a bra. Tried the 2 on in the store, and it was great, but too short so I ordered the 4 hoping it was a little longer. The four was fine, but still secretly wished it came in a "long" so I could have worn platforms. Did not come up on the neck like it does in the pic. I don't know if my bust pulled it down but overall good. For sizing, I also ordered a Badgley Mischka and I was a size 10 in that.

WAY TOO SHORT! Couldn't wear it because it was way too short on me. Otherwise it is a beautiful dress and fit is perfect.

I normally wear a size 4 and I was swimming in it... the size 2 was even a bag. I doubt the zero would have even fit. Definitely get the smaller size if you are thinking about this dress.
