My bff told me about a website where we could rent designer dresses for a black tie event we were attending. I have to say I was skeptical but I figured why not give it a shot. I am bottom heavy and was unsure of what size and type of dress to order. I decided against going with my initial order after reading all the reviews and rented the Vera Wang sizing up, so I got a 10 and 12R. The sales associate was so nice and cancelled the first dress giving me a full refund and applied my first time customer discount to the second order. After all that, it turns out that I should have sized down and I had to have an 8R over-nighted. I only had to pay for shipping which was nice ($12.95) and the dress came the next morning. The fit was perfect for my body type. I was able to move and dance comfortably although getting in and out the car was a challenge. I am 5'7 and wish the dress had been longer but the L wasnt available so I had to wear shorter heels. You will need help fastening the dress because of the inside clasp and i also wore a backless bra for extra support. All in all I was beyond pleased with the customer service and the ease of sending the dresses back.

I wore this dress to prom Very comfortable, I loved the stretchy material. It fit like a glove and really brought out my curves. I got lots of compliments and I definitely stood out. I loved everything about this dress!!!

I wore this dress for the Wishmaker's Ball this year and loved it. I tried on the 6R in this one as well and could wear it but I felt a little bit like a sausage lol. The 8R worked out perfectly! I wore 3" heels with it and it still dragged on the ground just a little but that's the way I expected it to be. It has a corset inside that zips separately from the rest of the dress so it's nice that that's tight and secure but the dress doesn't look as tight as the corset actually is. By the end of the night. The corset was getting a little uncomfortable but that was kind of expected. The bottom part of the skirt has several layers including tulle so that part did get a little warm after a while but not too bad. I saw lots of other women at the event with RTR dresses and some of them were wearing the same ones as each other (one that I had considered wearing) but I was happy to see that no one else had chosen this dress. It's unique and beautiful and I thank the RTR team for helping me finally find one that worked after my first few choices couldn't be sent to me because they were damaged by the previous renter. I definitely recommend this dress!

She is 5’10.5 and 14 keep that in mind Fit like a glove, fabric is stretchy in the stomach area her measurement are 32”25”35”. Pros- Very Elegant and simple Cons- Bust area was tight for her and she doesn't have much of anything anyways. She wore the 2 Long and it suggested wearing like a 2in heel, well we tried that and the mermaid part didn't even hit the floor. So she had to wear sandals underneath the dress so it would hit the floor nicely. Other than that it was all good.

I really loved this dress!!!! The complements didn't stop all night. The dress fit perfectly except the bra on top. The bar inside was super tight!!!. I couldn't even zip it up. I still LOVED this dress!!!

Stretchy material made the gown form-fitting and the gold down the front is less gold and more of a champagne color.

RTR actually sent me the wrong order the night before my pageant, I was panicking because the order that did come for me was informal and didn't fit what I needed. I called them panicking and they overnighted me any dress of my choice, it's been one of the best experiences of my life and I tell all my friends about RTR

I ALMOST wore this dress, but at the last minute decided to go with one of my other options. I just wanted to share my photos in case it helps anyone else. The fabric feels very soft and silky. It is very nicely lined and comfortable on the inside. There is an extra support clasp in the bra area to help hold the dress up. Very high quality, comfortable and sophisticated dress.

The dress fit me to a T, accentuating my curves in all the right places! The dress itself is very classy and gives the wearer a classy look as well. I got nothing but compliments all evening from guests and felt absolutely amazing wearing the dress. NOTE: I ordered a long because a 6 regular was not in stock and even with tall shoes it was quite long.

This is a gorgeous gown for a black tie event. The silver colorblocking slims you down and the ruching is ultra flattering. Runs a tiny bit big and has some stretch so I would recommend sizing down for your backup.

Dress fitted me perfectly. I am tall and full busted so sometimes struggle to get the perfect fit. Amazing quality of fabric and very comfy to wear. Perfect in every way.

The fit is so flattering. It is very stretchy in the body but has the boning structure to keep everything where it needs to be. I am a 36DD so I had some difficulty with the top as that party is very fitted. I had to really squish the girls down to get in there but they eventually fit (2 person effort). I am also 5 foot 3 so I picked the 6R and it was still long- I didn't want to wear super large heels as I would be dancing all night but it was so flowy and fun that it was perfect. I highly recommend this dress if you are nervous about getting something too fitted but you really want to show your shape.

Perfect amount of stretch. I wore this indoors the entire time - I would not recommend wearing outside at all because of length in back.

I ordered a different dress for a wedding, however the additional size I added on was unavailable due to complications with the previous renter. RTR sent me an email informing me of this and asked me to select a back up dress. I didn't see the email in time but RTR politely selected a style and size for me as a back up so I would have something. Absolutely awesome customer service! Very pleased however the selected dress was a little too big and the original selection had a zipper default.
