The dress was wonderful. It fit perfectly and flowed nicely over my heels which were 4.5 inches. Overall, if I could rent this dress again, I would.

The dress fit nearly perfectly--it was only slightly loose around my hips. It's a fantastic dress if you are a bit small up top and very flattering all around.

I typically wear a size 0 in regular sized dresses, but since the reviews said it ran small, I ordered a 2 and 4 to be safe, and am glad I ordered a size up. I ended up in the 2 and it fit beautifully! I could have worn higher heels, but the 2" heels worked ok. You don't need a bra, but it wasn't uncomfortable. Overall, classy and elegant describe this dress!

I'm often a size 0 but could not finish zipping up the 0. The size 2 was perfect but it clearly runs small. It's a nice dress for straighter bodies- adds some curves.

It is tight around the chest area, I couldn't fit a bra underneath. The lace detail was beautiful. I danced in this dress for 6 hours, it's very comfortable. I'm 5'2" and could have almost gotten away with wearing flats. I highly recommend this Vera, it was perfect!

This dress fit me like a glove, my fiance even commented that it fit like it was made for me. For reference my measurements are 32,25,35. I was extremely happy with this dress and got a ton of compliments on it. It was also comfortable to wear all night and dance in. One thing to note is you'll either need a sticky bra or go braless since the front is plunging & although there is the lace detail, you can still see some skin and the back is low.

This dress fits like a glove. I thought it might drag too much on the floor and was scared it might get caught on something, BUT it is the perfect length. With a normal size heel it hits floor right at the bottom. I was able to walk around with ease. Received lots of compliments. This dress will make your boobs look smaller, but your butt look great according to my date!

This dress was the perfect amount of sexy & formal for a wedding I attended. It was form fitting without being too tight and the lace over the low cut top was gorgeous! It was easy to move and dance in too! My husband couldn't say enough good things and it made me feel awesome! I wish i could have kept this one!

I reserved a 4R which fit like a glove for an elegant wedding. My back up size was a 6R which was too large. This dress has no give to it and is definitely true to size. I wore 4 inch heels and the length was perfect. I received so many compliments all night!!

Decided to rent a dress for prom since it wasn't my prom; best decision I ever made. I LOVED the dress! There was only one problem: the bottom of the dress had small rips, but since it was lace it was barely noticeable! Loved the dress, loved the service!

I loved this dress. I usually wear a size 2-4 in dresses, and the 2 was tight, but in a good way. The 4 was a little too loose - this dress is really meant to be fitted. I have curvy hips and the dress still fit beautifully. The length was great also - perfect for a 2 inch or so heel.

I have quite large breasts and a tiny everything else, and a very hourglass figure with measurements of 36, 24, 35 and the dress fit like a glove. Got compliments all night! (Including ones from multiple guys!) I had to wear 5 inch heels cause I am only 5'1 but it was worth it! The dress was gorgeous and I didn't even need a bra which is strange for me, I just wore those sticky petals to avoid any nip slips. The dress really accentuated my figure and made me feel truly gorgeous! The straps are adjustable which was a huge help for my tiny frame. I originally rented the florence gown but the person that rented it right before me ruined it leaving me to find a new dress just a few days before prom when i had rented the original dress choice four months before! I was very disappointed to hear it, but the customer service was good and helpful and made the process of finding a new dress that was available and would fit me during prom season as quick and easy as it could have been. Almost everything was rented out, but thankfully I still got a perfect dress that went with my shoes and my boyfriend's tux. Extremely happy with my choice, and I strongly recommend this dress. Just be warned, it really does have NO STRETCH and it is a tiny bit longer in the back than the front which I assumed was intentional. You need to know your size!!! I definitely will be renting from here again! :)

This dress fit like a glove. It was so comfortable throughout the entire night and it was made of very nice material. The cutout lace was a beautiful touch to the whole dress.

This is a great dress. I liked it the best out of all the dresses at the event! The fabric is high quality, the top is very different from your usual strapless gowns you see at events, and it has a mermaid-style fit which is always flattering. Very elegant, unique, and sexy. It's a Vera so as the saying goes, "you don't alter Vera to fit yourself, you alter yourself to fit Vera!" So, with that being said, it does run smaller being a designer dress. So I would size up and it will be great. Also, I got the Regular size instead of the Long (it wasn't available) so I wasn't able to wear my usual stilettos. So also consider your height and heel height when ordering. I ended up lower the straps (they are adjustable) so my 2 inch heels I had to by would work with the length of the dress. Also, Rent the Runway is such an amazing company to offer such an amazing and expensive designer dress of a small fraction of the retail price. I'd highly consider renting this dress! And also complement the dress with the 'Ciner Glimmer of Radiance Earring', the pave crystal petals match exactly to the petals of the lace flowers on the dress!

I got the 2R and it fit just right. I wish I had gotten the 0R instead of the 4R as a back-up just to see if it could have been a bit more form-fitting. Overall, it was comfortable, sexy, and classy. Looked good on the hips. Probably would have looked better on the top if I had a bit more cleavage. Got lots of compliments and danced the night away!

The dress is beautiful, and the flower lace pattern was perfect for a black-tie optional formal spring wedding. However, it was very form-fitting, so I really debated whether I should have tried the 12R. After eating dinner and dessert, the dress was even tighter, so I would consider sizing up if I rented this dress again. I wore bra petals since a strapless bra wouldn't fit and would have shown under the lacey sheer v in the dress, and I wore spanx to smooth out my waist/hip area. The dress was also short and I couldn't wear heels higher than 2 1/2 inches and the dress still didn't fully touch the floor. Overall I got many compliments and was able to promote the wonderful Rent the Runway company!

I was afraid that it wouldn't fit my petite 5ft 105pound frame but it looked as if it were Tailored for me. I wore 4in nude pumps. I will rent again, no question. I wore it for a Gala.

It fit exactly at the top, a little room around the hips but overall great fit and length.

The dress is gorgeous. Its for petite gals and you should re mindful if your bigger on top because you will have to up size, there is NO give in this dress. I usually wear a 0R, but went to a 2R and just could zipper the back because I have implants. But I can tell you if you got the curves- this dress will show them. NO long at all I am only 5'2 100 pounds and the Regular with 4 inch heels was just right. No bra needed in this dress as it hold them in tight and has a beautiful split in the middle without revealing anything. I cant say enough about the dress. I loved being in it. A little heavy at the bottom, so if you plan on doing a lot of dancing be prepared to sweat! But who cares, its a night to be Cinderella!!

Beautiful! This is such a gorgeous, classic gown. It is very fitted and has no give in the fabric. If you are bigger in the hips I would size up. However, it hugs your body and gives you such a gorgeous shape. The details and fabric are amazing in person. I did not have heels on and the length was fine. But I would get a Long length if I were to wear heels.

The fit was pretty true to size, just tight in some areas (be careful when sitting down). But overall it was suprisingly comfortable..it was nice not to have a dress you're always pulling up or tugging on. I also got a lot of compliments throughout the night!

I'm usually a 4 but that was snug so I went with the 6. For fellow tall girls, it is a little short so order long if you can!

I probably shouldn't have worn heels because the dress grazed the floor when I was barefoot, but I ended up dancing/walking around shoe-less for most of prom because the heels were uncomfortable regardless. The chest felt tight at first (I thought I would have to unzip the back to take a deep breath once in a while) but after a bit I stopped noticing that feeling. Overall: great condition, great night!

Loved the dress, fit great except for the length. It was too short to wear with any of my heels so I ended up purchasing a 2 inch pair of heels last minute, however should have just ordered the 2L since I am 5'8. Overall great classic and subtly sexy style.

Overall a great, elegant dress. Wore it to a black tie gala and got compliments on it all night! The lace detail in front is sexy without being too revealing at all. Was a little tight in the hips, and doesn't provide much structure up top for us flat-chested girls, but I still loved it. I got the regular and had to wear flats for it to reach the floor - would recommend the longer version if you're going to wear heels.

Dress had no give to the fabric. Extremely slimming and elongating. Wore this with a NuBra but felt a little squished on top due to the tightness. Overall an absolute stunning gown. Compliments all night.

I ordered a 0R and 2R as my measurements are 32-26-39 . I wore the 2R it fit like a glove tight around the necessary areas. If you have a small chest this is perfect for you as I didn't have to wear a bra. The waist is VERY fitted and structured so when ordering please watch that it runs small in the waist and bust. I wore 3 inch heels with these and it was perfect. Beautiful gown it was so stunning . If you're going for a timeless elegant look for your event look no further .

I originally wanted a size 0R but it was already reserved so I went for a 2R. The size 2 was loose in the waste but tight in my hips, butt, and breast but I am a bit curvy in those areas. The length wasn't great. I am 5"3 so I assumed a long would be too much so I got a regular but it was actually short. I would suggest long for any height. Overall the dress was like an 7 or 8 in scale of 1-10. It was a bit over worn and dirty at the bottom but hey its used. Overall it served its purpose and is a nice dress.

Let me start by saying I LOVED this dress! It was beautiful and I could feel that it was well made. It was also a very flattering shape and I liked the way it showed off my shoulders and back. The gown I got had a small imperfection in the very front, at the bottom of the lace open part, but I couldn't tell unless I looked up close, so I didn't mind. Now, if you are a busty girl, you may want to go up a size because there is no give at all. It is NOT stretchy. Also, I got the regular and I wore flats so it didn't matter, but it was a little short. If i had wanted to wear heels, I would have gotten a long. Definitely recommend it!

On the hanger, this dress is beautiful. It's a medium-weight dress with one layer of black lace and a second layer of a gold toned slip. I'm normally between a size 6 and 8. If you're a busty girl- this dress might not be for you. I am a size 32DD and the 6 wouldn't close around my chest, the 8 BARELY closed. The stitching on the bust part of the dress isn't flattering to bigger chests - I felt like my chest was being smushed flat instead of pushed up. I did wear a strapless bra underneath, but I kept have to pull it up through the night. Also, I found the dress to be very constricting in terms of movement - I felt like i was going to rip it every time I sat down (it was more comfortable to walk in than sit in). Also - I'm about 5'6" and wore flats - the dress would have been way too short for heals. I did receive a lot of compliments, and am glad I rented it - but if you're a busty hour-glass shaped girl, I would suggest a dress better designed for that figure.

I'm 5'7" so the 4R was a little short, but I bought some cute flats and I was comfortable all night. The dress fit like a glove and hugged me in all the right places. I loved this dress! First time renting the runway and I'll be back!

This dress was perfect for our masquerade New Year's Eve party! I wore it with some pretty monster pumps so it wasn't pooling on the floor, but if you're 5'3" and not a fan of skyscraper heels, I would opt for the shorter length.

This dress was beautiful and I received so many compliments! Pros: tight fit perfect for hourglass shape, lovely flair at the knees, beautiful design, enough cleavage to be sexy but still classy. Cons: the petite was too short for me with 3.5" heels, even though I'm shorter, I should have gone with the regular size; the top is presumably meant for a flatter chest. I went braless because of the design in the front, but if I rented again, I would go with push up pasties to get a fuller look. Since I didn't wear support, the dress flattened me a bit. This didn't stop the look from being a beautiful success though. I'm 5'1, 160lbs, usually size 10/12.

Because my boyfriend goes to another school, I always have double the dances. I wore this dress to his prom, because I didn't want to buy another dress. The 2 was just a little small around my back because I have broader shoulders, but I was very impressed with how perfect it was! It fit like a glove, and I would say very true to size. I have an athletic build, and the neckline really complimented that, also the top is tight so I did not have to worry about an undergarment. The quality is amazing, and I will definitely order for RTR again!

Fits snug, I would normally probably wear an 8, but the mermaid style makes it feel smaller. Luckily I had the size 10 as well. Definitely don't wear high heels. A flat or a low heel work best with the length of this dress. It's supposed to touch the ground. Dress arrived on time and in good condition, returning was not stressful at all. Absolutely beautiful, I got compliments all evening, and I couldn't wait to tell everyone I RENTED it!!

The material of the dress was absolutely beautiful! I usually wear a size 2 but because of my larger chest and based on everyone's reviews on RTR I chose the 4 and it could not have fit better. It was a little roomy on the sides of the dress but when sitting it becomes a bit more snug so it ended up being perfect. I didn't need to wear a bra with this dress as the top fit perfectly. I received so many compliments as this dress really does look gorgeous on!

This dress was amazing and very well made. I felt comfortable in it the entire evening (Ballet Gala). Interestingly this was the first dress from RTR where I had to go one size up because it is super fitted around your chest. If you have a C cup then guaranteed you'd go one size up. Also, the dress is short so order normal length at least. In any case, I really enjoyed wearing it and the dress was super appropriate for a formal event.
