Like other reviews, the fit was large in the bust and fitted around the hips. The fabric does not have any give or stretch. The dress cannot be worn with a standard bra, I wore a stciky "Nu Bra." I got a lot of compliments,! It was a bit risque for the event I wore it to, but the plunge in the front is more subtle with the black lace.

This dress is great. I usually wear a size 4 but had to do a 6 because the bottom part was a little too tight. I can see if you are smaller in the chest area with bigger hips this dress would not work for you. I however loved it!! Many many compliments!!

I am flat chested and appreciated not needing even an adhesive bra. The brocade fabric makes it unnecessary and the neckline is sexy without being ridiculous. Prints are gorgeous, the fit is super-flattering and the pockets are perfect for an iPhone and a small wallet. I got compliments all night long on how amazing it was and felt so beautiful and confident in it. Elegant and sexy at the same time. Perfect winter wedding dress!

With my body shape, I'm significantly smaller on top. So when I went to the RTR showroom and tried this on in an 8, it fit on the bottom but was huge on top. I opted to rent the 6 and pray it fit on the bottom. Now, it was pretty snug, but thanks to the peplum it wasn't really noticeable. This dress is just crazy gorgeous, and I was so sad to send it back! Just as a tip, I'd have some fashion tape on hand to keep the open back in place, just makes it lay a little better :)

This dress is exquisite in person! So beautiful in detail. I would say this runs true to size but if you are bigger in the hips, size up because there is no give or stretch in this dress and it is very structured and fitted.

Loved this dress. It's absolutely gorgeous, comfortable and has pockets! I'd recommend a thin camisole under the dress if you are going a little more conservative, need to hide a bra!

It fit true to size around the hips, but does not stretch. It does fit a little loose on top because you cannot wear a bra so I did use fabric tape on the shoulders. I wore this to a Fashion Show with 350+ women (and some 8th grade boys including my son who is pictured) and I had a number of women tell me that I had the best dress.

I wore this dress to a wedding in NYC and received compliments on it all evening! The fabric is even more beautiful in person - the quality is stunning! I usually wear a zero but the 2 was fine since I am a bit larger in the hips. On bottom it fit perfectly and on the top it was a bit large. I had to adjust the sleeves quite a lot. But I'm not sure I would have felt as comfortable in a 0 as the fabric does not stretch at all. The hemline was tasteful - showed enough leg but not too much. A plus is that the fabric was so thick I didn't have to worry about wearing a bra, pasties or anything! Overall, I loved the glamourous quality the dress offered. It was elegant and totally unique! I would recommend for others attending cocktail attire required events and for taller women. The amount of fabric could look overwhelming on a shorter person.

I wore this dress for a Valentine's Day date with my husband, and I loved it. However, the fit was a little small, so definitely size up in your backup! Thanks, RTR!!

I'm not very chesty, and the top was a little loose, but nothing to worry about. I received soooo many complements, and wished I didn't have to return the dress!

This dress perfectly conceals the midriff section with its peplum type flair in the middle of the dress.

The dress is stunning, quality thick fabric, crafted well. The only reason I say it runs small is because the natural waist is not the smallest part of this dress, the hook and eye sits just a bit below that and makes it hit on the wider part of my hips which made it more snug then I expected with plenty of comfortable room elsewhere. I'm 5'10 and the dress was the perfect length. I could sit and bend over easily, while still showing a nice amount of leg. The lace detailing in front is sexy but conservative, and the deep V in back is stellar. I want to buy this dress I enjoyed the rental and compliments so much.

I loved this dress so much! The lace detail was lovely, the fabric is absolutely gorgeous and the shape is unique. It does run a bit wide in the bodice, but the rest fit true to size.

Fabric was gorgeous but the straps were loose. I normally wear a size 2/4 and the size 2 fit at the waist perfectly but was large up top. I had to pin the straps so they wouldn't fall off the shoulders.

This dress is beautiful, but the fit is weird. I usually wear an 8, and the 8 in this dress fit in the waist and hips, but the bust was very large. Because of the low back, you can't wear a regular bra. I tried using inserts to fill it out, but that didn't work. A smaller size wouldn't have fit in the waist. I wanted it to work so badly, but I'm returning for credit.

Loved this dress! It was really well made and I was very impressed. Unfortunately, I couldn't wear it because it was too big on top. Not the bust area, but the amount of fabric. It fit everywhere else perfectly. I'm leggy and have a short torso, so I had about 3 inches of fabric on top of my shoulders and it puckered out in the back. Other than that, the dress fit beautifully. Good for someone with a long (normal?) torso.

I loved this dress when I took it out of the bag. The material is luxurious and rich. The color is vibrant....however, I ordered it a size larger than my normal size because I thought it would run small and it was way too big on the top, yet fitted on the bottom. I thought the peplum made me look wider than I am....if you are tall and slim, this dress would be stunning on; however, for the shorter, curvy woman, I think simpler lines are better.

The materials of this dress are beautiful and luxe, but the fit just wasn't right for me and I felt like I was swimming in the top/peplum. I rented a size 2 and the skirt portion fit well but the top of the dress was cut for a much larger chest. If a smaller size were available, the skirt would've been too tight. I'd suggest this dress for someone with a larger chest.

This dress is gorgeous but the fit is just weird! I am curvy and most of the time I wear a 6. Neither the 6 or 8 fit. They were huge in the top (I'm a C cup) and the bottom of both were just too tight. There is absolutely zero stretch in the fabric. I'd size up but if you have bigger hips/butt I would not recommend this dress.

runs small through the hips and the fabric has no give. the top is way to big and I have a large chest..

This dress was huge on me. Granted, I typically wear a 0, but the 2s on RTR work for me most of the time, but not this one. It was bulky and falling off of my body.
