I wore this to a gala in midtown Manhattan for Penn State's pediatric cancer initiative, THON. I may have been a little overdressed comparatively, but I felt glamorous and received a lot of compliments. The embellishment is elaborate and the material is stretchy and comfortable (Another thing to note: Because of the type of material, it's not as jet black as it looks in the picture. Still pretty, though). The only negative thing I have to stay is that it was a little difficult to walk in because the bottom is so tight and the dress literally goes down to the floor. However, small price to pay to look and feel beautiful!

This dress is so flattering, elegant and perfect for a Mardi Gras BALL. I’m 5’4” and 115 lbs and ordered a 4R and a 6R. The 4R fit best. I received so many complements on this dress and felt like a million $$bucks$$! Nothing like wearing a Vera Wang! Thanks RTR!

Wore this beautiful dress NYE 2012 to the symphony we had such an amazing time and everyone kept asking me about the dress. I loved the way the materiel felt against my skin it fit perfectly.

I loved wearing this dress! It was a little long, so I wore 4" heels, and had to remember to lift my dress a bit as I walked around, particularly up and down stairs. The shoulder detail looks even better in person. The stretch fabric combined with the draping allows you to move comfortably and is forgiving in troublesome areas. It really highlights an hourglass figure! I loved wearing it, and I received a ton of compliments. It was the perfect dress for a formal affair.

I tried this dress on at an employee party and loved the intricate shoulder embellishment. Unfortunately, the dress was fairly snug, causing it to pull in certain places and hug my hourglass figure a bit too much. The color was a bit lighter then in the model picture and walking was also a bit of a challenge. Not a great fit for me but would look great on someone smaller for a formal event.
