I was worried about the color washing me out bc I'm so pale, but I loved it. I wish I owned it!

I rented this as a backup style and ended up going with the other option, but it was a close call. The sheath fit perfectly, and the lace construction looked delicate but felt sturdy. Ultimately, I chose the other dress (Slate & Willow Madeline Sheath) for the va-va-voom factor; this dress was more conservative.

I wore this dress to an evening work party. It's conservative and sexy at the same time. It definitely fits more like a shift dress, but is still very flattering. It was easy to put on without help from others, which is important when you're alone in a hotel room! I also wore the Gerard Yosca Vintage Jade Crystal Studs. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a good picture of the dress so you can't see the earrings, but they gave the outfit a beautiful punch of color and were surprisingly comfortable for clip ons.

I loved this dress on the model, but I think it works better for thinner women. The Spanx didn't conceal everything quite as well as I would have liked.

I ordered it in 6 and 8 and ended up wearing the 6. It wasn't quite as fitted as on the model (I'm also only 5'4 and more curvy) but worked out well with a belt. I was going for something more conservative so it worked well.

I loved the color and fabric on this dress, simply chic. However it was literally a shift dress, with no waist. On me (wider hips and fuller bust) it made me look a bit shapeless. I wore it anyway, but had it not been a rental I would have taken in the waist a bit to give it some shape.

I wore this dress for a TEDx talk! Since I knew it would be captured for eternity on YouTube, I didn't want to invest in something that I'd only wear once. This was my first rental from RTR and they didn't disappoint. Delivery was prompt, retunrn was simple and the dress fit true to size. I am small busted (34B) so a larger busted woman may want to go a size up. So comfortblae and held up for a long 12 hour day of events.

For a first time Runway Renter, it exceeded my expectations. I had originally ordered this dress as a back-up to the Ralph Lauren dress I purchased. I liked it so much I wore this one to the wedding instead. The only concern I had was when the dress arrived it looked like it had been hand-washed instead of dry cleaned prior to sending it to me.

This dress is wonderful--for the right kind of affair. I had a conference for work that I rented another dress for, with this one as the back up. I was able to wear this gorgeous sheath the day before my big conference to the office (i work in a conservative dc office, mind you), out to happy hour, and then to a dinner date with my boyfriend. This dress, with a blazer or cardigan over it, is conservative enough for the office; with heels and bare arms its a professional, classic look for a night out. It is not fitted at all--i rented a 4 and a 6 and wear the 4. There is no stretch, it is just a plain, box sort of cut. But the fabric and detail make it gorgeous. Do not order this if you are looking for something to show off your figure! I could also see myself wearing this to a garden party, a conservative wedding, or a church-brunch sort of event with family. Will definitely rent this dress again!

Nice fit and very rich fabric - It had some give to it which made it a very comfortable dress to wear during a long church mass. Conservative in color and cut, but still very pretty and delicate looking. I panicked when I was contacted the day before my original size 6 wasn't available last minute as it was taken out of rotation for wear and tear - the stylist immediately chose two other dresses and the size 8 and sent them out and then asked for any my opinion on any others to send out - He was FANTASTIC to work with and sent an additional dress the next day - which was also beautiful. Overall it was a great dress and another great experience with RTR.

The dress is a little short, and not very fitted. If you have a ribbon or a belt, it tends to look better. It was pretty straight down and didn't hug any curves. It was my backup, and I didn't end up wearing it.

Was too tight across the torso and butt for me to wear - every line shows. Fabric was very delicate but pretty.

I thought this dress looked really elegant on the website. It looked much more fitted on the model than in real life however. If you are looking for something that is conservative to hide any curves, then this is it.

I rented the size 6 as a back-up style and didn't wear it. The 8 may have fit, but it likely would have been loose around the waist. (The 6 was just too fitted from the behind for my taste, and I have relatively narrow hips.) The lace was very pretty and did have some stretch, but I didn't care for how it bunched in places when I moved. I felt like I would have been tugging it down into place all night. (Street size 4/6; usually RTR size 8.)

Beautiful dress. It was extremely comfortable because the material was a Loose-Spandex type. Hugged the body but not tightly. I would go with a size larger than you usually wear.

Lovely form-fitting dress. Spanx required! No stretchy material at all, so it doesn't give. Lovely color, same as the photo. I didn't end up wearing this dress because her dress was cream colored lace, too similar. But great dress overall!
