As others have said: the silky feel is great, the fit is good, print is pretty, arm holes are tight. If you're open to feeling like you're making a statement on purpose, wear it untied and own it. If that's not you, tie the sides high, just above your belly button with cute bows on the sides. Both will work. Don't give up on this one!

There was nothing remarkable about this Dress if I’m being completely honest! I tied the strings like most people and I would of loved this print as just a skirt. The sizing is forgiving, I had to size down and it fit great! Just a bit underwhelming if you like to stand out

Like other reviews noted - it's hard to make this dress totally flattering. I tried everything, including just wearing it untied like shown in photos, and landed on tying loosely. I still think it was worth it for how unique the style is and the nice fabric. Arm holes are kind of tight, otherwise it was TTS

I really liked this dress. Silky. Unique. I wore untied and tied. Comfy except tight under arms.

I decided to try for fun; arms opening is tight..., & it make u boxy, fabrics silky, don't wrinkles much, don't think this style get to much popularity

I loved it but it did run big in the top and I’m a pretty chesty girl. Also the ties came undone easily throughout the day. I would recommend pinning them if you can.

Like other reviewers, it took me a while to figure out if I could make this work. Tried it untied - nope. Tried it tied at around hip level - nope. Tried it cinched and tied tightly at the waist - better but nope. Finally tried it tied low on my hips and bingo! For my body (hourglass, broad shoulders), this balanced out the proportions and gave a kind of drop waisted, modern flapper feel. Success! Fabric is gorgeous. Pattern is lovely and perfect for summer or early fall events. Other than the small neck and arm holes (sized up one just for this reason) this dress feels amazing on. Not for everyone, but when it works it really works!

The dress is so unique it's one of a kind! Love the patterns on the fabric the design may seem strange but if you tie the front ribbons with the back on either side and tuck the top inside I think it looks flattering. Loved it!! Highly recommend.

In absolute love with this dress. The apron big did take a little bit of time to tie and get situated to look cute and intentional. It was a bit big and it'd probably work better for a long torsoed person because the fabric hangs down and drapes wherever it is tied at the lower waistline. The fabric is so silky and beautiful quality. I would definitely rent this again for a fancy dinner but it worked nicely for work too.

I couldn't figure out how to make this look nice so I returned it without wearing. Then I saw later that someone had rolled it up to tie the drape up higher to be more flattering. I didn't try that and now I wish I did! I will rent again. The fabric is absolutely beautiful and it is a very well constructed garment. It's a pleasure to get items of this level of quality.

Tried for an hour to make this work. It's so cute and very stylish. Was too tight in the arms and was hanging oddly on my body In general. Tried using belts but the one that worked made the dress bunch up.

The fabric and print on this dress are gorgeous! I wanted to make it work so bad and was determined to figure out how to properly wear this, but sadly could not. I ordered a size up since I have wider hips and while it fit there, the top was huge once I tried to tie the straps/bands in any way at all. Leaving them undone didn't really work for me either since it was just too much fabric moving around. We need a tutorial for this one!

I like the way this looks in the picture, but found it awkward in real life. It looks like a homemade bridesmaid dress from the 70s, including unflattering ruffles and ties. RTR suggested 2 sizes bigger than my regular size. I don't know why. It was not over the top huge, but not a good fit.

I saw other reviews warning against this dress but i tried to make it work anyway. I was unsuccessful and ended up sending it back without wearing. Bummer because it's a gorgeous print and material.

Sure was a great dress! I only liked it tied up on the sides, otherwise it was too much going on for me. Great anything dress. Very comfortable and feminine.

The dress is beautiful but difficult to style with my body type.
