This would be a great dress...if it fit properly. I accidentally ordered a size 14 but I think my usual size 8 would not fit because as you can see in the picture it is pulling in the chest area (for reference I'm a 34DD) and quite tight in the shoulder even at this much larger size. Therefore I would not recommend for someone with broad shoulders or a larger chest.

I wore this dress for an interview and it worked because I was sitting down and on Zoom. I would have sized down from the suggested if I wore in real life.

it's so tight in the armholes and bicep! I wore it but felt trussed up and uncomfortable all day and avoided reaching for objects on high shelves.

The fabric felt great but the fit was really off. It fit an an awkward length and I just wasn't a fan. Definitely for someone tall. The fabric is also unforgiving so if you have a little bump here and there, it will show.

Definitely too small through the hips not for pear-shaped.

Ok so even though the reviews were meh, I tried it and loved it! I sized up because I wanted to wear it to work. So many compliments. The sleeves are long but i think on purpose? The wrap effect was very flattering.

Sooo many compliments on this dress even though it's conservative and dark colored! Perfect for a business setting, especially in the cooler seasons (I wore with black tights and heeled ankle boots), but could easily be worn with strappy sandals for a dinner in Vegas. Appropriate length as well - sleeves just a tad long but not noticeably so. Fits true to size but there is zero stretch - the arms are quite narrow, so if you are bigger in that area this dress will not work for you. I love the dual navy satin / black chiffon look, the only thing that is a bit weird is that the tie-across sits a bit drapey, not 100% diagonally/taught. I found this to be a bit odd at first but based on the stitching it's intentional. Would rent again for another formal meeting at work!

Was dressier than I thought b/c of the material. I wear a size 10 dress and it was a bit big. Not sure if the 8 would fit though. I really liked the dress.

This is a little too short for work. I treated as a tunic.

Gorgeous dress but definitely does not run true to U.K./US size. I am a size US 6 and ordered a size 10 UK and it was swimming on me

This dress fit me so awkwardly. The tie across with the blue silk panel, once draped and tied, just hung lifelessly. This was not flattering at all.

The long sleeves are built for someone who has no muscle. I cannot imagine how skinny your arms would have to be to fit this dress.

I wanted this to work out SO badly...I loved the picture and how it fit on the model. On me, it looked nothing like this. It was way too big and the folds looked awkward. Ill fitting and made me look heavier.

I am a size 4 or 6 rent the runway said I should try a size 8. it came all wrinkly and I could not do up the zipper

Fits very strange- has a gap and material is sewn very odd by the chest. Could not wear.

I had to send this back without wearing it because it was too tight and I felt the material too polyester for the occasion I have in mind.
