UK 12 was a great fit for my US 8 hourglass shape. I'm narrow through the shoulders, but the structured "sleeve" wasn't overwhelming. I'd totally rent this again.

I rented for a black-tie optional wedding but decided to go with another dress because: - classy but a bit boring - it's part linen so needs ironing/wrinkles/not super formal - I sized up one, and although I probably needed to size up to get the side zip up, it didn't fit like a glove (bust area a bit big). I would say TTS overall though. - would probably look best with great heels/earrings, and big ponytail/updo to show off the shoulder design

I loved the style of this dress and the fabric is kind of linen-y, so it feels appropriate for a summer wedding. However, the sizing is pretty off: I usually wear size 0 (or UK 4 for this brand). I rented a UK 6 (US 2) and couldn't zip it up past one rib (and I have a small frame and chest). But I think if I went a size or two up, the bottom would be too big and the length too long. If you do give it a try, order at least two sizes up.

I sized up for this dress & it was still too tight in the waist! I also couldn't really figure out the back scunchy fabric. The front looked fine but seems like extra fabric in back. I don't know though b/c could not get zipped properly!

I ordered this dress two sizes up and it was still too small. It is not made for girls with curves especially if you have a larger chest. This dress has no room for give or stretch

Sized up to a lot and it still didn't fit. I believe it was a 10/6 but it was still too tight. But even if it had fit I wouldn't have worn it. Not flattering on me.

Ordered for a cocktail attire rehearsal dinner. I am between a 4 and 6 so ordered the six. Wow, I could maybe fit into a 10 for this dress- sizing is extremely off. Looked like it could have been cute, but size at least two (probably three) sizes up!!

I normally wear a size 4-6 and I could not even fit this dress even though it was a size 6. No idea how it looks on me.

This dress was amazing! I wore it 9 weeks pregnant and still trying to hide it, and this dress managed to hide the little bump while still looking super chic. Definitely order at least one size up though--it runs *very* small.

I am usually a small 6 but I'm glad I sized up for this one, the 8 fit like a glove. I don't think it would be very easy to zip it up by yourself. The fabric is lovely, definitely not one of the dresses that clings to your body. It drapes very nicely and is very forgiving of the midsection area. The loop of fabric on the left hip is a little weird particularly after being pressed - I may try to steam it to see if that helps.

This dress is very comfortable and flattering. However, I normally wear a 6/8 and had to size up to a 14 (the biggest size offered) in order to make this work. That is insane!! It's not too short and I didn't wear a bra but you could wear a strapless bra without it being seen

Definitely runs small. I ordered an 8 based on other reviews and I am usually a 2. The 8 fits perfect though, so just adjust accordingly. I will also add that the waist ribbon (seen tied up in the model photos) actually is just hanging past my knee - not ideal. I intend to wear this to a wedding this weekend, but need to figure out how it ties. It's very unclear. Lastly, what looks like a shoulder strap is actually a cap sleeve...The model photos don't look like this though. I tucked the cap under to make it a wide shoulder strap. It would be nice if RTR had accurate depictions of the dresses, so there aren't surprises when they arrive home.

Teeny Tiny. Couldn't get it over my hips 12R, and I wear an 8-10 usually. Yikes. I think I'd need a 16 in this! Gorgeous fabric.

Didn't end up wearing this - even though I went according to the size chart it was way too small. And I was surprised the material was more burlap than anything (is it a really heavy rough linen?) not what I was expecting. The style is super cute though.

I'm usually a 4/6. I ordered the 8 by mistake and thought I'd have to send it back right away for a smaller size. I couldn't even get it zipped half way. It's TINY! I don't even think a 10 would fit. Maybe a 12. Who knows. It's very pretty in person but tiny. Probably just like Victoria Beckham!

The fabric blends sounded good but ended up just feeling and looking like a "high quality potato sack". I've worn almost all of the Victoria Victoria Beckham line, and have consistently been a UK 8/ US 4. However... **This fits is WAY OFF everything else in the line. The UK 8 fit like a UK 4/ US 0!!!** My average/narrow hips fit fine BUT I could not even get the dress zipped past my waist and was about 3 INCHES away from being able to hook the zipper eyelet or having the zipper even touch. I could only see this fitting if you have hourglass figure with a REALLY NARROW TORSO (US 0 or 00), size 4 hips, and no butt!!!

Sized up by 2 sizes and couldn't zip this one up.
