This dress was true to size, fit like a glove and was so comfortable for dancing the night away at a wedding. I wore a regular bra, the length was perfect...not too short, not too long. I highly recommend this dress and Rent the Runway. The dress was delivered a day early and the mystery bling went perfect with the dress. I will be renting again

The fit of the dress was very flattering, and had a very classy look to it. I wore it to my boss's wedding where I was one of the youngest guests and I felt like I fit right in with this dress. The color is gorgeous and I was comfy the entire night. The size 42 fit just like what I would expect from a size 4, so I would recommend following the size chart provided at checkout. I LOVE this dress and kind of wish I didn't have to return it, but I am glad that I won't have another dress cluttering my closet. With the flawless experience I had with RTR, I will definitely be recommending this site to everyone!

It is shorter (hit midthigh) but great dress!

I can not say enough good things about this dress or my first experience with RTR. I knew I needed a dress that was more than a standard wedding dress as I would be sitting at the head table of a pretty fancy wedding with my boyfriend who was a groomsmen. I heard great things about RTR and thought, let's give it a try! I stumbled on this dress and basically fell in love with it. Reserved it up and had everything dialed in... Then two days before delivery I got an email stating that my original size was damaged by a previous renter, but that I could pick out another style as a replacement. Obviously, nothing could compare to this one, but I found a couple others I liked. I asked if they could still send my back up size, and the lovely Rachel from RTR not only sent me the original back up size, but two other styles as well. Come delivery day, I tore the box open and popped on the bigger back up size. And although it didn't have the fit like a glove feel I usually like, the bigger size still looked great and had lots of wiggle room. I would keep in mind though that the 46 they call an 8 on here is marked as a 10 on the tag, but it is also Italian sizes. I added a push up bra to fill in the top portion, but other than that it was just perfect. Come 'wedding day,' I felt like a million bucks. Almost like Kate Middleton gone sassy? I was able to sit comfortably, get down on the dance floor, and all while looking like I spend $600.00 on my dress. :) My only wish is that I took more pictures in it!! Needless to say, I was sad to put this one in the UPS box on Sunday. Definitely something I will be keeping my eye out to actually buy down the road. It is the most PERFECT dress. And thank you to RTR for a great and easy experience! Already have my next dress ordered and ready for another wedding in a couple weeks!

It is navy and purple, but I put black patent choos with it, and they were fine. I went without a bra, as I am a 32 G, so I didn't need any extra padding, it was snug, but doable. A normal gal could easily do a traditional bra, esp a racer back, or one that crossed... A demi bra would probably show strap. I felt very comfortable for the most part, and gots lots of compliments. I wore the 40, and I am usually a 2, sometimes a 4, in US sizing.

It was perfect for my girls Vegas trip! Lots of compliments and it fit great! I'm a size 32DDD and they had plenty of room.

Very nice stretchy fabric. Not too thick and nice sheen. I was very comfortable dancing as well as sitting. I didn't get a pic standing up. No prob in the chest area.

Versatile enough to wear to a formal dinner or a dive bar depending on hair/accessories. It was comfortable and figure flattering. I wore a normal bra but a strapless would have been a better choice since my bra strap occasionally showed.

I was originally worried about the fit of the sizes I ordered, since the dress was not available in the showroom, but it ended up working out. The dress was a tad snug in the butt & hips, of which I don't have much, so if you are lucky enough to have a bit of a donk, order a size up or you might not be able to sit. The color in person is gorgeous, photographs really do not do it justice, and a fun statement necklace really tops it off well since the overall design is a bit simple. Although I did not receive any compliments, I felt classy and stylish all night. I definitely recommend this dress for a wedding or comfortable night of dinner & dancing if you are full busted and do not enjoy having your boobs all over the place. Also-Manhattan ladies, if you do not have a doorman in your building, have it delivered to your office or you will have to sit at home and wait for the courier all day since a signature is required. I cant thank RTR's customer service team enough for getting me through this issue. Claire, Katie, and Rachel, you are fantastic. Thank you for staying so late to ensure the courier found my doorman-less apartment after at least one failed attempt. Cant wait to rent again!

This baby fit me like a glove. It was comfortable, appropriate (wore it to my husband's holiday party) but really looked different than anything else there. I got many compliments and felt like a million bucks. I'm small chested and did have to pull out my ultra padded bra to fill out a top a bit (would have been a little loose across the chest otherwise) and the zipper was a little tempermental, but LOVED LOVED LOVED IT.

This dress fit amazingly! I loved that it wasn't too long or too short and it fit well over my butt and chest as well. Now I can say that I've worn a Versace dress and it was so beautiful!

I rented this dress for a wedding and I loved it! It fit perfectly and was very comfortable. I rented sizes 2 (38) and 4 (40), and the size 4 fit nicely. Loved the color and received many compliments!

I wore this to a holiday party for my husbands company. I usually wear a 6 and it fit but was a little snug and the 8 just felt more comfortable. I wouldn't be afraid to order a size up. The party was a week ago and my husband is still having people come up to him to say how great I looked!

At first when I rented this dress I was still looking for a back up just in case I didn't like it, but when I tried it on I immediately loved it! It was a little tight in the booty, just right in the chest, and a little loose in the waist (but you need room for dancing right?). I loved the dress so much I even looked online to buy it, but had no luck. So if RTR needs to take this dress off the racks I would love to buy it! Also the renting experience was very easy, I will definitely rent from RTR again.

I wore this dress to a wedding rehearsal dinner. I received many compliments on it. The photos don't really do it justice. It's a gorgeous purple and black and looks even better in person!

I rented this dress for a wedding and loved it so much that I wore it for a bachelorette party the next night. I LOVED everything about this dress and got a ton of compliments on it. This was my first time renting and my first attempt at european sizing, luckily this dress was true to size. It hugged every curve and was comfortable to dance in all night (both nights!). I highly recommend this dress if you want something different than the LBD for a wedding or special occasion. NOTE: When I ordered this, I thought it was black and purple, but it is navy (very dark navy) so plan your shoes accordingly! Thank you RTR, I just ordered another dress for this weekend!

This dress was pretty true to size. I'm usually a 6 or 8 & the 6 (42) fit just fine, the size larger wouldn't have been the snug fit the dress is intended to have. This was my first rental & I'm to do it again. My husband even said he'd buy me this dress breadyecause he loved it on me so much!

I would rent this dress again, but what is the fun in that?! This was a great dress that looks better in person than in photo. Really comfortable. RUNS SMALL. I rented the equivalent of the 4 and 6 and wore the larger of the two. Form fitting but the material isn't stiff. Wore to an outdoor wedding on a hot night and wasn't uncomfortable. Note that it is really hard to tell if the black is truly black or a really deep navy. Loved that I could say that I was wearing a Versace. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because both of the dresses had some wear and tear. One was snagged and the other had some pilling where previous renters' statement necklaces have chewed up the fabric.

I didn't get many compliments but I loved the dress it was a classy choice to a friends wedding. Bunched up when dancing but that is expected. I would recommend.

The end curls up a bit

I wore this dress to the opera and was a perfect choice. Though the dress is form fitting it was very comfortable to sit in for 3 hours and still look fabulous at the after party....no wrinkles! The color of this dress is actually a deep navy blue and purple and NOT black and purple. FYI: though the pattern on the dress is very striking it does not photograph so well.

The dress doesn't have much give, so it fits pretty snug - which I like. There was a 1 inch split up the left side seam. I patched it up with fashion tape that came with my dress and it held most of the night. There were also a few eesnie weensie pulls in the fabric, but you'd have to really be looking for them to notice. Overall - it was a great experience renting from RTR - I will def do it again.

I am very small on top, so the top was a little bit big. Wore a pushup bra and seemed to fill it a little more, but I pinned it a little bit behind the neck. The bottom was a little snug and the whole dress was a tight fit but it looked good (just had to make sure I didn't need to sit too much). I did like the dress though and got a lot of great comments on it.

Loved the color and feel of the dress

Dress was pretty long on me, I'm only 5'0, but the color and sheen of the dress pictures very well!! The bust area fit better with the smaller size 40 but the waist was too tight, so I went with the 42. Overall I was happy with the dress and had a great time at a good friends wedding!!

I rented this dress for an important dinner and rented the 44 and 46. The 44 was so tight in the chest I had to wear the 46 where that one was too loose in the chest. It was cute but I wouldn't rent it again.

The dress definitely runs small. It was tight, but it is supposed to be. The bust and the shoulder area having slightly more room. I was able to dance all night without feeling uncomfortable. I received compliments on how good the dress looked and fit. I received it in good condition.

This was a fabulous dress! I got so many compliments. The colors are beautiful. I'm so glad it was navy and not black. This dress is very fitted but stretches so you can dance the night away! If you have a body you want to show off this dress hugs you in all the right places!

The dress fit very true to size. It was a little tighter in the hips, so for curvier girls I would go a size up. I ordered a 40 as my back up size, and it was way bigger on top than on the bottom. The length was perfect for a formal affair, but short enough where I didn't feel restricted when dancing. The color was stunning too, just a flare of purple.

The fit was a little snug. I usually wear a size 4, but went with the 6. Thank goodness for sending 2 sizes! It was the perfect length. Not too short, but young and and flirty. I would highly recommend this dress. It has a subtle coolness for any event.

LOVED the dress! Received tons of compliments and felt glamorous but not flashy while wearing it. The dress is very flattering and comfortable to wear since it has some stretch. It's a great fit for petites - i'm 5'3" and it hit above the knee. I normally wear an XS and the size 40 fit perfectly.

I wore this Versace dress to a firefighters banquet in March 2012. I received many compliments on it. The color was great and it was very figure flattering. I probably should have gotten the next size up because it was slightly snug on me. Other than that, I would recommend this dress to anyone else and I would rent it again myself!
