There were a few marks from previous wearers (hem was frayed a bit, some makeup marks, etc) but that is to be expected from renting a dress. This dress was elegant and fit like a glove. Lots of fabric in the skirt, and if the venue was at all warm I think I would have been too hot in the dress (just to keep in mind for future renters). It really accents the waist line elegantly. This was a perfect New Years Eve Gala dress for the Greenbrier Resort. 100% recommend to anyone :)

I couldn't find my size in normal length but I got the long version and it fit fine with high heels. I finished my look with some jewelry that I also rented. I absolutely loved how elegant the dress looked and how it flowed.

The fit was very slimming. I may have been able to go down a size; I normally wear a size 10..but I didn't want to show any rolls lol. I ordered the long, I am 5'9" with long legs...it was very long, but okay with the 4 1/2 inch heels that I wore. This dress made me feel like a million bucks. I'd definitely rent this one again.

Simple, classic, but fit and details kept it unique. Truly a crowd pleaser and I felt quite elegant. It is long! I am short, wore 4inch heels, still was on the ground. But I could dance and walk despite.

I ended up not wearing this dress, and rented a different one because it was way too long! I rented another dress and I had to get the long to wear even a little heal, so I thought I would be fine with this one, but even with my 4 inch heels, it was still way too long. It was such a beautiful dress, but unless you're taller than 5'8", get the R length.

Awesome Dress!! It was super comfortable, Love the pockets. Skirt does wrinkle really easy, but not a big deal. Overall great rental was perfect for the night.

I'm glad I went with the 38R. As many reviews have said, that the skirt is heavy. I took my shoes off and still had ease of walking without having to lift my skirt. I wasn't a big fan of the satin skirt, it would have preferred it the same material as the top.

Pros: this dress has pockets; a cute and very cool feature! The top of the dress is beautifully cut and true to size. The neckline is killer and it will flatter any chest size or shape. The quality of this piece shines through on the top especially. Cons: this dress is an odd one on the bottom, but not in an entirely bad way. Long is very long. I'm between 5'7 and 8, wore 5" heels, and the hem still brushed the floor. The skirt is heavy satin - gorgeous material and lots of it. The odd part involves the bow, which is the signature element of the dress. It hangs from one hip to just past your navel on the other side, but there is an awkward seam that droops right were you want the dress to look best. Remedy: pin the odd fold up in place from inside the dress so it hangs right, and it looks beautiful. This dress is pretty well loved, and particular gals might consider it needing a steam press, so prepare for that if you rent this gown. I wore this dress on a snowy night to an inaugural ball. I topped it with a fitted cropped cashmere sweater and a statement necklace on a black silk cord. Wish I had a picture. It was a good overall look and I felt great in it all night. I would not rent this one again, but would love to replicate certain elements.

I wore this dress to a gala and it definitely fit the bill. The sizing was a little off though. In Italian sizing, a 46 is usually a 10 though RTR described it as an 8. I ended up wearing the 46 so that it fit in the bust (I wear a DDD) and because of the length. Though I got a 46R, the dress was really, really long. I'm 5'7", wore 5.5 inch heels and still had to pick up the skirt to walk! RTR, you may want to hem this one a little more!

Loved the dress, unfortunately ran a little big. I wear a size 10, but smaller on the top, the 44R was a size too large. I tried to get a smaller size, but none were available. The dress associate was extremely patient and helped me find an alternate for the next days event; which fit perfectly! Great experience.

Though I ultimately was not able to wear the dress to my formal event due to it being far too long to walk comfortably in, if I were just standing there, it looked gorgeous. Pros: great cut. Nice, heavy material. Cons: dress was super heavy and hard to walk in due to its voluminous material. Dress arrived smelling of cigarettes and with deodorant stains on the armpits, so I had it cleaned just in case I needed to wear it. RTR offfered to reimburse me for this cost (I didn't bother) - great customer service!

the silk skirt was great, for the top, I was pretty flat so this was not the most flattering choice. would not rent again out of personal preference. this is a bit plain and maybe for older woman (i'm almost 30).
