The material is very heavy... very good quality and perfect for fall or winter.

Wore the a winter wedding, dress was very warm. Comfortable and no fuss. Bow detail and flouncy skirt were very cute and flattering.

Wore this to my cousin's 40th birthday party...material was wonderful quality! Fit like it was tailored for me. I had so many compliments, especially on the bow part of dress. I did have to sticky tape it the bow to stand straight however. Wish I could own it!

I had originally ordered the 40 but it was too damaged to be worn. So RTR sent me another dress just in case the backup size didn't fit but it did! I loved wearing this dress! The sleeves are very long but you can roll them under and you couldn't even tell. The dress material is also very heavy so I wouldn't recommend it if you're going to be somewhere warm. The pictures on the website don't really do this dress justice, it's adorable!

I absolutely LOVE this dress. The fabric is very thick, which was perfect for my bridal shower in Chicago. I received so many compliments! The dress does run a bit big, so I suggest ordering a size down. Also, this dress has POCKETS!!! It doesn't get any better than that!

Fit large in the waist and bust. Long in the sleeves. I'm petite, so I deal with those issues often. The color and the fabric hid how large the dress actually was. The zippers on the sleeves made it easy to keep the sleeves long and hide how it bunched around my upper arms and shoulders. Overall great and comfortable dress. I would totally wear it again! If I bought it myself I would probably have to get it tailored a bit.

I wore this dress for an evening wedding in the fall. The dress is made of heavy fabric so it kept me warm all night. The sleeves were a little long on me but I'm petite. The good thing is there are zippers at the bottom of the sleeves so I was able to zip them up a bit and roll the sleeves under. The skirt portion is made of a fabric almost like a heavy felt but with lining so no itchy feelings. It hit maybe 1-2 inches above my knee since I'm only 5'3". I got a lot of compliments all night! I also loved the fact that it had pockets which came in very handy. Overall very comfortable and beautiful dress. I would definitely rent again!

This dress was amazing for any winter party. I wore it to a wedding and loved it. The fabric is beautiful! It is a heavy dress…so be prepared to be warm. Great for any type of cold weather. It runs a little big. I ordered two sizes and wore the smaller one. It does run on the larger size. I rented two and wore the smaller one.

I wore this dress for my engagement photoshoot. It is such a beautiful, elegant and classic piece, I didn't want to return it! I would highly recommend renting this for a fall or winter occasion as the fabric is quite heavy. Definitely want to rent this again!

This dress is not your run-of the-mill frilly, girly, sparkly thing all the other women will be wearing. I loved it. And so did everyone else at my event. It is special. I highly recommend this dress. It even has pockets...!

I like the the dress a lot. I am a size 2-4 depending on the vendor. It fit pretty well. I am 5'2 and 115lbs and I got the 38. I can't imagine someone taller wearing it in that size since it was the perfect length. I think if you are taller than 5'2 it might be a little short unless you like the butt look;). If you have boobs bigger than a 34C I would suggest you go up size. It is a little low cut so you will see cleavage. I hid it with a low necklace with pearls since I didn't have another option. I probably would have like to try the next size up if it was available. Not for warm weather. Very heavy material but perfect for the fall or winter or colder weather climate. Also, the zipper was hard to get up and down.

The dress was fun to wear and warm on a cold evening. I am 5'5" and 110lbs. I am a true size 0 and was able to wear and I think it looked nice but it was roomy.

The dress is beautiful. Fabric is heavy so not for a hot night, but it is very well constructed and fits well. I didn't give it a 5 star rating because the dress had seen some mileage - it was pilly and a bit nubby.

This dress is beautiful and its very high quality is obvious to anyone who sees it. I just wish it had fit me a little better. I am on the lower end of a size 8 but not low enough to be between sizes. I'm still an 8 80% of the time. I got this in an 8 with a 10 for backup (you never know with my hips and European designers). The 8 was a moderately big around my waist yet the arms were very tight (though not uncomfortable). So if I had gone a size down, it probably wouldn't have fit my arms. While it would have been better with a more fitted waist (had I owned the dress, there was certainly room to get it altered), it still accentuated my hourglass shape. I was happy with it.

SO disappointed with this dress! I loved everything about it on the model and had been eyeing it for a long time. Unfortunately, the size 38 does not translate to a size zero. The waist was loose fitting, which would have been okay with any other dress, but because of all the volume (the model image doesn't show truly how much volume there is in the skirt), you would want the waist fitted. The shoulders and chest were also loose. Such a disappointment as it would have been perfect for a winter wedding.

This would be the perfect dress for a cocktail party but if the weather is going to anywhere upwards of 50 degrees forget it!! I live in Atlanta and thought this would be great for an October party but the thickness of the fabric made this a no go!!

I got this dress for a wedding, but unfortunately wasn't able to wear it. I ordered the smallest size, but it was still much too big. The fabric is extremely heavy and stiff, and the fit ontop reminded me of an odd tent. It was also much more low cut than appeared in the picture. The skirt was also much bulkier than in the picture and you couldn't really even tell all the extra fabric formed a bow.

I order this dress for a charity event I planned. I loved this dress when I got it in the mail and I do think it was a great quality, unfortunately neither of my options fit. I am normally in between a 2-4, so I ordered a 2 and 4. The 2 fit better than the 4, but it was very loose in the back and it looked sloppy. Sadly, I couldn't wear either and I did not have time to get another one. If you are petite and have a short torso like me, I'd recommend going smaller than you think.

The dress was so beautiful and slimming...but NOT acceptable for those of use who have any sort of muscle in their arms. If I could have gotten the sleeves on, it would have been so perfect. Very slimming and the V-neck is just flirty/edgy enough! The material was not made to stretch though - normal sized arms only.

This was sent to me as my first dress didn't fit. Well this one did not either, really large in the torso and hung like a sack. I'm a solid 6-8 in most dresses with a 36B bust. I was sent the 8. Had to wear something out of my own closet, which was fine, just disappointing. This is the first time I have had a problem with fit from RTR.

I had such high hopes for this dress but this size 42 (a US 6) was outrageously huge. I think it must be mislabeled.

Unfortunately, neither size I ordered fit. I confirmed with a stylist that I should the order the size 40 based on my measurements. I ordered the size 42 as a backup. The 40 was too large. Prior to ordering I realized the dress had a full skirt with a large bow. However, the skirt was huge and almost hit the top of my knees. The top of the dress was also very loose fitting. Would recommend ordering a size smaller.
