A bit hard for a small bust, but wore the smaller backup size and it worked perfectly. Worked well with heels for 5'8".

I agree that you should go a size down, I got a 2 and likely could have done a 0. Very comfortable and flattering, I received tons of compliments about the dress.

Gorgeously stunning one shoulder Vionnet gown! The beautiful asymmetrical ruffles compliment the dress perfectly. This style is great to wear to any black tie event, formal affair or wedding. Running true to size, we recommend sizing up for backup if you’re curvier and down if you’re smaller framed. I typically am a size 2 (40 in this case) and am wearing a size 0 (38) in the photo. It was a little tight under my arms but overall it fit and looked great. With no stretch to the fabric and a fitted bust, this dress would work best for A to C cup sizes. It is fitted around the waist and very fitted around the hips however leaving a comfortable amount of room within the midsection. Pair with sleek silver accessories and black heels and you’ll never forget this look!

A beautiful one shoulder black gown for any black tie affair! You would definitely need to wear a strapless bra with his dress. I would also recommend going up one size for back up since it is fitted in the waist and hips. You can complete this look with a great statement earring and black stiletto!

This dress is really pretty. It's simple, but elegant and different. The slit is just right. I read the reviews and ordered a 6. I would have also ordered an 8, since the reviews suggested to go up a size, but it wasn't available. When I tried it on, the 6 was really, really big. It was long, which I expected since I have short legs, but It was also overall just very big. This doesn't happen to me often, so I would suggest trying your size and, if you're small chested like me, maybe go smaller. Ultimately I didn't wear the dress because it was just way too big.

I wore Tamara stiletto heels and I rocked the dress and I looked exactly the way I wanted to look.

Glamorous gown to wear for black tie gala

I think I would go down one size if I were to rent it again. The cut was interesting and the drape flattering, but the stitching for the front pleat/drape detail was visible (it didn't lay flat at all, and the visible stitching did look a little weird). The fabric draped nicely, but the crepe felt sort of plasticky and a little bit cheap (which is odd, since it's apparently a silk/viscose blend). I'd probably wear it to the right event, but I would try to find a way to make the front drape stay in place. This would look killer with black stilettos.

This was one of three dresses I chose for a formal event, this one didn't make the cut however after trying it on it was very comfortable. Not as formal as I expected. Would be cute for a night time outdoors wedding with cute sandals
