The 6R fit me perfectly. I don't think a smaller size is offered, but I wouldn't normally have picked a 6. Be careful with the zipper -- I did it up myself and went to brunch and hunched over and it literally split all the way up my back! I had a friend check it out in the bathroom and she confirmed that the teeth hadn't been properly lined up to start. After she fixed it, I didn't have any issues, and I got helping zipping it the next morning and wore it to work and to a party after with no issues also. It wrinkled a bit, but it was lovely and unique. I would rent it again.

This dress is beautiful. I wore this for a dinner for the opening night of the opera season. It was perfect, since it was modest and flattering without being overly trendy or sexy. The fabric is amazing like all Vilshenko items. I really like the cut of this dress with the color change around the waist following the bottom of the rib cage. I found this dress to be expertly tailored and true to size.

This dress is beautiful and high quality but really just not for me – and the longer I wore it the less I liked it. In part this is my fault, because I really don’t like jacquard and I really don’t like ¾ sleeves but the print was so pretty that I thought it would be nice for work, which of course it totally was but I couldn't really get past those elements that I didn't like. The jacquard texture, the wide-cuffed sleeves, and the overall color scheme all made it feel a bit pajama-like to me. The fit was also not great, although it might have been better if I sized down (sometimes UK sizing runs small but in this case I would say it does not). The bust was horribly baggy and it’s darted in such a specific fitted way that it really looked terrible on me. All in all, the print, fabric, and cut all felt quite matronly on me and it wasn’t really my style.

This dress is different than my normal style, but I really liked it! Flattering and unique, and a nice fabric. Would rent again

This dress is so beautiful in person and fits really well although it is a little plunging and runs a little large.

This dress fits so well - very flattering and the feel of the material is great. I might have to own this one it was so cute - great for office casual and then I went to the theater in the evening and it worked perfect. Love it!

Gorgeous dress but runs small on top. I rented the uk 8 (US 4) and it was too tight on top (I am a pretty consistent 4 on top). The bottom, where I usually have issues fit but tightly. The bodice was incredibly tight so large bosom girls size up accordingly. I will rent again but will definitely size up 1 or 2 sizes.

A beautiful silk dress that would be good for work or party. It ran a bit small in the shoulders, but big through the hips, so wasn't sure how to characterize it in overall fit. I wore it to church as I felt it didn't fit well enough for this event I had planned on wearing it to. I will rent again for the spring for sure.

Remember its British sizing. Sometimes I can wear a UK 14 but his was not one of those times. Too small in the shoulders and chest. Also the fabric wasn't very soft. Sent back. Prettier up close than it is in photos.

This dress isn't my usual style, but I liked it. I don't remember what I expected the material to be like, but it's crepe. It got pretty wrinkly in the midsection after I had been sitting down for a while. The colors are vibrant and the fit it good -- though it was tricky to pull up the zipper in the back by myself because the top is fitted, so I couldn't reach because the fabric constrained my arms when I reached over my head to grab the zipper. I could have gone down a size, but I prefer not to wear stockings and have it a little loose.

Well made dress that would look good for conservative outing... a little church-ladyish. However the wedding I am attending is not at a church and it felt frumpy on me.
