I'm 5'3 140lbs. I probably could have fit into the medium but like how comfortable the large was. Length hit a little lower than mid calf on me. The snap at the front neckline kept popping open all day so I'd suggest a straight neckline bralette/cami underneath for work. The style is like a shirt/skirt combination with the front kind of "tucked in" and the back shirt tail out. I'm a fan & would rent this again or the other Vince styles that are similar.

I wore this walking around on a hot day and then out to dinner. The dress is super light weight which was perfect for the weather, and the pockets made it fun and casual. However, the slit in the back made it feel slightly elevated for my dinner out. Overall, I really liked this piece.

I liked this dress and the little details. The embroidery is very cute and I like the pleat in the front middle but I also like that the small slit is to the side so the dress moves well when you walk. It does run large- I should have worn a size down but it was only available at the time in a small. It's a pretty casual dress but could be dressed up for a dinner etc.

It's a dress that's FINE if you need something for work. It has pockets, it's not constricting. But it's kinda shapeless and the skirt blows open a bit.

Yes, it's baggy but I happen to like that in a dress. Wore a black cami underneath as the one fastener did seem very precarious.

I will say that the fabric does wrinkle fairly easily. But it's a cute pattern and the cut outs throughout the dress are classy

Fit is great, looks good on, comfortable to wear, all around nice and breezy dress.

i'm typically a 4, but vince usually runs large so i went w an xs and am glad i did. btwn the elastic waist and open back, there are plenty of room all around without looking sloppy. if you're much smaller than me this might be too overwhelming. the open back wasn't obv so i actually wore it to work and didn't feel uncomfortable. the slit makes it easy to walk, but not indecent. the pockets are awesome, too. highly recommend!

I wore this dress as cocktail attire for a wedding. Fit was larger than expected- I usually wear a small but needed to go with the extra small due to the bust line. The fabric is a thick cotton and the details are actually embroidered into the dress which was an unexpected but nice touch. The dress also has nice deep pockets which was a nice surprise. The back is beautiful and a nice touch but where it from the front looked a tad awkward. Overall very comfortable dress which is easy to move around in and has some nice details, can dress this up or down depending on the occasion.

I wore this one twice, comfortable and cute. I had rented this in a different color about a month before, so I knew it wouldn't disappoint! Would rent this silhouette again!

If you wear a cami to cover up the back. It was comfortable, too!

Great summer dress! The material is perfect for keeping cool on a hot day. The skirt on the size L hits right at my lower calf which made for a boxier silhouette. But, there's actually a small slit that's hidden by the front pleat of the skirt that shows off a hint of leg while you walk, and that combined with the back cutout are flirty little details on what at first glance would seem a demure dress.

I love the detailing on the back, though the tiny snap holding the front together was prone to busting open, a hook and eye closure would have been better. Be sure to have on a matching bralette for those moments.

Fabric is tough and shape isn't flattering. Random skits and openings make it tough to wear in a casual work setting. Couldn't find a good occasion to wear.

A little bulky, not great for a petite frame.

I originally ordered a Small in this dress, and the boxiness of the starchy fabric made it look like a paper doll outfit that didn't fit right. I re-ordered an XS (I usually wear a 4-6) and it looked a lot better. The open back and the front slit hidden behind a crease are awesome, but if too big it just looked silly.

Just an awkward dress..the top was too tight, bottom slit was in an awkward place as well.

This did nothing for me. I returned it unworn.

The wings on the top fail to define a waist.
