So much fun. So many compliments. Loved being able to tie it a few ways. Vince has the most amazing cuts and always shows a little back, a little side leg ,or both. The fabric is so light and great in the heat and is such a gorgeous color. I always feel tempted to buy my Vince rentals. This is a keeper. Absolutely great from day to night. You can wear it with sandals and then untie the knots for a flowy back with heels at the resort at night. Also great for going out.

love this dress! I think I wore it three times. Don't let it fool you whenever you see it on the hanger, it looks like two long pieces of fabric sewn together..but when you tie it around the waist, it comes to life!

Fabric is super light - high slits on both sides while sitting so be aware! I run 6-8 and the Medium was perfect for me.

Really comfortable and lightweight dress. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it is a little awkward under the sleeves (probably will have to wear a cami under it), and it seems to wrinkle easily. Overall, it is great for casual every day use and could transition well to a dinner date.

Hilarious shape before you tie it. Like a caped tunic. Not a tight or svelte dress, but still wonderfully elegant and breathable. Summer chic and lightweight. Large armholes, so wore a skin-colored bra for less noticeability. Wore to work but feels like a dress for vacationing in Italy. Had several compliments in the office and one from a woman on the street who told me it was "sexy," so maybe it moves better than it photographs!

I love the details of the dress, the way it's constructed was really cool. I'm a 6/8 and I wish I had rented a small but the medium was fine. Very comfortable for a summer work day

Much like the other reviews say- this dress looks super strange and is interesting to get into. Once it's on however, it's like this kimono-inspired slash safari-esque amazingness that I wore twice: once with flip flops walking around in Brooklyn on a hot summer day and again the following week with strappy heels (pictured here). Beware of the gaping arm holes tho - I wore a body suit underneath but you could do a cute bra or tank depending on where you wear it

You can see from one of the photos the dress has a unique opening. It was certainly not as defined of a waistline as it is in the RTR photos but easy to adjust. This dress has great flow, shows just a bit of leg when walking and feels amazing on. It does wrinkle immediately and the armholes were large enough that I felt I had to wear a cami underneath.

I wore this to a baby shower and got many compliments. Amazing color, unique silhouette, and flawless fit. I ask nothing more in a rental dress. I was tempted to buy this one and I rarely have that urge.

I wore this to deliver a lecture that was being photographed for a media post. The fabric is really summery and wrinkles a bit like linen. Don't let that deter you. Color is great and fun construction at waist makes this both billowy and slimming. I will def rent again

Loved the tie at the waist. Great if in between sizes. Also it was a bit worn looking (faded color), but still got many compliments.

I read in another review that you can't let the dress fool you when it arrives. I totally agree. It looks like a giant piece of fabric but once you tie it, it is adorable.

This dress is super comfortable, and easy to dress up or down. I think I could have sized down to medium, but the large was still really cute and not too baggy because of the front tie.

This dress is fantastic. It's beyond comfortable, so chic and is literally perfect for hot summer days. It does gape under the arms as others have mentioned, but a bandeau or spaghetti tank makes it not noticeable. The length is fantastic and the sleeves provide more coverage on your upper arms than you would expect. I will likely buy this dress (rented through Unlimited) because I love it so much! Also, the color is such a lush, vibrant orangey-red. I get tons of compliments every time I wear it! Might want to size down if you're shorter or very petite as it could overwhelm you.

This dress is perfect for everyday, super comfortable and easy to wear. May want to wear a tank top underneath since bra is sometimes visible under the arms

Like other reviews noted, looks odd when you first put it on, but once you tie the front it's a cool, flattering Dress. It wrinkles very easily. I ironed it before I put it on and within a few hours it was wrinkled again. I did wear a tank top underneath because I didn't feel comfortable with how much skin is exposed below the armpits. Overall, really cool easy dress.

This was fun to wear once. Reasonably comfortable. Between the tie across the hips and the wrinkling of the fabric there, this dress brings all of the attention to that area.

This garment is surprising. On the hanger, it looks like a mistake. When you get it on, it's funky and sexy yet relaxed. The material did look a bit over worn, but I guess that's part of the relaxed look of the garment.

I was headed off for a beach vacation during a heat wave and wanted to rent a loose fitting dress to bum about in. Through my unlimited subscription I rented the size small, in part because the medium was snatched up while I was making my other selections. I though, what the heck, it looks like the dress is over-sized and that a small could work (albeit with slightly less material to cinch). Nope - the hips are fitted and the garment was too snug across my size 8 middle. I might try and rent again in my real size - size medium. The cut was very pretty, minimalist, and modern.

The reviews are right -- this dress looks bizarre on the hanger -- but when on cinches nicely to show as much waist as you want. I tried a skirt from Vince with a similar waist tie that I loved so much I purchased. There is something so flattering about this style and think it could work for anyone!

I was a little bit disappointed that this dress is made of linen but the style is very unique. In the end it really is more of a beach dress- Which you can't completely tell from the picture. It's slips over your head almost like a smock and then you tie the sashes around your waist. Would be perfect for a casual day at beachside resort.

I really liked this dress. It was a bit big in the arms, but the cut is very flattering. I was a tad disappointed with the material. It easily wrinkles, so I wouldn't wear it to any big event. Great work dress.

This dress was new when I rented it through unlimited. Since the construction was a bit different I wanted to review for others. It has two pieces connected at the shoulder; the front is essentially a backless maxi dress that is long in the front and short in the back, and the back piece has ties that wrap around in front like the model picture. The effect is a dolman sleeve look and side slits on the leg and it was pretty flattering. The only issue was that there was some gapping under the arm on both sides, evident when moving around. I wore a cami under; would be cute with a bralette or for beach/resort. Definitely not a work dress. I am a big Vince fan and the color and fabrication were great. Vince does run a bit large if you haven't worn it before.

Perfect color - great fit. Super comfortable. Slightly awkward because my torso is kind of short, so the top ballooned a bit, but hardly even worth mentioning. Loved it. It does wrinkle easily.

Slits are higher on the side than I anticipated so it was not as work appropriate as I hoped and don't quite have a weekend vibe either

This dress is cool style but I think it'd work better on someone more tall and lean (I'm a pear shaped). Great color though!

Honestly, this was nothing special and far more suited as a beach cover-up than an everyday dress. The design was quite interesting, but the fabric was semi-sheer and the side slits and arm holes were super revealing.
