Pros-black, flattering, soft goes with any type of shoe. Con-to some you might look like the witches from the coven season of AHS. (To me this is a pro, but to each their own). This is a good transition dress for spring and fall because it's light weight but long sleeved and is longer in length! Love, will be buying eventually.

Nice and roomy while still feeling polished and chic on a very rainy and blustery day. Def can't cinch the ties at all or you get gaping and tugging where the buttons meet, but as long as you like the slouchy boyfriend look you're golden.

Tr'es Chic! This shirtdress has adjustable waist which is awesome as I am someone who likes a more relaxed fit but to still show some waist. The crepe material is very comfortable and feels nice on the skin. Perfect for an everyday outfit and you can wear it with high boots, short boots and even flats. I would wear it with statement earrings to make it less monochromatic. I will definitely rent again!

This is a good dress for work. The fit is loose, and like others have said, you can't really cinch it at the waist. Not a showstopper, but a good choice for any work event where you want to be comfortable.

I still can't decide how I feel about this dress. On one hand it was super comfortable and fun. But on the other it was baggy and I can't tell if it was flattering. Either way it fit well and was a good work dress.

I ordered the Medium thinking I could easily use the drawstring belt to bring in the waist. However, if it gets any tighter than freehanging, the front pulls open at the buttons. Nice dress, but had to be worn more like a sheath dress. I'd get a small next time.

This dress is okay but it didn't really do anything for me. I like the D-Ring details but other than that it's pretty plain. If you're looking for a good straightforward basic go ahead and rent. It just didn't wow me or do much for my shape, so I returned it without wearing it.

Runs large like most Vince so I ordered small instead of my usual medium. The small was still loose, roomy, long. It's important to note that you can not clinch the waist band even slightly on this design or the front will pull open between buttons like in my pic. So only order this if you want loose and shapeless. Saying all that I still liked the dress as it was good quality, but not enough to want to rent again.

I wore this for out to a bar/lounge. The fit was pretty large. Straps on the side give the dress some shape, unlike other shirt dresses that look boxy. Overall I loved the fabric, the style, fit. Received compliments from everyone!

Great material. Didn't wrinkle. Consider a black slip. The medium was perfect but if I cinched the belt, the dress puckered and you could see skin. Loose and straight is the look

I liked the loose feel to this dress. The loose look, looks great and art-full. I wore it with low, flat boots and lace tights. As someone who fluctuates between a 8 and a 10, it was nice to wear a dress that might be slightly too large. The sleeves were definitely long. Yes, the waist is not meant to be cinched. I have, however, now rented the small, as I am seriously thinking of purchasing this dress and want to make sure I have the sizing right.

Looks like it would be matronly but the cut is super fun with side cinch buckles to define a drop waist. I want to buy this dress now. Some of the buttons are showing wear now however :(

The fit is meant to be oversized. Worn this way it gives off a very cool, nonchalant, vibe. The d rings aren't really meant for cinching at the waist. I found they sat at about hip level, and were more for detailing and for very slight shaping/draping. This dress was extremely comfortable and since the armholes didn't hug my armpits, I was able to rewear this several times before I returned it.

Fantastic work dress - slouchy and cool, but still conservative enough for a law office. You can't really cinch the waist straps or it looks weird, but it looks great with the straps uncinched.

I did pull the tabs tighter on the sides of the dress and that did give a little emphasis to my waist / figure. I feel like this is the perfect work dress and I may not return it!

This has little pulls on the side that are like adjustable darts, and a lot of reviews are about how much to tighten them. I think you are better off viewing them as decoration, since tightening them too much causes the dress to pull at the buttons, and they are well below anyone's natural waist. If you treat it instead as a piece that's meant to be a bit oversized and fashion forward, it's a great dress. I looked bloody good in it, I thought. Might buy.

I loved this style, It was super flattering and was adjustable which is great for all body types. I wore this to work and felt very professional without being stuffy. I highly recommend this style.

Cute dress that was easy for work, the belt didn't work on me the way it is on the model, I just ended up tying it a different way and it looked normal. wore this for work, nothing special!

I hated this the first time I tried it on because I was trying to tighten the side ties, which created gaps between the buttons above and below the waist. Read some other reviews and decided to give it a try worn looser and with a black camisole underneath. Ended up being a very cute, cool silhouette perfect for a Friday at work and dinner with a friend afterwards. Would rent again!

This is a good every day work dress. Loose fitting. The D rings never stayed in place and if you sit the buttons are so far apart you can sometime see skin. Definitely wear with a black slip!

I ordered this dress in a large and I think I should have been better with a medium. It looks very loose on me.

This is definitely not a traditionally flattering fit-- but it's a cool and edgy look with a modern boxy loose fit.

Issue with gaping at buttons is correct, however I avoided that by tying the two pieces of "belt" together for a cinched waist, as opposed to tightening the loops (which is what creates the gaping). Cute but not anything super special. Basic black dress.

I rented this for a long trip i was taking. It was great to travel in and i could wear it several different ways throughout the trip to change my look. Most of the time I wore it open, like a light jacket. It also looked great cinched with a colorful belt. I am 5'9, 140lbs and I got an XS which i was happy with

Ran perhaps a little large but the loose dress surprisingly didn't make me look like a balloon. Great piece for everyday wear.

This is a great little sack dress, though it was a little long for this short gal. Also, the sleeves were so long that I had to keep them scrunched up at the elbow. Even if the ties on the side are loose and the dress hangs straight when you are standing straight, you will still need to fashion tape or pin in between the buttons, because as you move around the dress will gape in the front.

This dress overwhelmed my frame, but adding a belt helped with addressing that. The belt straps on the dress can't be tightened or you'll get a gaping hole in between the buttons near your waist. I was able to make it work for a conference and it was super comfortable.

Wore dress for an afternoon party where we were asked to wear a hat. I had a vintage 20's hat and this shirt dress topped with pearls completed my look. The dress was too big but worked regardless for this particular event. Very comfortable and well-made.

It's not a glamorous dress, but it looks professional and is a good everyday dress, more on the conservative side. The dress is well made, good fabric, and feels good wearing it.

I rented this dress for an evening funeral. It was very cute and fit extremely true to size. Size down for back up as it's not fitted anywhere. Comfortable room in the bust. The only thing that bothered me was the side flaps. They kind of just hung there.
